Underwired Bras??

hi val & wibbs good to hear from you both! Val, I nearly wet myself laughing at the thought of you trying to get your zipper down!!! I'm glad I'm not the only one. I'm sure this bloatedness is no longer bloatedness just the aftermath of eating too many percy pigs! Talking of which I do hope the postman hasn't eaten yours!!! I had to write on the front what was inside!!! I can't believe its another week before my scan! Yes its the 10th (friday). This has been the longest two weeks of my life. I'm also convinced I will get there and there will be nothing there. I keep having crazy dreams of m/c and ectopics. Everytime I get a pain in my stomach I start thinking I'm having one or the other - dh keeps telling me its just wind! Val, I think I would even digust the biggest boob man going - a 36F is really not a pretty sight! Sadly they are wasted on dh who I think also finds them totally hideous! I had to buy some new jeans a size bigger yesterday, but I can't keep squeezing into clothes that are too small! I'm permanently in pain. As for cravings (this will also explain why I'm so huge!!) I have found a great craving for Ben & Jerrys Pecan and Maple syrup ice cream!! Definitely recommend this. I hate milk and dh is paranoid that I don't get enough calcium, so I've been forced to eat icecream!!! Have a good weekend both of you, catch up soon love nikola.xxx

Hi Nik I was advised you can't wear underwired bra's when pregnant but I have found the best value ones are the ones from marks and spencers which are £20 for 2 and there is one black and one white. I need to go and get remeasured again because I still growing. Hope everyone is doing ok. Love Shell. 24wks 2d pg xx

Hi Val That really made me laugh, poor you I could picture you strugling with the zipper. When is your scan date??? Nikola is on the 10th, mine on the 16th Don't know when Di's is? Kat is really down at the moment I sent her a few words, but not much one can say at this moment in time to make her feel any better. July Ann has come back and seams a bit stronger maybe they will be cycle buddies together again. Here we go eyes welling up again thinking about all the _ve left behind. Life is so unfair for some people. I feel sure in time their good luck will come. Anyway going to cheer myself up, and get the case's down ready to pack for Florida. Can't wait to sit on the beach sipping a long glass of W...........Oh yes WATER...... Take care Wibbs XXXX

Hi girls Shell thanks for the advice on the bras - I tried on the two pack in M&S and was told I was too big and they didn't give me enough support! How bloody embarrassing is that. I didn't like to say I'm only 6 weeks not 6 months, although looking at my huge bloated stomach, she probably thought I was 6 months!! Well I took the "splodges" to their first football game today. I had to try really hard not to get too excited and jump up and down too much - I know I'm supposed to be taking it easy!!! Dh was very sweet and over-protective making sure nobody bumped into me!! We wanted to make sure they liked football so thought it a good idea to introduce them at an early age!! Its great we don't even have to buy them a season ticket! I'm really looking forward (in a nervous sort of way!) to the scan next friday. I want to know what is going on in there... Wibbs & Val - you both scan the same day don't you on 16th? Gosh nearly another week after me - you'll be climbing the walls!! Val, I hope the sunshine is out in florida, its bloomin freezing here today!!! I had a winter coat, jumper, scarf and gloves on at the footie. Had to keep us 'all' warm!!! Hope you are all doing ok. love nikola.xxx

Sorry to hear that those bra's are no good for you though but I am sure you will find something that is comfortable. I wish I was going to Florida because to cold here for me today!! Love Shell. xx

Hi Nikola. I took the weekend off from the computer so I didn't find out until today about Wibbs. I just can't believe it. It's hard to believe that someone's bad news that I haven't even met can hit me so hard. I teared up for quite a while after reading her message. I sure hope she is able to try again soon and that she does still come down here to sunny Florida, yes, it's still quite hot. I can't imagine dealing with freezing weather in Oct. It's usually only really cold here in Jan and Feb. I've been having crazy dreams too. I dreamt last night that my clinic called me and said they made a mistake, that I didn't have a positive pregnancy test, I was positive for Hepatitis C. I have no idea where that one came from. I hope your splodges enjoyed their first football game. I sure hope my postman didn't eat my percy pigs. I check my mailbox everyday like a little kid waiting for Santa. I'm really excited to hear about your scan on the 10th, just 4 days away. I could deal with that, but the 16th still seems like an eternity. Take Care, Val

hi val If you haven't seen - look at the other side and read Wibbs' new post!!! She went for a scan and there is another one hanging in there!! She was pg with twins and she did tragically lose one, but they found another little sac too! I was truly devastated by Wibbs' news. I know what you mean about how easy it is to become so attachd to everybody, even people you don't even know. I think it was particularly hard because we all got pg together and understand how fantastic that day is when you find out. So for something so devasting to happen, its a bit like its happened to all of us. I'm sure its the hormones!! I've had bad morning sickness since Sunday. I feel truly awful and don't look too hot either. I went and had a manicure yesterday to make me feel better and try and improve my appearance! So I've got great looking hands but the rest is not too good! The weather is officially bloody freezing here now. Its about 45-50 degrees! We have a Chrysler car which being american tells the temp in fahrenheit rather than celsius, so thats how I know!! Now that is cold, combine it with gale force winds and rain and you kind of get the picture of what I took the dogs for a walk in yesterday -not pleasant! I've been looking at brochures of the Maldives because once we get the all=clear we are off on our belated honeymoon to sit and lie on the beach! Hurrah. Can't wait. In the meantime, I'll go and put a few jumpers on and take my boys out for a walk..... I hope you are taking good care of yourself and the Pigs better turn up soon!! I can't believe it takes 10 days to get a few sweets from here to there! Maybe Wibbs should bring some out in person with her!! If you don't get them I'll send you some more. You do realise after such a big build up you won't even like them!!! lots of love nikola.xxx

Hi Nikola, I got my percy pigs!!! I think they are really good. That's the kind of candy I really like. They are similar to my gummy bears. Do you ever eat those? I don't have much of a sweet tooth right now so I will probably be able to enjoy the 2 bags for at least a week. Thank goodness Wibbs still has a little one hanging on. He(she)must have heard about Disney and didn't want to miss it. I know how you feel except that I don't even have pretty hands. I don't feel pretty at all right now. My hair is flat, my skin is pale, and my tummy is huge. Those darn hormones! I do feel sick all day, even worse at night, but I haven't actually thrown up yet. I miss my Chrysler. I gave up my Chrysler Sebring Convertible a few months ago to buy the family SUV. It just wasn't a baby friendly car. At night the lows are about 70 degrees here and the highs are around 86 degrees. I think it may start to cool down just a little the next couple of weeks so Wibbs should really be able to enjoy some great weather while she is here. I'm not familiar with the Maldives, but as long as there is a beach, sounds like a perfect place to me. You've definitely earned a nice relaxing honeymoon these past couple of months. I hope you start feeling better soon! Val
