LOST BABIES :(

Post by Tris »

Well I guess in life theres really nothing perfect... Just recently I was happily posting my BFP (for the 1st time after 3 ICSI´s) and then 4 weeks later saw 2 sacs, 6 wks saw 1 HB and now at 8 wks saw NONE! Doc says both didnt grow and so I mc´d bet 7-8 weeks. He says nothing I could do could have saved it, its like a natural miscarriage where something is missing with the development and so nature deals with it in its own way...Sad is not even enough to describe it...more like TRAGIC! Were lost but got up and faced the day again and scheduled another cycle in 2 months...Its just so hard to see the HB and then nothing OR to go through another cycle and the anxieties all over again...Youll never really know until you give birth and see that all is well...

Anyone else experience an mc and delivered healthy babies later on??? I really need all your happy stories of HOPE!!!

Tris,
I am so sorry for your loss. I know how you feel; I have had seven pregnancy's, and Have lost six of them. I had one stillborn, which was a cord accident and nightmare. I also had five m/c's. The last two m/c's I had i got to see the heartbeat, and just as everything seemed to be going perfectly, I m/c'd.
Keep your headup, and have faith. I know this is a heartbreak for you, and i will pray for peace for you and dh.

Oh gosh, Tris, I am so sorry. How devastating for you. My sister now has 3 healthy children but has had 7 miscarriages....6 were in the first trimester and one was at 22 weeks.

Her husband is an md so they did testing on all the lost feti and all of them (except the 22 week fetus) had chromosomal abnormalities. I am sure that doesnt make you feel any better but she DID have healthy pregnancies after her miscarriages, so hang in there.

Again I am very sorry for your loss. You should go pamper yourself or have a glass of wine (or the whole bottle). You are in my thoughts and prayers.

Girls...thank you so much for your prayers...After the shock, many tears, were OK and we´ll move on...at least I got pregnant and know that IVF can work (I wondered if I could even get a BFP).. Ive read that most get an mc especially with IVF and the first trimester + with your stories of mc´s and healthy babies later I just see this as the start of better times to come and will focus on the next cycle. Im planning my christmas trip alrready and will just stay positive and enjoy living...

Take care all of you and good luck in your cycles!
