Is the chat room working???

Post by Helen G »

Hiya Kirsty and Joshua

I must admit I haven't actually tried to get into the chat room recently but I've seen other people talk about problems! Does that mean we won't be able to catch up?! :-(

I've just read another posting of yours saying that you're now seeing someone every week - you lucky thing, I'm not. At the moment I see the consultant once a month and the midwife/doctor once a month - so I suppose that works out that I see someone once a fortnight. Like you I thought it would become more frequen the closer I got. mind you, I'm not as close as you!! :-) What date are you being induced again??

I hope you're enjoying not working and taking it easy! Are you ready for little Joshua yet?? I still don't think I've got my head around the fact that I'm having babies at the end of this big bump! I don't think it's going to sink in for me until they arrive. I went on a major spending spree yesterday and have brought just about everything I think I need now - from baby monitors to nappies. It was really good fun! what more do you have to do?

Hopefully we'll be able to sort out how to use the chat room and catch up properly soon.

LOL Helenx
+ Max & Harvey

Hiya Helen, Max & Harvey,
Hope you are all well. I am getting really impatient now are you? I am not sleeping very well as keep thinking about life with Joshua...
I have an appointment with the consultant on Friday for my 34 week check. I will hopefully find out then if I am going to be induced or not. I may be able to let things happen naturally..It depends on test results.
Half of me wants a totally natural birth from start to finish, where as the other half of me just wants to meet our little baby!!
(Oh well..either way is good!)
I have done lots of shopping now..still have a few bits n pieces to get but most major stuff had been bought. Isn't it great!! Now I am off work I can really enjoy this pregnancy. Most of the time I am reading, daydreaming or eating!! Love it!!
I have only just began to see the midwife weekly, not sure why, but means I get to hear little Joshie's heartbeat lots!!
Are your boys kicking you lots? Josh is still a lively little chap although apparently they stop moving about so much from now on..
I have my first antenatal class on Thursday..feels like it's really happening at last.
If the chat room here is not working..maybe we could meet up on www.fertilityfriends.co.uk?? They have a chat room too, Let me know what you think.
In the meantime, You take good care of you and your boys,
Lots of love
Kirsty
xx

Kirsty

I've been a complete doughnut and only just logged out! I've had the carpet fitter in this afternoon, fitting a new carpet on the stairs and new lino in the bathroom - I'm afraid the excitement of that (it looks fab and means we've just about finished our decorating!!!) means that I forgot to log on. I'll got onto FF and see if you're lurking about but I doubt it now. I'm out and about a lot tomorrow so what about Monday??

Sorry. Hope you and Joshie are well!

Helen xx

Hi Kirsty

Great to hear that Josh is doing well and that they're going to let you go to full term. Let's hope he doesn't get too big!!! (don't even think about it!)

I had my 32 week drs appointment on Tuesday and everything was looking OK. I have to keep an eye on what I eat as it appears I'm glucose intolerant (have I told you that already?) and one of the side affects is that the babies can get too big. Maybe between us we'll have record weights ( I hope not!!).

Can we make it about 4pm on Monday - I've got a few bits and pieces to sort out and not sure what time I'll be home. Let me know if that's OK.

have a great weekend - feet up!

Helen xx
