MARGARITAVILLE

Post by albany07 »

Hello girls! Yes, the margarita's must be to thank! Got AF yesterday. Yay!!!! I thought I was placed in a permanant menopause or something! I have never been so happy about AF in my life!

Melanie - sorry to hear the news. Just know - you will succeed!!!! Go for a nice long massage and get your nails done. A big heartfelt (((((hug))))) coming your way!!!

Christie - I wonder if it's 2 or 3 ???? Surely does not sound like a singleton.

Donnell - Hello and it was sure nice to hear from you. Hope all is well. I know and can relate to feeling unsure about posting and what... and if you belong. Do what is in your heart. This does bring about a great question...

Who stays on... Who leaves and when? Do bfp's go to other boards? Do bfn's go or stay? Does our board die? Or, do we keep it going?

My purpose in staying is mainly due to my process in letting go and seeing all BFP's off to a wonderful long pregnancy!!! I have created a bond with many of you and thank you for all the support you have given me. I know I am falling out of the IVF process for at least the next 3 months or more.

Thanks to all and baby dust all around the good sticky stuff!!!

Hi everyone, I haven't logged on in a few days, and have just read through some of the old posts - thanks to everyone who offered support to me. Well, today is day 11 of the 2ww, infact at the clinic I go to it is a 16-day wait. I'm trying to hang in there but it's not easy.

carolina1girl1 - sorry for your disappointment and I hope that you can harness the strength in yourself to overcome it and keep going. - That is how I try and keep going.

Well done to all those BFPs - only people on this board know how much each and every one of us appreciate the strength and endurance it takes to get there, be it a BFP or a BFN.

For those of you still waiting let's all bite a collective finger-nail!

Hi Girls,

Sorry I haven't posted in a while, yesterday I had some bleeding and this morning too. I called my coordinator and doctor on-call last night and they told me to go for another beta test this morning to make sure my numbers are ok.

Has anyone else had this? I'm afraid...I wish they'd call back. I'm 7 weeks this week.

Hi Everyone, Sorry i've been MIA just needed some time. After our cancelled cycle we were thinking maybe we had a miracle natural BFP, I was having so many symptoms but it just wasn't meant to be AF arrived. I have started Micro-Lupron this month went for my u/s yesterday, I have one large cyst so now were waiting on the blood work (FSH) levels to decide if we will continue or have another cancelled cycle before we even get started. So we'll be sitting by the phone again today waiting for the doctor to give us the ok or to cancel again this month.

Keddie- Don't worry there are lots of woman who have bleeding during pregnancy.

Carolina Girl -I'm so sorry! your time will come. Do something special and pamper yourself while your waiting. I'll be praying for your and your DH.

Lots of Sticky Baby dust to All!!

Thanks for the well wishes, I finally got a call back about my bleeding and my blood test and they said my beta number was still on track, that I may still have some bleeding but it shouldn't last much longer.

Thank goodness!

Hi girls~

Melanie, I am so, so sorry. I know what you are going through and this is so difficult. I am thinking of you. AF should show her ugly face soon. Were you on progesterone shots? With my chemical PG - once I stopped the shots - AF showed 5 days later.

Kelly ~ I am happy to hear that the beta is right on track and you are doing better. When do you go in for your U/S and what was your beta? Did they give you the number?

Ingrid ~ Isn't it funny when we pray for AF to show. I was so happy when I got her - just because I wanted it over. Now I am just on BCP waiting - waiting for go in for my consult. Plus since it has been a year - I had to have labs on my FSH and Prolactin again. They already have the results but the doc is on vaca this week - so I have to wait. I hope it hasn't went up too high. We are always worrying about something - aren't we?

Christie ~ Your numbers sound wonderful. I briefly figured out your numbers and they are looking really good - based on doubling you would have been 105 at 11dpo, which typical numbers at 10dpo is around 20 or so. I am still wondering how many you have in there??? Can't wait to see!

Everyone else - sorry if I missed you. Hope everyone is doing well.

Donnell, SO good to hear from you! Will you be starting a cycle soon? I'm not sure where you are right now. I've been trying to keep up with everyone though.

They said my beta was over 109,000 and I'm 7 weeks (does that sound right?) I have no idea...just that they said it was a good number.

I go in for my next us on the 25th (next Thursday) one more week! for my 8 week one. That will be IT for my specialist if they see a strong heartbeat. In one way I will be so glad to move on to my regular doctor but in another way I will be sad to leave these doctors and their staff. They have been so wonderful and attentive to me thru this whole ordeal. I'm not expecting that from my OBGYN. Her office staff is HORRIBLE. At least they were when I was trying to get pregnant with them before going to my specialist. I almost thought about switching doctors but I'm going to give them one more try.

Tilly, so sorry to hear about AF showing up. :( Have you heard anything yet about your cyst?? Oh I really hope it's nothing and you can continue with your cycle! :) Hang in there!

The phone call finally arrived late yesterday. The cyst was large but my FSH was at 6.7 which the Dr. says is perfect so they are giving me the go ahead to start stimming. They have changed my meds a little this cycle hopeing for follies. I started Micro-Lupron twice a day yesterday and start Menopure and 450 of Gonal F tonight, u/s on Monday. I'm praying for more follies.

Keddie- Those sound like great numbers.

Donnell- It's great to hear from you

All those I missed-Hopeing for BFP for all.

wondering if anyone has ever seen this before... i had my blood test done 13 days after et on monday 10-15, and it was negative. but i have taken 5 hpt's which were all positive.. on 10- 10, 12, 14, 17 and 18. first one was very faint but all are getting darker. it's been 22 days since i took trigger shot so i don't think thats it .. called re and she is out of town until next week sometime made my failed ivf appointment for 11-6. so still confused called family doctor and went in this morning and did pee test and came back positive (very quickly) she said congratulations! ~~~~ HUMMM.. so we had them do another blood test and will get results back tomorrow. but after re told me negative she made me stop all meds, so i have not taken anything since sunday.. going to try to post link to my hpt pictures. i really don't know whats going on. thanks!!!

girls sorry to crash your board, but wanted to answer to Melanie.......From what you are saying here, it seems like your RE's blood test must have been a mistake, I would call again, there should be someone covering for your RE, and have them repeat the HCG and also run some progesterone in the lab to see what are the levels, you might probably need to go back to your meds, so if I were you I would call them ASAP.
GOOD LUCK!!!!!

melanie, I think so too. You should definately get another blood draw. I bet you it is positive. You will probably have to get on progesterone. That is really strange. Wonder if they could have mixed your sample with someones (scary thought!!!!)

Good luck!! I hope your test comes back positive!

Melanie,
That is crazy. Those tests are definitely +. There is no questioning that. They must have made a mistake. Did they tell you what your beta # was? I would call whoever is on call and get another blood test asap. Explain to them what is going on. You'll want to make sure you get back on the progesterone. You poor thing. I can't believe you had to go through this. Let us know what happens.
