i am on my 4th cycle and this time donor eggs ( DE)...
have just finished down reg and am now awaiting AF ( 2-4 DAYS TIME SO SAT/SUN)..then start eostrogen patches...no injections for me this time. scan on monday 15th oct and ET should be in 2wks after scan x x

Praying for a BFP's for us all!!!!

I am going to hope on board of this thread if that is okay. I just started my 7th IVF cycle - I am hoping this is lucky #7. AF arrived last Thursday and I started my stims on Saturday - I so hate these injections.

Went in for my first u/s yesterday and they saw 6 follicles which is great for me. I am typically a late bloomer so I am hoping that more pop up over the next day or two. I go in again on Saturday to see where we are at.

I think my ER will be Oct 11 or 12. This time around I am doing a double transfer so I'll have two transfers (2 days apart) sometime the week of Oct 15.

Thank you for the offer to jump on board Jen.

In answer to your question, this is my first flare cycle. I am quiet excited about it and am hoping it will produce better results than the 3 cycles I had 2 years ago. I am waiting AF (hopefully on Thursday) to start.

This is my update from today's appointment.

Will start tonight Buserlin (supercur) 300iu.

Now is sit and wait till the AF comes to start stimms.

Hi ladies,
I am jumping on this thread too if you don't mind. This is my 2nd ivf, my first was last yr-got a bfp but m/c at 6.5 wks. Anyway, I will be doing a flare cycle with stims on 10/18 with Er on 10/29. I will be doing microdose lupron and 450-follistem. It's an aggressive protocal but hopefully will have a bfp at the end. Good luck to you all and may you get your bfp!

Wow, that is an aggressive cycle. I hope it all goes well. I will be on fairly high doses of the stims too. I am a little concerned about the side effects.

I hope AF comes on time Anie. I am waiting too... for the first time in a long time I am waiting for the sore boobs and cramps, ironic hu!

How was the girls night Jen?

Kelly, I have never heard of a double transfer. Have you had that before?

Where is everyone from? I am from Australia.

Talisen_cat, I have never had a double transfer before. It is a fairly rare procedure that they are starting to use with repeated IVF failures. But, who knows whether I'll even get to do that given the news I got this morning.

I am in canada and it is thanksgiving weekend and right now I feel like I have nothing to be thankful about.

I went in for my day 10 scan this morning thinking that I would have about 10 follicles (up from my 6 on day 7). Well, they told me that I still only had 6 but the problem was that two were ready to go, one was on the verge and 3 were still quite small. then they looked at me and said, what is your plan if the IVF is canceled. What do they mean, what is my plan? Aren't they supposed to be giving me direction in this? So, i have to go in tomorrow for another scan and see what is happening. They don't do IVF for anything less than 4 so it doesn't look good.

This is my last attempt with my eggs so if this doesn't work then we'll be going overseas. i wish I had just gone this route 2 months ago when I thought it was my destiny. I am so frustrated with this process.

Sorry for my venting.

What a blow Kelly,

Do you have any say in still continuing even with less eggs? My old clinic would allow us to make the decsion if there was only 3 ok follies. I chose to cancel the first time becasue I hoped to have a more aggressive protocol the next time (and I wasn't sure I could affords another cycle).

When you say your going oveseas, do you mean to continue IVF somewhere else?

I hope there is some better news on your next US.

kellym- I hope yourfollies turn around so you can get through this cycle. I can't belive they didn't offer any advice. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you.

talisen_cat-looks like e are both on a flare cycle. They told me that it was to get my system going before stims start. Here's hoping it works.

Hello everyone,

wannabeamomma, Jen, and Anie....This waiting for AF to come is a drag! Being my 4th cycle (like you Jen), I am trying to be really cool about it, but the anixety is starting to lurk. And all of a sudden I'm cravin g all the stuff I'm supposed to be avoiding (choccie, red wine, a really really good coffee.....)

Kelly, how are things for you?

Is anyone else starting to get a little tetchy waiting, waiting, waiting...
