Eimear.....I am very sorry about your BFN, but as the rest of the girls told you, unfortunately for us, it is not as easy to get pg on the first IVF, for some it takes a couple of them, for others, like me, it takes more than that. But the important thing is to know that it will happen, either after #2 or after #10, but it will happen, I've seen way too many success stories (after no matter how many IVF's), what's important is too keep the faith, not to lose hope and keep trying!!!!!!. I wish you the best on your next try!!!!

Angie.....oh hon, I so understand the liner checking thing that you are talking about, I started with that on the second week as well, we are all crazy I guess . Hang in there, only a couple of days left until Thursday!!!!!!

Well, I had the blood drawn already, in a couple of hours I should be receiving "the phone call", even with positive HPT's I can't help to worry, oh well.......... , keep you guys posted!!!!

Kelly I'm doing ok and am afraid to do HPT I want to but have decided this time around not to. I am having cramps and sore bbs. How are you?

Hi Ladies, I have been following you all here as a silent reader, I had my Beta today & guess what ??? I received a BFP, I cant belive it...
my beta was 1041... Good luck to all of you who are testing today!!!

Me - 35 (Endo Stage 4)
1 IVF Jul - 3 - 8 celled- BFN
(changed clinics)
2 IVF Oct - 2 Blasts 1 Frozen
22 Oct - BFP!!! Beta 1041!!!!

Mybaby-Congrats!!!!!! So exciting!!!!!! I hope to be in your boat as well....1st time didn't work, but 2nd time is much easier!

Vicky....I have good feeling for you and am saying prayers for you RIGHT NOW!

Kelly....thank you! We are so excited and they even moved my bloodwork up a day early. Take note ladies....if you get a BFP on a HPT they will move your blood work up a day early!!! And I think we all know how exciting that is when you are on the 2WW! 24 hours earlier seems like an eternity in our worlds! Only you girls could understand that! I transferred 2 blasts on Day 5. I also wondered about the twin thing but then I know KHoltan and others who got a negative all the way until their Beta and they have twins, so who knows!

Eimear...I'm so so so sorry about your BFN. I know it is devestating and it takes a couple of weeks/month to shake it so take the time to heal. It's truly an emotional rollar coaster. However, keep the faith and hope alive because many of us get the BFN on the 1st try and have a successful transfer or 2nd try! I hope that will happen for you, as well.

So, now my Beta is on Thursday, Oct. 25 (a day earlier!).....

Vicky - congrats on the BFP!!! Don't worry about the number! Lots of women get low betas and end up with healthy babies. As I was told once, you are pregnant today so enjoy it!! Do you go back on Wed for your 2nd beta?

Mybaby - OMG, with that beta you must have multiples! I've never heard of a first beta of 1041.

Faithandhope - how great that you have one less day to wait!

Kimberli - glad that you are feeling good. I am feeling nothing these days which is fine with me. I usually start feeling AF coming on a few days early so feeling nothing will be great if this continues! My bbs are a little bit sore - like yesterday - but the cramping is gone.

Hi Kelly,
Yes I'm feeling ok just anxious. I went back to work today after being off all last week b/c of the transfer on Monday. I work with autistic children and didn't want to take any chances of interrupting implantation. Everyone at work was asking when I'll find out. Which now I feel more pressure. I'm just trying to relax and deal with the cramps. I feel as if AF is coming but I never get them this early. I get them the day of so I'm hoping its a good sign. My hubby hurt me bad last night with the po shot. I can barely sit on my one side. He must've hit the muscle!
I really want to do a HPT but don't. I keep saying no but part of me says do it. I have one leftover from last time as well and dont' want to waste anymore money on them.
Keep thinking positive. 6 days to go.

Just found this website, I am in the 2ww with PT on the 26th. I started spotting yesterday. This is my 2nd IVF and had BFN in June. Started spotting early with that one too. My PT that time was 14, BFN. Dr. of course says to stay on hormones but is very frustrating when I have a very good idea of the outcome. Congratulations to all of those with BFP!!!! Those with the BFN, I truly feel your pain. Good luck to all of you who are in the holding pattern.

Hoekey.....I also started spotting last Friday, and I thought everything was over for me, that's when I did my first HPT and find out that I had a BFP, so hang in there!!!!!!

hoekey, i just wanted to let you know that i too started spotting before i got my bfp. i went on to have a healthy bb 9 months later. i so thought i was getting my period, i almost opened a bottle of wine and drank the whole thing! i went in the next day for pt and it was positive. stay on hormones and just hang in there. best of luck to you.
