I can't believe how many twins are in the air! Congrats wantinglilones & Lindsey. I think it is fantastic news!!!!!! I am now 6wks 4 days. Can't wait until my next ultrasound on 10/22. Saw both HBS, but of course, want to see them again and again and again.

Ready4baby:I absolutely want to know the sex!!!! Need to go shopping. I must confess, while I'll be happy whatever the outcome, I'm hoping for at least one little girl. It is so important for me and my DH to share our beloved daughter's things with her sister(s). Ideally, one boy and one girl, but it is out of our hands. Most importantly, I pray for 2 healthy ones!

Congrats Christie76 and Keddie. I saw 2 strong hbs, but RE didn't give us a rate. I'll have to ask about this next time.

Getting REALLY SICK of my prego diet (4 weeks now). No refined sugar at all and only complex carbs (whole grain bread, brown rice, etc. -- no potato, pasta (unless quinoia), corn . . .). Not feeling like meat these days, but doing my best to be healthy for the twins. I sure could use a big bite of chocolate cake though!

No MS yet (thank god). BUT, still very tired and my back hurts. Also, started getting a couple of migraine headaches --- very worried about these since I suffer from them and can't take a thing during pregnancy. Nasal passages are all f#$%! up. What else . . . Just want to get through this first trimester.

Health to all babies and their moms.

What a great turn out for this message board! I am so thrilled for all of you/us!

Congrats wantinglilones & Lindsey!!!

I'm not sure if it's morning sickness, but I do feel queasy every morning and even in the late afternoon.

I tried to move my ultrasound up, but they have nothing available until my scheduled date, the 18th.... Sigh!

I can't wait to tell you guys all about it!

Any one else with twins worry about the whole "vanishing twins" effect?
how common is this? i don't know why but the last couple days i've been worrying about this even though i have no symptoms to suggest it.

no morning sickness (so far) but then again i'm only 6weeks pregnant.

i have my next u/s Monday morning so i'm just trying not to think about anything negative - lots of PMA - until then. i just want to hear their hb's and hear from the doctor that everything looks and will be okay.

sorry for my lil stress out moment.

more good news on Monday!!!

love to all the mamas.

Wantinglilones: No, you are not alone in fearing the vanishing twin. I thought with 745 beta that I would be having trips and when I saw 2, I wondered if the 3rd vanished. NOW, I'm worried sick about my twins. I have no symptoms to alarm me, we saw 2 strong hbs at 6 weeks and my betas were high. So why am I still worried sick?! Have my 8w us on 10/22 -- need to see 2 hbs again to reassure me (10/22 also happens to be my 1st wedding anniversary so it will be the perfect gift to me and DH). Trying to stay positive.

I have no MS either (now 7weeks) and I'm very happy about this fact. I am extremely tired all the time though.

Keep me posted on the U/S

Christie: CONGRATS! That is a really high beta. Can't wait to hear the update.

Ready4baby-- Looking forward to hearing the results of your US too.

HI Girls,

Sounds like everyone is hanging in there... I go in for my second US on Oct. 25th, it will be my 8 week appointment they want to see a stronger heartbeat. The last one we saw it but it was pretty faint...they didn't do a third beta test though cause they said the US looked good they didn't feel like they needed another blood test. I can't wait til the 25th! Question: Do any of you know if they would be able to tell the sex of the baby at a 12 week US? I have one scheduled with my Regular OBGYN on NOvember 20th which would make me almost 12 weeks but I'm thinking that still might be too early to tell....

Lisa, good luck w/ your US today!

I have had MS once pretty bad and stayed home from work til about 11 a.m. but after that I've only had mild queezyness on and off. I am continuously nibbling to try to keep the feeling away!

BabyB, glad to hear everything is going well. When is your due date? Mine is 6/6/07...I'm thinking we could be close although you will probably go before me since you have twins...

Went for my 2nd beta and it was 3363. I believe I'm 21 dpo. I have my first u/s on 10/24. I can't wait to see how many are in there. It still doesn't feel real to me yet. I keep forgetting I'm prego. It's like we are talking about someone else. I wonder when it will sink in? How do we figure our due date? Is it based on ER? I think I'm due 6/16/08, but I'm not sure. She said I'd find out at my first u/s. How is everyone else doing? This whole thing is so surreal for me right now. I'm just trying to enjoy every second.

