Fee -

You my friend and Royal Highness will need your own reply. First and foremost - go and get the hair dyed before Nogamy sees this. He is fully developed and it is almost time for his arrival. This luxury will not be so easy once he is here. Second - mustaches are mysterious and potential money makers on women - think circus. I happen to think Magnum PI will make a comeback and you will be quite the trendsetter. Lastly - go to the nail shop and get those toes spiffed up. That is potentially the first place Nogs will look... do you want him seeing anything but blue sparkles?? Enjoy these luxuries while you can before you are toting him around with you. Ask Meg - it isn't nearly as easy once you have that tiny being sucking the time and life right out of you (literally and mentally). I want the 30th to be a special day where you are feeling your best. This is equivalent to the biggest embryo transfer of your life and as our queen, we need to see you at your finest. How can you lead our new Transgender clients to success if you have let these things slip by... you are now a walking ad for our new and going to be very successful business. Lastly I would like you to send the secretary a nice bottle of Champagne and ask her to keep in touch as you really appreciated all of her hard work. This will hopefully lead her to continue sharing her escapades at her new place of employment and bring continuous soap opera stories to the sisterhood. Think of it as a sequel. As the ******* Runs will be part two resuming from cell 69 (hahaha) and The Young and the Sexually Deviant... these are also money makers. Fee, if we just used even half of these brilliant ideas you and I would never work again. Lets start copyrighting.

10/30/07 or bust.

Geez this thread is a jolly place to be right now!

First and foremost, Angie and Vicky, congratulations to you both. The news is fantastic! Welcome to the next nine months (or longer according to Meg) of freaking out! Both your numbers sound good and strong (in my medical opinion) I wonder if there may be twins in there? Angie, how many bedrooms does your new place have??? Hope you have enough! Vicky I know what you mean about thinking you'll feel better once you reach certain milestones. I didn't tell many people until I was five months gone...and only did that because it was getting obvious.

Kiwi I like the sound of your boss, keeping it very low key. Impressive stuff. As yet cot remains unassembled, room not cleared. I have however had a car seat installed which is freaking me out, driving around with a baby seat when I haven't even got a baby. Wierd.

Jenn good luck on the GTT test, I was convined I had gestational diabetes but in the end didn't. I've been celebrating with chocolate ever since!

Mego, I've also heard that caring for baby is monumental. When I went to child birth classes they told me that feeding alone could take 8 hours a day....what the???? I had envisaged getting out, dropping some weight, doing some exercise, getting my hair done...guess not huh???

Sass glad to hear that your antrals are responding to tough love and chocolate. I will await the results of tomorrow dildo appt anxiously. So I'm just getting the sisterhood calendar in order, if you go to Vietnam, how long are we talking about for this trip??? When would we expect the mega thaw to occur if you do go??

Angie, now about Dr D's dildo prowess, he uses a glove???? Ummmm is it not standard protocol for the dildo to wear a condom? Please enlighten me. Maybe Dr D thinks it's untactful to have a box of condoms on show at a fertility clinic. If so he is terribly sensitive.

Tina yes I think we can safely say that dildo is not the favourite thing of the infertile. I was totally unprepared for it when first confronted with it. I was told I was getting an ultrasound to check on a cyst. Silly me thought it was one of those ones that they do on your stomach. When they gave me a robe and told me to take my pants off I had a nasty sense of foreboding about what was to come. As I recall I made for the toilet and phoned a friend alerting her to the violation which was about to happen to me.....she could not stop laughing... so sensitive. Oh well Karma being what it is she has just found out that she has PCOS and I suspect she will be making a friend of the dildo in the future. Thanks for the mo grooming tips. I would like to play with a few styles and see what I can come up with, maybe enter into a moustache competition or two....

Geez Amy sorry to hear about the lost post, I too have lost some genius works due to technical difficulties. Thanks for the follow up though I appreciate your concern. It certainly is not like me to let myself go as I have done and far be it from me to scare poor Nogs. I will try to begin a salvage operation on my looks pronto. Thanks for letting me keep the moustache. I think it will be quite useful if we are to operate a transgender advice service. I think it will be a little bit of an icebreaker for our clients who may spend some time wondering if I am a he or a she. I will send some sort of boozy present to secretary, I also want to be kept in the loop. Never having had the opportunity to be a slut myself I do like to hear of her stories. And I agree the stories should be made available to the wider public, I will start on the screenplay when I'm at the hair dresser.

NOGGIN UPDATE: Went to see my OB's colleague today to discuss C-Sections (due to my meltdown last week). I like OB's colleague much more than OB. Anyhoo, Nogs appears to have flipped around and may not come out in an awkward position after all...I am freaking relieved!!! Now I'm paranoid that I have pre-eclampsia. My sister in Holland has just been carted off to hosp with Pre-eclampsia (she is due to give birth a week before me...) Bloody Hell

Oh what a wonderful week for our sisterhood!! Angie those numbers sound fab! You and Vicky will be popping out babies at about the same time, how exciting! Congratulations!!!!

