1st Scan today and 1st post on the 'other side'!

Hi Everyone, I got a positive test result back on 11th September, but haven't felt brave enough until now to post on this side as I didn't want to tempt fate! Well, we went for our first scan today and found out we're having TWINS!!! DH and I are over the moon, we really can't believe it! I've been so poorly and sick since the day after I found out I was pregnant, I couldn't understand why I was getting pregnancy symptoms so early. Well at least it explains it now as they say it's double with twins!!! Hope you don't mind me joining you all on this side, but I don't feel so much of a fraud now!! Lots of love, Jo xx

Congratulations Jo and DH How fantastic that you're having twins!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Enjoy every moment. Saw on the other side that you've got piccies - wait until your 12 week scan - the change is incredible! but in the meantime, enjoy gazing at the piccies you have. Feet up and rest now!!! Congratulations Jo! What wonderful news! I am just a couple of weeks behind you, go for my first scan on the 16th. I am also having very early symptoms. I don't post much either since I haven't had my first scan yet, but hopefully we'll be chatting for the next 9 months about being pregnant with twins! Rest, rest, rest! Val

Hi Jo, Many congratulations!! Twins too...I am very happy for you and your dh. Glad the scan went well..it's great looking at the little heartbeats isn't it? Enjoy your pregnancy! Lots of love Kirsty x

Congratulations Jo ..... fantastic news, and twins too - there's loads of Mums with and expecting twins on this side so you'll have plenty of company all the way through, dont worry. Sorry you're having symptoms so early - my sickness didnt start til about week 5 and has just gone (16wks) so I'm very grateful but just keep thinking when you're feeling grotty how wonderful it all is - this will help you to get through it I'm sure. Jo what fantastic news - you must be over the moon! I highly recommend being pregnant with twins! I'm now 33 weeks and have got along just fine - hopefully you'll be the same. Keep us posted and take care of yourself. Helen xx
