Back on the wagon

Well I have been MIA for a couple of months. You might not remember me so here is our history. I am 33 years old - soon to be 34. We had a BFP on 2 May 07 and unfortunately began to miscarry on 29 June 07 - at 10weeks 5 days pregnant. This was devastating to both hubby and myself. We chose to miscarry naturally especially since the Doctors were guiding us in that direction - although did leave it up to us ultimately. Nearly four weeks later I was still bleeding so was given a D&C to remove the retained products of pregnancy (sounds awful doesn't it - but that is what they call it). Had D & C on 30 July. I am normally on a very regular 28-29 day cycle and my first period after miscarriage and D & C was on 2 September - 34 days. It was a heavy and long period. A few days ago I started very lightly spotting - on and off and today it is getting heavier - the nurse thinks it might be my period starting off today. It is 34 days today since my last period.

Anyway, after all that I am going to start the next cycle this month for a frozen embryo transfer. The doctor wanted me to have two periods before starting the next round. I am meant to start on the estrogen on the first day of my period but am getting confused between bleeding and spotting which has been happening over the last few days with some clear CM - (sorry TMI). I asked the nurse this and she has told me to start the tablets as soon as the real period kicks in. I am a little nervous that since this is not a normal period it might affect the outcome of the cycle. She is going to talk it over with the Doctor but she seems confident that it will not affect the outcome because this is a manufactured cycle. She is also happy that my body is ready for the treatment. I am just freaking out because the spotting is unusual for me and am worried that the next round will not work because of my cycles not being completely back to normal.

Has this happened to anyone else? Any ideas?
