Nictor...ooh, have fun in Madrid! That sounds incredible....

Colleen, I'm sorry that Gavin is so unpredictable. good luck....I wish we had a magic answer for ya.

Tasha--Have fun at the concert! Is David Lee back in the lead singer spot? I haven't heard...

Well, I pulled out the exersaucer this morning! Ellie was very interested in it! Braeden only wanted to be in it for 5 minutes or so. That surprised me because Braeden is my wiggle worm. However, he was getting hungry, so maybe that's why he didn't want to deal with it then. I'll try again later. We've got it on the lowest setting, and I could try some blankets to help keep them more stable. We'll wait a little while on the jumparoo. Our house is so small with all these baby toys in it! And, we have to get our home ready for visitors this weekend. The kids are getting baptized on Sunday. I'm not sure where I'm going to stash all the baby crappola while our family is here....eeek!

To all you girls reading posts, hello! Drop us a line when you get a chance!

Hey Ladies!!

Jaden has been keeping me busy!!! We went and applied for his SS# on Monday. On Tuesday we went to the Dr  and had 2 shots! Poor thing! He was so good though! The nurses gave him a sucker and that made it all better! Since we were out we went shopping for some clothes and went to Wal-Mart!! Today I went and filled out paper work to officially change his 1st name. When you adopt in Guatemala they issue the birth certificate with his birth name and our last name, and if you want a different first name you have to change it once home. I will have to go to court on Monday for that one and I am a little nervous about it!!!

Crap something is wrong and I can't scroll back through everyone's posts while I type mine... I will have to do it later. These are the ones I remember... Kim have a wonderful time with your family and I totally get living with all of the 'toys', don't worry that just keep getting bigger and more of them! LOL!! Nictor, have a wonderful trip!!! It sounds like Jack is doing so well!!!

Keep posting those pictures I love seeing the pictures!!! I have been updating my blog with pictures... http://jadenfamilia.blogspot.com

Hope you all are doing well...

Has anyone heard from Rachel?? I have been wondering how Makayla has been doing...

Take care!

Good Morning Ladies....

Well I'm not doing so good... we went to the concert Tuesday night and had to leave early because I wasn't feeling well. We got home and I was throwing up all night long (blood). So my DH took me to the doctor yesterday and the doctor did some blood tests and says my iron is very low so he has put me on a prescription vitamin - hopefully this will help. I still can't seem to keep anything down... I've actually lost 5 pounds since Tuesday and feel very very weak. Hopefully I start to gain some of my energy back very soon... thank god my DH is a huge help when it comes to Aubrey.

Jeck- I'm so glad to hear your back and that things are going smoothly... good luck with all the paperwork and please keep us posted.

Kim- Yes David Lee Roth is the lead singer again and he was terrible.... what waste of money that was. Well good luck with the Christening this weekend - I hear ya on the no room w/ all the toys. We're in a townhouse right now and we have already run out of storage space. Hopefully we'll be in our new place by next Spring.

Nicole- sounds like Jack is doing great... also I'm so jealous your going to Madrid - have a wonderful time.

Well I hope the rest of you ladies are doing well... please drop us a note when you can.

Tasha

Jeck- so pleased to hear you are home with your son. Hope you are enjoying every moment and that you get the paper work and name situation sorted soon.

Tasha- Sorry to hear your not feeling well. Sounds pretty bad and hoping you soon recover. Glad that DH is so good, will make your recovery quicker.

Kim- Enjoy the christening sure it will be busy but enjoyable!

Have had a horrible few days as DD has been really ill. She has croup and ?some infection as she keeps having a temp. Nightimes are awful, ended up at the out of hour doctors at 11pm last night as she was struggling to breathe. I've been up for 20 out of 24 hours the last few days. Can't wait for this to pass, hopefully not much longer. Been stuck in the house since Monday, but luckily Joshua has been really good.

Anyways hope all is well. Take care girls x

Tasha--Oh geez, how scary! I hope you're feeling better soon...did this come on all of a sudden? Take care of yourself. Sorry to hear that David Lee was a disappointment....that sucks!

CaseyP--I hope your daughter feels better soon and you get some sleep.

I'm off to clean the heck out of my house. I have to do it bits at a time. I swear there are some spots that have not been dusted since the babies were born....yuck!

Tasha ~ Please take care of yourself... I hope the iron fixes it! I am sure that was very scary! So glad your hubby is a great helper!!

Kim ~ I hate to tell you this but your guest are only interested in your babies and not your dust bunnies! LOL!!! Don't overdo it and enjoy having your family around! Breathe! Don't forget to post pictures! Our foster family is Catholic and they were so sweet to give me Jaden's christianing outfit! Priceless!

