I'm back. Went for a final scan and they found 4 follies instead of 3! You can imagine how happy I am even though just 1 folly appeared after the 2nd type of FSH. They are growing well measuring average 19mm. E3 at 1786 pg/mL. Is this high or low?? Taking the HCG jab tonight at 10 pm sharp. Anyone have any idea if the jab will trigger OHSS? Now already experiencing some bloatedness.
One question - do you take HCG 24 hours after your last FSH? I had FSH at 9.15 am today and RE said to take HCG at 10.00 pm sharp tonight. I read the package leaflet and it says 24-48 hours thereafter!! Who is right now?
Sorry... I have so many questions in my mind now. I always cannot remember all the questions that I would want to ask when I'm at the clinic. Too nervous I guess...

Congrats on the 4 follies - that is awesome!
The HCG shot is taken 24-48 hours before ER. I have never heard that your last stims shot needs to be 24-48 before your HCG shot. I have now done this 7 times and some of the time I took my stims shots in the morning and some at night. For the evening injections, my last stims were approximately 24 hours before the trigger, but my morning ones were on the same day of the trigger. You have nothing to worry about. The important thing is that you trigger when they tell you because that affects your ER.
Well, I go in for my 2nd transfer today. My embie is looking really good according to my update yesterday so I am hopeful that one of the little ones will stick!

kelly no not heard a peep from them today...but as i am off work i have been lazying about reading and enjoying sunny walks with the dog in the forest x x i am loving this time chilling and feel very relaxed even tho ET is around the corner....how are you on 2ww???

Hello all,
I have been feeling terrible since Sunday morning. Had the transfer on Saturday and boy have I been sore. I couldn't move for like 2 days, super bloated, super sore stomach. Have also had the upset stomach for 3 days now too. Ugh. It's been rough. Since this is my first cycle, I do not know if this is normal but I did hear from a fellow ivf'er that she, too, felt similar symptoms. The prog shots have been giving me a fit, I called the doc today to see if I can be switched to the suppositories. My protocol is 2 weeks of them in the butt muscle and then if I am pregnant, 8 more weeks of them. I don't think my tush can handle it. so hopefully suppositories will be the answer.
Kellym, I hope all went well with your transfer. Looks like we will be receiving our baby news right around the same time. My appt is 10/29. How are you feeling now? How's your shots. I have no idea how you have done so many cycles, God Bless You and I truely hope this cycle gives you your miracle. I felt as if I had a great cycle but the past week has really knocked my down.

Baby08, hang in there hun! The 2ww is always the worst! I can't relate with you about the shots because I've always been given the suppositories. They are so much easier, but with them I worry that the progesterone isn't getting absorbed well enough (no basis for that belief, just paranoia). But I've heard the shots are tough.
I did have a super sore and bloated stomach after ER until the day after my ET so hopefully you are starting to feel better.
I am actually feeling fine. The first week is usually pretty good for me and then next week is when I start to crumble.

Tomorrow I start the microdose lupron. When I went to my RE appt on Monday she said HCG trigger most likely on 10/29 the ER on 10/31. So we will see. I start Follistem on Saturday and have my first b/w on Monday 10/22. That's all for me right now.

well i got the call today with both Good news and bad news...
BAD news is that our donor has withdrawn...and back up donor is way way behind
Good news is i can use another PROVEN donor with differant blood group but same eye colour and hair colour who is just out of EC
so the choice is
1 start tmt all agin and wait for blood related donor
or 2 go with proven donor and have to tell medics that chiild has differant blood group
asked if the blood cgroup thing would effect me carrying child ( ie reseus neg factor) but this wont be a problem.
so after about a 5 minute debate with our consultnt on the other end of the phone we decided to just go with the flow and use the proven and ready donor xxxxxxxxxxxx Think that sometimes things just happen a certain way for a certain reson and just trust and Faith that it is meant to be . So at this moment we are sortingout flights hotels and dog kennels...difficult as all are fully booked because of school holidays ...
eventually sorted flight tomorrow from edinburgh to Barcelona and fly back monday night. so need to leave here for a 3 hour drive before staying at friends tonight x x
Hotel is becoming a problem as prices are sky high
anyway we will keep trying...will be off the boards until tuesday but will post when on my 2ww when i get back

Okay, i started lupron on the 14th thinking that it was the 21st!!! So ive been taking lupron for 4 days that i wasnt supposed to.
The good news is that they are just going to move me up a week! yay! But still, who screws up by a whole week like this? I'm not a scatter brained type person. Jeeez.
Now my retrieval is scheduled for the 6th of November!

Nothing new with me. the 2ww is still going well and the first week is passing quickly which is great!
PrincessB-we are pretty close My transfer will be between the 3rd and the 5th of Nov. So we are just a few days off. When do you start stimms?-Babydust!
Jenbabes-hope all goes well with the donor and transfer you will be in my thoughts. I am sort of in the same boat with the blood family. I am A- so if I get my BFP (fingers crossed) I will need the Rhogam shot. Good Luck and babydust!

Back from ER and it's not too bad except a little groggy yesterday. Today is much better. RE retrieved 2 eggs only from the 4 follies..... Do not know the quality and hopefully all got fertilized. My clinic does not give you a ring on the status. We just have to be at the clinic tomorrow for ET.
The progesterone jab sounds scarry. Luckily I'm on the suppositories.. Just had one this morning and I had to lie down for 2 hours. It's not easy to lie down straight because I don't sleep that way..
I have to be off from this forum for a few days starting tomorrow. Hopefully able to get online with your gals soon.
