Hi ladies,
Sorry if this is TMI but this morning when I vomited there was blood there. Going to call doctor - has anyone else had this? What were you told? Should I be worried?

Jane I wouldn't like to worry you, but the blood in the vomit and in the stool is never a good sign and you have to contact your doctor. The only time I heard about the blood in vomit was when my mother in law had an ulcer in her stomach. (But that was put under control instantly)...Good luck and keep us informed.
I remember reading at least one other woman with severe M/S had also vomited blood...go by what your doctor says. Sounds very painful, I hope you and the baby are ok!

Hi ladies,
Thanks for your replies. My doctor wasn't too concerned about the blood. He said that when you vomit often the acid makes your throat sore and dry and this causes the bleeding. He is more concerned that I vomited three times in one day, if it carries on he says I'll need to spend some time in hospital. Hopefully it won't come to that.
Thanks for all your support,
Jane

Jane,
I had vomited blood about 3 or 4 weeks ago. I had a severe case of MS, it was awfull, i would throw up probably 10 to 15 times a day. Now it is better, only ones or twice a day, which is bad enough.
My doc told me that he would send to the gastroentorologist( spelling?) but it never happened again. I really think that it happens because you are throwing up a lot, may be some blood vessels broke or something.
Take care of yourself and i hope you will feel better.
Vlada .