Fee- I agree with Amy- get going on those roots and toes! You will be one busy bee once Nogs arrives and having time to take care of yourself will be few and far between. I'm glad nogs decided to turn. Did you feel him turn? Or was it a surprise?

Vicky- blood tomorrow right? I can't wait to see how high the numbers go!

Hey Vicky, sorry to hear about the spotting, it's so hard to deal with. I'm sure you are perfectly OK but it is so hard not to freak out about it. I really hope it stops for the sake of your sanity if nothing else....It's not fair that us infertiles have to go through hell to get preg and then have these added stresses! Like I said hope the spotting stops because it sucks a$$.

Hey Jenn, nah I didn't feel Nogs move at all, in fact I was convinced he hadn't budged. Hows that for motherly intuition. Don't worry I will try to restore my looks before Nogs comes, don't want to scare the little chap.

Well it's after midnight here and I'm prowling around worried about my sister. Because of her pre-eclampsia she has been induced. She lives in Holland and I feel helpless and completely out of the loop in terms of what is happening to her. Last anyone spoke to her was 8 hours ago. I would have thought her DH could have given us a freaking update in that time. I'm feeling a punter nomination coming on...

OHHH Fee- Punter nomination....haven't had one of those since, well, I think since my neighbor. Fee, I am so happy to hear that dear, sweet Nogin has turned and decided to cooperate. You need to let him know NOW who is the boss. Please hold out having him though for about 6 more days. I just know he is going to be a halloween baby. With the bats, you, yourself predicted it without even knowing :D

vicky- As hard as it is to stay calm, try. Like I said I spotted my whole pregnancy. And, I have a beautiful daughter. DH thought the spotting was due to us having sex, so after the first time that I was bleeding, he gave up sex with me for my whole pregnancy. We just didn't want to risk anything happening to the pregnancy. Call the dr. and see what they say. Just take it easy.
I don't know if I told you how happy I am for you and dh.

Angie- Yippee!!! Your numbers look so good. I am so excited. Enjoy every moment of being pregnant.

Meg- I was so sad to hear about what poor Lucy had to go through. Bless both your hearts. I am happy to hear that she is on the mend though. It is just doubly hard when a baby is sick because they can't tell you what's wrong.
I must say I loved your vent post about being able to do nothing with a baby. I feel the same way. I LOVE my sweet daughter, but I still (she's 2) can't seem to get much done. My husband complained once about the house being a disaster and I told him I could either care for our child, or clean the house. Now, he's content with a messy house. Motherhood is extremely overwhelming but so rewarding as well. When you start getting frustrated just look at sweet Lucy and think of all it took to get your angel here.

Sassy- So glad to hear of the festive toenails. Mine are also orange. Thought the kids would enjoy that. However, they have either not noticed, or they just don't comment. Could be a little of both.
So glad to see the Godiva chocolates worked wonderfully. I may have to try some of those. I could easily come up with some sort of ailment.

Tina- Where at in Texas are you? I too live in Texas:) Not a native, but have been here long enough that they have come to accept me.
A Marathon? I must say I am super impressed!!! And two toenails. Yikes. We must work on that one. The sad thing, is once you lose them they never seem to come back as nice and pretty. maybe some blue sparkles will make them look wonderful.

Jen- I can't believe how far along you are. I can still remember when you got the lovely news that you were pregnant. Your little one will be here before you know it. Are you home for the weekend, or are you off to another LSU game?

Amy- Your posts always make me laugh so. You are so creative. I think you need to use those creative juices to find your way back into the classroom. There are just not enough "fun" teachers out there.

Okay, all these pregnant women on here are making me want to quickly jump back in. However, with dear dr. being 360 miles away I must wait a few more months....7 to be exact. Yikes, that is so far away. But, I am going to do it again, with better results this time.

Students are calling...dont' they understand that I can't teach them all day long. I need my time to talk to the sistas.

I only have a minute... but

Angie: congrats on the confirmation! That is fabulous news!

And Robbo-- There you are! I was starting to wonder. 7 months does seem like a long time, so we will keep you entertained until the shots start again

So apparently the threat from Crazy Aussie Aunt Fee did the trick. On US this am I had about 20 follicles developing compared to 7 two days ago. That's what I'm talking about!

Will be back for more later...

Yes, Chocolate fixes everything!! In fact I am going to eat some Halloween candy right now. We put our garbage can out last night and did not get it back this morning. It has vanished. I'm thinking chocolate will bring it back...If it can bring Sassy a ton of follies, then it could work for me too. The question is will a snickers or a reeses cup bring the can back?? Better eat one of each.

