my update at 36 1/2 wks

Hi girls Just to let everyone know, I went for my last growth scan on Thursday and twins are both ok, although growth of smallest one is just tailing off the bottom line of the graph, they estimated weights at 5lb 1 and 7 lb 4 now so by the time they're delivered they should be a bit more. Twin 1 is still breech so definately need a section even if it hadn't been planned. They've given me a date for my c.section for Monday 6th which is a week later than I thought so I was a bit disappointed. I'm just so uncomfortable and got so many aches and pains now, I want it all over with now! Going in on Monday for monitoring of twins to make sure they both seem happy and then in for pre-op stuff Friday and then it's all go for a week on Monday (if babies wait that long!). Can't wait now to end this pregnancy and meet my babies at last! Will they be boys, girls or one of each????? Hopefully hubby will post our news while I'm in hospital if he can work out how to! Oh Rachel, that's fantastic news. A big well done to you!!

You've done so well to get this far and they seem to be a really good weight. They are making you wait a little bit longer before you get to meet them by the sounds of it. Wonder if the babies will want to wait that long???? Keep us posted on progress. Take care of yourself. Helen xx

Hi Rachel It sounds like your two are good weights and doing well. I know that it seems like ages till the caesarean but I found that once I had my date, it all speeded up a bit and I wasn't quite so uncomfortable 'cos I knew I'd be meeting my little angels soon. I'm looking forward to hearing your news when they arrive; should we place bets on boys/girls or one of each?! Take care of you and those bubbas. Jules

Hi Rachel, I am really glad that all is well and that both twinies are doing great. (That's a lot of weight you are carrying in total- 12lb 5- phew..no wonder you are getting impatient and uncomfortable!) So 6th October....that's only 8 days time!!!!!! you must be so excited!!! Make sure your dh updates us as we will all be gagging to know how it goes and whether you have boys or girls or both! Take care and enjoy the last week or so resting, as once those little darlings come into the world you probably won't get much rest at all!!! Take care of you all, lots of love Kirsty xx
