Hello everyone! Just arrived home from my ET. Everything went smooth. Doc transferred 2 pretty/handsome embies. Pregnancy test is Monday, October 29th. Wishing for a POSITIVE......Good luck to all on your journey. You are in my thoughts.

Hi baby08, I have edited your new info into the previous post. Here's a big cheers and well wishes for your embies. How exciting. What will you get up to on the 2ww? Any plans?


How are others faring/fared with the stims? Being a poor ersponder, I am a little worried. I didn't get many side effects from the meds last time, even when I got 10 eggs (only 1 perfect Blast at the end though).

If you experienced any side effects (bloatedness, mood changes etc) on what day did you notice them manifesting.

Gosh - I never analyse my body and moods so carefully except when on a cycle. This process certainly is enough to send you cuckoo . I also find that I crave the caffine and alcohol so much more, when I can't have any of their calming, theraputic effects arh!

talisen hi hun added my own stuff to list and thanks for editing baby08's 2ww x x I know whay you mean about anylising your body...my emotions become totally pickled and end up crying over nothing!!!! My aches and pains in my bod bring on whats that??? what does that mean??? and end up worrying about it...silly eh!!! At the momemt i have light crams with the eostrogen patches i am on. they are to build the lining up so obviously cramps may be that but i am worrying incse Af comes ??? silly me eh!!!! anyway to rest my mind i am emailing clinic today for reassurance x x

kelly hope your little ones are A okay and 1 is being transfered at the moment x x God bless and let us know how you get on x x 1 embie on board and 2ww is here x x x

had a lazy one today...a long walk on the beach with the dog and DH then a bunch at beach cafe while reading the sunday papers...i Love Sundays...best bit is that i am in work Monday then off for 3 weeks x x wooo-hooooooooooo....have a ascan tomorrow and then to hone clinc about next steps ...hope they can tell me about when my Et will be now !!!!

Sunday now and I am feeling blah. Have felt BLOATED since ER and no energy. Started the Progestrone shots and my butt is sore., only 2 down and many more to go. Baby wishes to all!

Congrat Baby08 on your great transfer. I too have been feeling very bloated since my ER - my stomach and been painful to touch. I can't imagine it is OHSS since I only got 5 eggs but what else could it be?

Princess and Talisen_cat - hope the shots are going well!!! You are getting so close now.

Hi to everyone else!!! Hope you are all doing well!

I just got back from my ET and they transfer two embies today. They were 'a bit slow' - 4 cell - but they said that they were grade 1 and not to worry about it... they'll catch up. They told me that ICSI embies often lag slightly behind so I am hopeful. I may post on the general forum to get some positive 4 cell stories!

Then about 5 mins ago the lab called to tell me that my one embie that they are transferring on Tuesday survived the thaw today and is looking great. I am so relieved!!! So, by tuesday I'll have 3 on board! I am hoping and praying that this is lucky number 7 for us!

Not much planned for the 2ww - movies and evening activities to keep me busy! Usualy the first week is a breeze and the second week is painfully slow!

Had a great weekend up at the cottage. It was cool but the sun was shining so it was a nice way to spend Fri evening and Saturday!

Thinking of all of you and hoping for an October and November full of BFP!!!

How are the rest of you ladies doing, is stimming going okay?

Tomorrow I see my RE so I should be taking my last bcp. Then on to lupron on Thursday.I am with yu guys on the analyticalpart of these cycles. I always ask my dh if he thinks I'm "moody". If he knows whats good for him he will say I am like a ray of sunshine .

Anyhow, I hope you are all having a nice weekend. My dh and I went out with some friends last night. We figured it to be our last hurrah for the next 9 months. Hopefully the next 9 omnths for all of us.

Had my U/S today, b/d on 18th and 19th. FET most likely early next week. Tomorrow is my last day at work, THANK GOD ...I decided to take 1.5 weeks off for this cycle. I need to mentally prepare myself this time and TRY to relax.. Staying hopeful...

Some of you has been mentioning on ER just want to make sure is the same thing.

Hello everyone! Happy Monday. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm excited to see so many of you doing the retrievals and transfers already.

For everyone-Are you taking time off of work after the transfer? My doc said it's okay to return to work because i sit at a desk all day but I have a stressful job. Any suggestions?

I had my first lupron last night. DH did it and i didnt even feel it! I iced it down for about 7 minutes before.

I am taking time off before and after ET...just that i find the stress of it all difficult and my job is very emotional. so best for me to lay low 1st week of 2ww...others find it good to work...but i prefere to laze about read and go gentle walks, hoping the embies embed better without stress x x

Anie Ec ( egg collection) and ER ( egg retrieval) are same thing. In uk its mainly EC and in US its ER... When is AF due ???? Should we be jigging for ya???

Hopeful you are so right to look after you...good luck with FET...are you on any meds prior or just a natural FET??? we shall be ( hopefully on my part) on 2ww together Good luck x x

well my scan today showed lining at 7.1mm and IM( clinic) says i am good to go...but waiting on news of the donor which should come any day now. just gotta then book flights hotels, acu for pre- post ET and book kennels for my dog x x

Anie-I can't believe I'm saying this but I hope a/f comes soon! You need to get those stims going.

I agree with Jenbabes, take some time off. Even if you sit all day stress can still get to you. I will be taking the day before the transfer off to do some acupunture, then RE recommends 48 hrs bed rest, so I will do that and just take an extra day off to relax.

but for now, I just took my last bcp! WAAAAHOOOOOO!!!!I am scheduled for my first b/w on Monday the 22nd.

jen babes - wanted to ask a question about accu.

I only done it once before and want to give it a go this cycle. Which dates would you recommend I mean how many days before ET?

BTW - Im doing natural FET cycle this time, judging from prev result I think my body doesnt handle drugs very well ...so I decided to go as natural as I can this time. Hoping for better results.

PrincessB - I agree with the ladies. Take some time off if you can, esp if your job is stressful. Speaking of which I'm officially on holidays as of now.... AAAAAHH got few more tests before FET date is confirmed....
