Best of luck with christening today, hope all goes well, have you got her a pretty gown? or do have a family gown passed down??

Where did u go on hols? Was pheonixes holiday season huh??? hope u had nice time and good weather.....

Kate, r u thinking of going to scotland still??
We did lots of walking, and the scenery up there is fantastic. We were on coast in a little fishing village, very quaint....

Visited glen livet, more for mark than me! but still enjoyed it, and did sample the whisky!
Went to Aberdeen, which we found to be much the same as any city in the uk.... the same old shops, M&s, next, etc.... you know what i mean, so didnt really stay there that long, we visited some castles and walked some more...... it was so chilled up there, and the stress totally went.... however know it'll be back 2moro when i get to work

Marks now got full blown cold, ive decided to get up at 7 just so i can get into the swing of getting up early again, ready for nxt wk.....

Think we r going to Cambridge for my birthday, but guess that depends on mark and hows he's feeling. I really want to go punting, along the river there, then we plan to have a meal out and mark said parhaps he'd book and pay for a massage for me...

Anyway, im off now, to check my statement online, see the damage frm the hols.......

Hi Girlies

I only have 5 mins so I'm sorry no personals on this one. Thanks for all the well wishes.

Quik update - waters broke 4 am thurs 20th sept and continued to do so all day thur and fri. As labour didn't start after this was induced on the Saturday 1pm. At 9 am on sunday morning, after tens, gas & air, morphine, one failed epidural fiollowed by a second successful one, wasn't even 3cm dilated!! so had to have c section. Apparently Mia's head ina funny position in my pelvis so was never going to progress with the labour naturally. Got home from hosp on Wednesday.

Mia is gorgeous and her Daddy is totally smitten with her. We have been very emotional (in a good way) as we truly can't believe she is here and that she is ours. I am going now to try and post photos on photo bucket (or 2mro if I run out of time)

Will catch up with you all as soon as I can.

Oh lisa, i can imagine, you have been emotional, I have been feelin' emotional just reading your txt's recently, you sound so happy, I am so glad that you and mia are both fine, why did 1st epidural fail?? what ever happened??

Nicki you are right it was definitely holiday season!! We went to the Isle of Wight, I lived there for 19 years so took Katie over to show her off. Katie wore the dress I wore when I was christened (rather a long time ago!) She was absolutely fantastic and didn’t cry once. It must have been great meeting up with jen, glad you had a great holiday shame Marks not well now, at least it didn’t spoil the holiday.

Julie glad everything is ok with baby, its good to get to see the labour ward but not good to hear the noises! Hope you had a great holiday.

Kate hope you are feeling a lot better now and have a bit more energy, sending a big hug your way

Jen how are you feeling? It must be getting so close to ET now. I definitely think it would be great to all meet up, bumps and babes.

Lisa your birth was very similar to mine, I only got to 4 cm as Katie was stuck on my pelvic bone. I still can’t believe that Katie is here and she is now 6 months old! The photo’s are gorgeous, Mia has so much hair much more than Katie has now. Try and get as much rest as you can, ha ha! You need to let your body heal after the C section.

We had a lovely week away and then Christening on Sunday, so busy busy busy at the moment. Katie was a little angel all through the church service and at the party afterwards. She is trying so hard to crawl now and don’t think it will be long before she manages it. I have put a few more photos on photo bucket

Hey Ho Pheonixes...loads of posts for me to catch up with ...

gail didn't know were on hols..welcome home ...So glad the Christening of your drling Katie went so well...you will be exausted today after all the planning and orginising. did the little one get some lovely gifts?
I have just logged onto photo bucket and gosh she is such a beauty. Love the gown Gail beautiful. And she looks so grown up sitting all by herself in that chair!!!! Bless her . x x Congratulations on her Christening gail x x I also got to see her Ollie and mollie bedroom at last x x xMuch love x x

Lisa- You and Stewart look so loved up in one of the photos it had me greetin (scottish word for crying your eyes out) She is such a wee smasher a bonnie lass. She has so much hair, no wonder you felt so sick the last few weeks!!! I do hope you can rest up some of the time so you can heal your stitches xx when you are not looking at her/ holding her/ feeing her/ changing her/ soothing her never mind looking after youself . Is Stewart off for 2wks father leave or does he take hols a well. He won't want to go back to work!!!! x x Lots of love to you aDH and your little one x x x

Nicki- Sweetie i miss you...i said to my friend that i clicked with you so well it was like talking to my sister. It was so good to catch up, pity the time flew by. adam said that they way you and Mark were together id wa like out friends Jay and julie. they have been together since they were 17 and are now 40. They click so well. and both adam and i saw that you and Mark were made for eachother x x xHope mark is feeling better now you have a good day off tomorrow!!!