Hey ladies,

I had my second ultrasound today (I am 6wks 5 days) and things are still looking great for our little beans. They were just flashing away on the screen. We didn't get to hear the hearbeats but we could definately see them. It was very nice. I was getting extremely stressed out that something was going to have happened to one of them over this past wk but am feeling much better now. My next u/s will be 10/23 (7 wks 6 days) and I can't wait. Today the tech mentioned something about them doing a 3D ultrasound either this coming week or the week after that...that sounds exciting.

I am glad to hear you ladies are doing well. I am suprised at how many twins are on the June board. It is fantastic!

I will catch up more later but I am exhausted and heading to bed!

Hey girls! i have been MIA lately-but havent been around much, i do get on to make sure everyone is doing well and catch up on you all every now and then when im home, but i havent been posting much. Im feeling pretty good-no symptoms really at all, i have a hard time finding what sounds good to eat right now....but then find that i reeeeallly like it when i do : ) hehehe....
I go back on the 23rd for my 8 week u/s and I cant even wait! I mean, i know i have to but i think its gonna get the best of me. I just need to stay off the internet bc i read certain stories that get me all "worked up" into thinkin that im gonna lose this one. I just feel like there will always be a worry, but i really need to concentrate on enjoying this time, and know that its outta my hands-so i know i need to stay positive-however....i think we all know thats way easier said than done-
Just random cramping/twinges/pulling going on right now....do any of you get sharp pains (call me crazy?) in your butt like down your leg sometimes?? Ive gotten that a couple of times, but i think its when im doing something for too long-if i am walking too long, or sitting for too long??? I dont know, hope some others know what im talking about! : ) Ok, hope everyone is sooooo good and our little beans keep growing and growing!

Hey ladies! I am getting a little worried about my appetite! I know I am "eating for two" or maybe even 3! But, I just want to eat all the time! This can't be good! I may gain 100 pounds in next 9 months! I can't wait for my ultrasound on Thursday! I think that's when it will be reality for me! I have been feeling a little nauseous. I haven't been sick, but I feel yucky everyday.

Hope all is well with everyone!

hi everyone!
well i am feeling much better after the u/s yesterday.
saw both sacs w/yolks -- together they looked like a jack o'latern! So cute!!!
Both pumpkins (hehe) are growing well and we could see the heart flutter on each one.
Next Monday we should be able to hear the hb's.
Doctor said that by week 9 there should no more concern about any chance of a vanishing twin. And usually they can see if one may vanish, but he felt that both of mine were looking equally strong right now. i got a good night sleep last night. :-) Next u/s is 10/22.

Hey meggs - i also have had some cramping/pains in my lower abdomen but nothing on the tush. instead my progesterone oil shots have been making my tush itch like crazy. Sorry for tmi.

i've got the opposite with food - i get full really quick which is good cuz i am trying to keep my weight gain in check as i'm already a bit fluffy as it is. :-) No MS so far but I am getting tired in the afternoons. Not the worst symptom to have.

christie - i am right there with you, not a lot of symptoms so i keep forgetting that i'm preggo.

kelly - let me know if you can get a sex confirmation by week 12. i've heard that i have to wait until week 16...and i'm dying to find out!

babyb - thanks for the support, really needed it last week! :-) Hope all is well with you . Is your "prego diet" doctor imposed or something you put together?

Hope everyone has a great week - can't wait to hear how you are all doing.

I am so jealous of your u/s. I can't wait for mine. I'm dying to see how many are in there. When can you hear the heartbeat? I thought it was so much further along. That will be the most amazing sound ever. I'm still not really having any symptoms. Every so often, I get that mild cramping and my bb's are sore when I get out of bed. That's about it. I'm not complaining. I wish that I felt more, though. Until I have the u/s and they tell me everything is ok, I won't relax. Only 1 more week to go. It's going to go by so slowly.
