Sounds like there is quite a bit going on with everyone these days! Kelly, best of luck with the retrieval! I'm sure it's going to go well! Can't wait to hear from Jen about her test tomorrow! Good luck!!

My scan went really well. I was at 6.6mm and multi-layered. My clinic wanted to see at least 6 so thankfully I don't have to go back in again! My donor is starting her shots on Saturday, so things are really coming together. And to top it off I'm down about 2 pounds! I think I'm going to see about getting an accupuncture appointment for next week. Figure that will help me relax and get me in the right frame of mind.

My donor is coming to my clinic a week from Friday for testing so I'm looking forward to hearing how she's progressing. I just hope this whole thing works out for all of us!!!

Am ok, had a few pains in my left side last night when i got out of the car and a few tingles in my boobs, mainly the left one. Not looking into any of it as i've had that before and its usually the medi.
Bloods tomorrow at 10am then wont find out until probably after 6pm-----just planning the usual news but still got a 5% bit of hope there.

Cant believe how fast the 2ww has gone

Hi Carolyn – hope DH is taking the news well and that you get the replies you need from IM soon. Does that mean you’ll have to schedule another visit? Have a good rest at the weekend.

…You asked about my new dates. Well basically I just wait for AF and then start again from the beginning which means some tests to confirm that everything is OK to start meds on cycle day 21. At the start of the following cycle (the transfer cycle) I start with meds to build up my lining and when the clinic is fine about the development, the big wait for a donor and a transfer date begins. On my calculation that will be mid December at the earliest.

I’m beginning to get worried that AF, due in 2 weeks, just isn’t going to turn up. This happened for the first time in the summer and I’m getting similar symptoms and signs that my hormones are all mixed up. I so wish I was on meds to regulate my cycle. The clinic recommended that I start on Cyclo-Progynova on my next cycle. I can’t bear the thought of start of treatment being postponed again for weeks on end so I’m thinking of making an appointment with my local gynaecologist to get myself checked.

hello everyone,

sorry I haven't posted recently - I have been so sick! Yesterday I actually vommited on my new (suede!) shoes in the car park at work and so walked around with these manky things on my feet all day!!

It sounds like so much is going on that I have lost track but I do know that jen tests tomorrow so I am keeping everything crossed for that BFP!! tingles in boobs are a good sign!!!

Apart from the sickness, I'm doing really well. I had my last appointment with the clinic on Monday and saw the twins swimming about. They are 3cm long now and look like babies. In fact baby A did a somersault and kicked baby B in the back of the head right there on the screen! looks like I'm going to have a troublesome one!! Blood clot is still there but it no longer seems to be affecting the twins so I'm very happy. I'm looking forward to hearing all your stories of fat tummies and morning sickness bery soon!!

Sonia Hi hun...i had the same problem with ths cycle as since jan of this year not really had a real period just lighht bleeding intermitently...so i asked to go on gyno recommendation progesterone for pre cycle tmt to regulate...and it worked. We all knoe stress effects cycle ass well ass wayward hormones...I would se gyno ASAP and get meds to regulate, hen your mind is at peace( instead of peices ( ha!!ha!!!))...good luck hun x x will add your dates on the update list x x

Went for scan this morn and lining is 4.2mm was worried but '1st lady' said it was ok as hers was same at day...thanks for that jen1 putting my mind at rest when it's your test day!!! anway phoned Im who got back to me really quickly for bank hols and they want me to have another scan on Monday!!!! Bl***min typical that i have to go through the tyrant of the nhs again to book a scan. Phoned them and managed to get an aux nurse who said i was still down for monday so all still okay...Whew life aint trouble free is it...anyway all worked out ok in the end... Fingers crossed we get the go ahead the end of next week beginning of week after...i have changed my ticker to an approx ET date to give me some countdown and some Hope that the ET day will come !!!!!

Unfortunately after 5 bfn's its getting to be a routine and we just expect the worse. That way if good news comes back then its a bonus.

How is everyone else doing?

I had my ER yesterday and they ended up getting 5 eggs (4 mature and 1 immature). So, I got my call today to tell me that 3 have fertilized. We are transferring 2 on Sunday and then the remaining one they are going to freeze today, thaw on Sunday and transfer on Tuesday (if it makes it). I am really hoping that all 3 get to a good stage by the time they are to be transferred. We ended up using donor sperm on all of them so hopefully that improves our success rate!

Hope everyone has a great weekend! We are heading up to the cottage to help my parents chop wood - my last bit of physical effort for the next two weeks. Not sure when my test date will be - October 29 or 30th I would guess.
