Hello, I am new to this board. Let me explain a bit about myself and my story. I am 25 years old. My husband and I have been trying to conceive for over 3 years. All along we thought that my husband had infertility issues since he had a Vasectomy in his previous marriage, and of course we had that reversed. With no success, a year later we sought out a fertility clinic and started treatment. We started with an IUI (artificial Insemination) no success, so we proceeded to have my eggs retrieved and his sperm... and embryos were made and have been frozen. We have done 2 In-Vitro procedures with no success. So last month, I started having severe pain and a fever. So I went to the Dr. and they thought I may have endometreosis. So they performed a Laparoscopy Oct. 3 and found that indeed I had Endometreosis on my right ovary, in which they removed the adhesions. I am recovering OK, however I have a sharp pain in my left ovary. Like a cramping. My menses will start around Oct. 19 or so. I am just wondering if anyone has had a similar issue and has become pregnant after all of this. I don't see my for another week, and we will go over our next step. Probably another In-Vitro. My frozen embryos are almost gone. I have about 5 left. Then that is it we have no more eggs stored or sperm. I have been through so much and am beyond devastated by all of this. I don't know why the Dr. didn't find this sooner. I am assuming this could be a factor of the infertility. I still don't know that much about Endometreosis and what to expect from this point on! Any help or advice would be so appreciated! I just wish that I could become pregnant!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
It's such a frustrating journey infertility, and so much is left unexplained. The best we can to is continue the journey and keep learning about our own bodies.
I have known women who once having had the Endometreosis delt with, managed to fall pg naturally, so there is hope. Having 5 eggs on ice is really great, remember it only takes one.
Just remember to look after yourself and DH. Don't lose sight of yourselves, it's easy to do when faced with sad and negative news.
I hope it all works out for you. Treat yourself on those really low days.

talisen_cat,
Thanks so much, this is the nicest helpful thing that anyone has ever said to me. I have felt so alone and your kind words really mean alot to me. Reaching out to offer your support to others is wonderful of you to do!
God Bless You and I wish you the best of luck with your journey and that you will have your lovely little bundle of joy soon Sometimes it takes a while to get what we want, but the wait is well worth it
Your most welcome. I found my first 2 cycles were like wandering through a wild wilderness.
There is so much information out there that it can get very confusing. If I have learnt anything, it's that, what works for one person doesn't always work for another. I have learnt to trust my own instincts and to definately listen to my own body more.
Good luck with the journey and thanks for the well wishes.
It helps to join a thread with ladies stimming at the same time as you, they know exactly what your going through, and can be great when you need a vent or a humorous view on the ay to day stuff.
