HCG Results today!

I'm getting my results today. This was our second attempt. They put in 3 8-cell embryos with no fragments. I don't think I am getting a BFP. First of all, I took a HPT yesterday and IT was negative. ALSO, I feel PMS'ed. I have many symptoms that I get when I am expecting my period. I sincerely am not trying to be negative but simply realistic. I am sad...

GOOD LUCK ... KEEP THE FAITH... WHEN I DID MY FIRST IVF-ICSI I DID AN HPT THE DAY B-4 AND IT WAS NEGATIVE, AND THE FOLLOWING DAY WAS MY BLOOD WORK AND HERE IT WAS MY GREAT POSITIVE .....I WAS PREGNANT!! SO KEEP THE FAITH I HOPE YOU GET THE GOOD NEWS....

Ladies, thank you SO much for all this support. I am trying to remain positive BUT IT IS SO HARD. That and not being completely obsessed with the impending phone call.

gosh.....i KNOW its hard......thought i'd have a heart attack the day of my call........and in hindsight --- am SO glad i was at work for the day..... it helped keep my mind busy with other stuff (not that i didn't think about it ALL day......) but helped pass the time maybe a little quicker...... AND - knowing that i woudln't get my call til right around the time it was time for me to go home ---- so whatever emotions i would be dealing with, i'd be able to hurry and leave!!!!!!

what are you doing to keep yourself BUSY????????????????????

Jen, I hope and pray you get a BFP today. The worst part of IVF is the 2WW, and when you go for the blood work, it's the WORST. Don't give up hope because of the HPT - I've read that they aren't 100% reliable and besides that you may have tested too soon. Waiting for that phone call is the worst. Try and keep busy - I know easier said then done.
