Need a bit of reassurance that i haven't messed up this IVF cycle.
I'm on day 4 of stimms (Menopur). On day 2 i got an almighty headache so i took 2 Anadin Ibuprofen. Since then i've read on the internet that you should only take Paracetamol as anything else can interfere with the treatment. I wasn't told this by the nurse. Going for a scan on Wednesday but don't really want to spend the next 4 days worrying that i've messed up our 1 and only chance.
Hi A&P. I really wouldn't worry about it. I did the same internet research at one point, and did switch from ibuprofen to paracetamol, but I did get the feeling that the real worry was if you took a lot. I'm sure two wouldn't make any difference. You weren't told about it by the nurse BECAUSE it's not a huge deal.
If I were you, I just resolve to take paracetamol if you get more headaches. Good luck - hope you produce lots of lovely little follicles!