I am still waiting on IM contactinfg me for next step....it's been too long and i am getting p'ed off now. Should be this week as i finish 3 packets of bc pills on friday.
Did have a good weekend with adams parents in aviemore. The weather was sunny and fab and Broc was good too. The motorohome wnt on friday and we've been told it will take 8wks or so before it's fixed ??? have to oreder the parts from Germany!!!! So we wont be going away for part of our 2ww like we thought we might. Shame ! but at least we can get it fixed on the other guys insurance.

anyway gotta go no or i 'll be late

Back at work today . Only 11 weeks til I finish and on official count down!!!!!!

Nikki - Happy Birthday for tomorrow! Hope you get lots of treats and nice pressies. Hope Mark is better and you get the massage. ( I am sorry for marrying Mark off to Lisa!! . ) Sounds like you had a good time in Scotland, especially meeting up with Jen & co.

Gail - Had a look at the pics. Katie looks as adorable as ever. Glad the christening went well. Hope she got lots of nice things!!! I didn't realise you were away....glad you enjoyed it. OMG!!! When Katie crawls she will keep you on the move! Keep us updated.

Jen - OMG - what you gonna do hun without your motorhome?! 8 weeks is a long time - hope those idiots pay!!!!!!! Should be locked up. I hope you hear some news real soon on your treatment. Surely shouldn't be too much longer? Hope not xx Sounds like you enjoyed meeting with Nikki and Mark and that you enjoyed Aviemore too...glad Broc behaving!! take advantage of your new bed as much as you can and take care.

Lisa - Well done you (again!). Realise you will be super super busy but drop in with updates when you can. How is she settling now you are home? bet you have floods of visitors! Kate - How are you feeling this week? Hope you feel much better. sounds like you have been throught the mill good and proper. Has the bleeding stopped yet? Shame about Dubai. Hope you get something else sorted if need be - the break will do you good. Half term!! Already!!! Seems like they have only been back 5 minutes. As for me Wales was good. My nan really enjoyed it (waited on hand and foot so no wonder!!) and that was my aim so it was worth the extra work. We went all over...Tenby, Cardigan, Aberporth, Aberyswyth and a few beachy places although the weather wasn't up to much.

I am much better now. The anti biotics gave me thrush tho and my god it was like a severe case of nappy rash but it has cleared up now, thankfully! I will put a "bump" pic on photobucket during the course of this week. Look huge!!!! Justin felt "him" kick for the first time on Saturday. Can actually see my stomach move now too and we could watch it for hours! and (touch wood) the heart burn has stopped!

We pheonixies haave been busy.... whilst ive been stressing @wrk.....

Yep, back to work 2day, and im stressed after 8hrs.....arghhhh!!!!
My back is killing me too, sunday i went to my mums to help her move and pulled it....... its niggling me all day....... so after i have posted here and checked emails etc.. will slob in front of TV..... Easy night ready for my birthday surprise, marks taking me somewhere???? dont know where???
Have an idea, but hey just have to wait now!!!!

ahhh dinner is ready... let me post this, otherwise i'll lose it, and post more after dinner...LOL!!! x

Nicki, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!! So Oct 1st is the day? Sounds like you and Jen had a great time meeting each other. One of these days, if anyone is visiting the U.S. southwest, plesae let me know. Maybe we can meet too! It's soo cool to have friends the other side of the globe!

Kate, hope you are feeling better. Just like Dubai, we have a lot of sun here in Phoenix!

And the weather is getting beatiful now.

As for me, I haven't started my AF yet. Probably next week. We thought we might not be able to do it this cycle, as DH was going to the Netherland for work. Fortunately that's been delayed. Still, I'm so stressed over his work schedule. He could have last minute business trips, what if it's when we do egg-donor cycle? I'm just going to have to relax and cross the bridge when I come to it...We're going to Las Vegas for a couple of days next week, to meet up a high school friend who I haven't seen for 20 years! Boy, do I feel old!
