Hello guys!

Although I dont have much to say, I thought it ws time to come and say hello to my pheonixes buddies!

I have been reading your news from time to time , some disappointment, some difficult time (Kate especially) but also the bumps and babies growing!

I am working now (since I dont have to go back to France for treatment) and enjoying it! Times goes by so quickly, which is good because i dont have time to think too much as i did before!

The adoption process went very fast this summer but it hasnt progressed for the past couple of month and it is getting frustrating now... And with Xmas coming, I dont expect things to get quicker!
We wont have our agrement in November as planned, so fingers crossed for december.... then a couple of months and we should have our little one home! Getting very impatient now.

It is the perfect time of the year now in dubai, the weather is great (30 degrees), the sea not to hit anymore etc...

DH eldest daughter is here for some holidays and we are all enfoying ourselves.

Better go and do some cooking

Love to all
I miss you guys, but me being away from the board is for the best!
xxx

Nicki glad bramble is okay x x x

hi everyone
txt Nicki last night...so she knows this but i am struggling a bit...
yesterday was my day 10 and usual ivf bleed day. IM told me that i WOULD NOT get AF on these meds so was very surprised to see brown then bright pink yesterday. I called the clinic thank goodness they were still open on a sunday and they upped my meds ( more porogesterone and more oestrogen patches). They said it could be a number of things but they did say mainly it was either the progesterone pessaries causing bright pink blood or the fact the embies needed more meds ( there for good news)...Trying desperately to hang on to this but still have bright pink 24 hours later :? ( as well as pmt sore back and hot sweats)

Gosh i hate this 2ww stuff...Hoping and praying embies are okay and it's just a mother nature thing  4 days to test day ... 8)

catch ya all later

love to everyone jen x x x x

Morning Girls,

Sorry I have been MIA, but I am now back and trying to catch up on all the posts!!

Jen - thinking of you, I'm sure IM know what they are doing and that the increased meds will make a difference soon. Its hard to keep the PMA but its not over until its over and so I am sending you lots of positive vibes to make sure those embies are sticking!! :D

Nickie - half term was ok, slept and vegged for the majority of it!! How is Bramble, better I hope? Good news on the weight loss, you'll be a stick before you know it!!

Julie - how's you? Bump getting bigger by the second I would have thought?!!

Lisa - bet baby Mia is keeping you busy? Hope you are enjoying motherhood and its everything its cracked up to be?

Lucy, Gail - how are you guys?

Souris - great to hear from you. Thanks for the kind words, but onwards and upwards I guess. Keep us posted on the adoption front. One of the guys at work has just adopted 3 little girls - 4 1/2, 2 1/2 and 5mths!! All from the same family and he is loving every minute of it - completely knackered, but loving it all the same!

As for me, half term is over with. I feel like I haven't had a break already and I've only been back at work 3 1/2 hours!! Only 7 1/2 wks until the xmas hols tho!

I had my birthday on Sunday as well and I hate to say it but I perhaps had one too many to drink!! I had some of the girls from work over to mine on Saturday and then we went to a bar/club afterwards - lots of dancing went on (to some very dodgy tunes!!) and then I attempted to walk home with no shoes on!! Needless to say my feet were rather sore yesterday! DH then took me out for a lovely pub lunch yesterday and then we snuggled on the sofa for the rest of the afternoon! Very nice!

Just changing the subject totally, has anyone heard of the Bridge Fertility Centre ( its short for something but I can't remember what!!). Only my centre is moving and The Bridge is taking its place at the same hospital. I've now got to decide whether to stay at the same hospital but with a different fertility centre or stay with the same centre but move hospitals!! Any info anyone has on it would be greatly appreciated so I can try and make my mind up - success rates are pretty similar so that doesn't help either!!

Will catch up with you guys later

Kate :D

Hi Girls

Sorry not popped in but have been busy with the in-laws!

Jen - Bug hugs and buckets of PMA to you. Have been thinking of you. Have the upped meds stopped the show? Hope you are feeling positive. Love to ya. Not long now.....

Souris - Good to hear from you - Glad you have having good weather and enjoying work. Keep us posted as to adoption progress

Kate - Glad you enjoyed your break. probably flew by for you no doubt! Belated birthday wishes for you. Sounds like you celebrated good style.

Nikki - Sorry to hear cat isn't well! Any news from the vet? hope on the mend. Great news re the weight loss. keep going girl.

Hi to everyone else, espec new mum Lisa x

As for me I feel better but I am so bunged up all the time!! Annoying me now. Had midwife on Friday and my bump is measuring at 32 weeks....said although it wont be small baby it will not necessarily be big but will keep a close eye that my growth slows down and hopefully it is just water.

anyway, back to the grind stone. take care all