Casy ~ I hope DD is on the mend and that you are all able to get some much needed rest! HUGS!

Colleen ~ How is Gaving doing? I hope you both have been able to get some rest!

Jaden slept from 7p to 7a last night and it was so great!! Although I didn't sleep that great since I am so used to him waking up so much! Dang when you need them to sleep they don't and when the do you can't!!!

We went to get Jaden's TB test checked today and he is negative for TB! WooHoo!

Our church is having a meet and greet for Jaden on Sunday night! I can't wait for everyone to meet him. They have been so supportive during our process. We went last Sunday and stayed for announcements and singing and then left before the preaching so that Jaden could take his nap. One of our friends got up during the announcements and made and announcement about some project or another and then imagine our suprise when she announced their was a new face in the santuary our son Jaden... Michael and I both looked at one another and got teary eyed. The whole church turned and looked our way and started clapping.

Still getting used to the fact that he is home!!!

Have a great weekend and take care!!!

jeck- i'm so happy that you are finally home with your son.. church sounds great!! and glad that to hear that he is healthy, and getting all his shots... and a good sleeper... i could use a little of that now...

kim- good luck on the cleaning... try not to worry about it too much... i'm so glad that i'm done with the baptism... it was crazy, and can not imagine with two... gavin was so cute... he just let the pastor carry him around and as he announced him to the church he gave a huge smile, and cooed really loud... he was great!!.. i hear you about the dust.. i do not think that i've touched the basement since... DH usually does that anyway, as it's mostly his toy room.

casy- hope that DD is doing better... i hate croup... my older two managed to get it every year... last year we were in the hosptial with strider... what ever it's called that is the thing they get as croup gets really bad and can not breathe... hope that you get some sleep and everyone gets healthy!!!!!!!1

tasha- feeling better?? sorry that the concert stunk and on top of that you were not feeling good... i was a sammy fan anyway myself... thank goodness that your dh is a good help... take care of yourself!!

nicola- glad to hear that jack is doing well... and a trip by yourselves... i'm jealous... i trying to get gavin to take a bottle so i can have an hour or two by myself, let alone 3 days.... enjoy!!! as for a schedule... i'm there with you in not haveing one at all... not even the 6-8hours of sleep... we started the rice cereal yesterday, and he loved it... i just gave him a tiny amount, i'll try a little more tonight, and hopfully it will help him!!

rachael-hope that you and makayla are doing good!!

as for us... we are ok....still no schedule, but trying to have a few things that we do at the same time... slowly trying to do a schedule instead of all at once... maybe this way will work... he loves his cereal... he wanted more, but i just gave hime a tiny bit to see what he would do.. so i'm trying more tonight... maybe he'll sleep better... cross your fingers for me!!!!

well, take care all!!!! have a great weekend!!

Good Afternoon Girls-

Casy- I'm so sorry to hear that DD has croupe - hopefully she gets better very soon.

Kim- good luck with the Christening this weekend... I'm sure the little ones are going to look so precious.

Jeck- You brought a tear to my eye when you were talking about Jaden being announced in church... I'm so happy for you & DH that you finally have your baby and everything is settling nicely for you guys.

Colleen- well I'm glad that Gavin loves his cereal - Aubrey hates hers... she gags on it every time. Maybe she's just not ready yet.... we'll give it some time. Hopefully this will help Gavin sleep more at night for you... keep us posted.

Well we're doing good - I'm feeling about 90% better.... I think the iron pills are helping me - thank god. I just have to remember to take things slow and not run my body to the ground anymore - too many things on my plate at times. Well Aubrey is actually having her first overnight at my parents house Saturday night - I'm excited but sad at the same time... however, we're then all heading to the pumpkin farm on Sunday so that should be fun.

Have a nice weekend everyone... and Go BEARS!!!!!!

Jeck, you're sooo right...I'm sure my guests will not even notice the dust and dirt, but I will! I love your story about church, that's so neat that they are so supportive of your family. Are you Catholic? Just curious, since Jaden was already baptized in Guatemala...will you baptize him again here? Wasn't sure how that would work...

Tasha--I'm glad you're feeling better. As for cereal, we haven't started. My pediatrician is adamant about waiting until 6 months. We'll see if we make it that long!

No, I am baptist. Our foster family is Catholic and so is most of Guatemala. It just means a lot to me that our foster family had his done and she was thoughtful enough to give me his outfit... I just wished she would have took pictures... Oh well. I take what I can get!!!

Have a great weekend!!!!

Oh, his name is officially Jaden now!!! Got that changed yesterday too!!! Then this morning we had our 1st booboo.... He fell and hit his forehead and has a goose egg on it now! :( He seems to be fine though. I have watched him like a hawk all day!
