What Stage are we all at?

Post by emma0908 »

Good Morning All

Just wondered whether we should all let one another know what stage we are at, I don't know about you but I seem to be lost!!!

I'm 26 weeks today with twins. Have been told that they won't let me go over 38 weeks, is that the normal?!? Terrible back ache especially at the end of the day. No names chosen, twin one confirmed as a boy, twin two 80% a girl!

Anyone heard from Mags yet!!!

Love
Emma
x

Hi Emma

Good idea - I'll bring our due date list to the top again - maybe this'll do it??

I've heard that they won't let you go beyond 38 weeks with twins too - I believe 36/37 weeks is considered "full term" for twinnies. My consultant has said that if I go down the electric c-section route (which I don't want to!), they'd book it in for 38 weeks. I was quite shocked as am convinced they'll arrive before then!!

I'm now 31 weeks and like you, back ache can be horrible at the end of the day. I definitely find it better if I take lots of breaks and sit down throughout the day!

take care of yourself and your little ones!

Helen xx

PS - does married life suit????!!!!! :-)

Hi Girls

I don't know where you live Emma but I was initially booked in for my elective caesarean for twins at 39+4 weeks! I managed to get it brought forward to 39 weeks but you may not have your babies by 38 weeks. Now I'm glad that I got as far as I did, because we've had no health problems at all so all the discomfort of being pregnant for so long was worth it.

Jules