Chocolate, huh? Well, I didn't have any, so I went the pizza and breadsticks route. I'm trying so hard to lose weight (I'm down 30 lbs since I had her, but need to lose another 30 to be at my pre-pregnancy weight.) but I feel like poopie tonight (darned cold!) so decided pizza was the only option. Wish I had some chocolate for dessert!

Sassy--Congrats on the antrals. Much better. The sisterhood is rocking!

Okay, I know I need to post more personals, but must go to bed.

Hi Ladies - have given myself the day off today to recover the excitement of the week and also to devote some time to reading all the highly amusing posts we've had here for the last few days.

After my BFP yesterday, I bought myself a hat! A strange present you may think, but there is a reason. On the day I got the home test result I committed me and DH to $200 tickets to the Derby Day races next Saturday. Spring racing is huge here in Melb and everyone gets frocked up - lots of fun. The logic behind the purchase was that if I bought a ticket which gave me lots of champagne and also food that I can't eat ( bound to be all sorts of cheeses and sushi/sea food in the catering), of course I will get a BFP. And it worked!

So I have a hat and looking forward to spending next Saturday watching DH and all my friends get sloshed.

A few personals now:

Meggo - glad Lucy is better - it must have been a shock. Perhaps the worry ends when they reach 18?

Tina - have a margerita for me too.

Vicky - try not to worry - everyone has different symtons, that is for sure.

Sassy - much as I'd like to see you, Tina, Robbo and Amy go for the quadruple whammy at the end of the year, you will be in such a great position to wait as long as you like for the ET. The embies will have been made, the eggs no longer aging (always my big worry), they'll be on ice and waiting for you. So I'd be going and enjoying the Viet Nam experience and making the most of the opportunity while you still can.

Fee - congrats on the turning of the Nogs. He may still do a more few training circuits but he'll be lined up and in the starting gate on 5 Nov ready for his entrance on the 6th. BTw the house currently has 3 bedrooms but scope to extend should we ever need to. But that will be Phase 2 renovation - it would be good to get Phase 1 finished so we can actually move in. We are making progress - the bathroom and kitchen now have new walls and tiles have been ordered. Estimated moving date - mid to end November - when I'll probably be in the throws of morning sickness.

Have great days girls and thanks for all the support and fun this week - you've all been great!

Angie: Good on you for chucking a sickie! (do I get extra points for spontaneous use of an Aussieism?). Nice hat purchase. I need a description. Very high brow of you!

Fee: what happened with your sister? I'm hoping mother and child are healthy.

Jenn: I, too, have had my garbage can go astray. Actually, I eventually found it up the street a bit (!?). In my professional opinion, I do believe the best way to conjur up the can is through a COMBINATION of R.eese's AND s.nickers. You may have to throw in some D.ove chocolate to really up the ante  To do my part, I will make some browies (triple chocolate chunk for extra measure) .

Bye-bye, *******: So it is official. The ******* is headed up to the "big house". He was sentenced yesterday (he pled to parole violation) and will do 12-30 months in prison. We are glad it is over and that neither of us had to testify. It's better that way.

As for the Viet Nam trip... a cousin of mine has traveled with her husband a few times on medical relief trips through this particular organization that concentrates on Viet Nam. It is 3 weeks. They do clinics for 12-16 hours every 2-3 days... basic medical care out in the middle of nowhere. Several of the places are orphanages, and they do well-child exams to identify any problems early, along with treating ear or upper respiratory infections, etc. In between, there are two days to rest, sight see and travel to the next place. They have things for dh to do also. This is the sort of thing I have wanted to do for years, but never did due to the fact I was ttc. I have some work to do on dh--- he isn't as excited about it as I am. If I can talk him into it, maybe we will wait until after the trip to thaw our stubborn little buggers out. We'll see.

Well girls, after a busy morning with some new spotting (some even red, but not too much), and thinking it was over for me, I received the call and my HCG went up from 119 on Wed to 302!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so I am very very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have to go back on Tuesday, hopefully I will stop spotting by then......pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee  . Please look at my progress.........I changed my profile, but shhhhhhhhhh, don't tell anybody  . Now, don't be anxious, for the ticker I need at least to see a HB on the ultrasound, so still a couple of weeks for that one

Sassy......first off, wow 20 follies, that sounds great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, I bet you will have 800000000 embies after this mega-cycle  . About your trip, it sounds very interesting, when are you planning on going??

Fee.......I bet you are not writing not because you are sleeping, but because you are delivering Nogs!! (obviously today was my predicted day.... ). Congratulations on turning him over just one day before the delivery!!!!!!!!!

Jenn.....did the chocolate bring your trash can back???, it did stop my spotting for a couple of hours, so it does work

Robbo....thank you for your words, they did calm me down (and that is a huuuuge accomplishment!!! ). Oh and please explain to those students the importance of the sistahood!!!!!

Vicky- whew! I am relieved to hear your news. When I didn't see a post from you all day I was worried. I'm glad things are looking good. Enjoy your weekend!

The trash can is back! We think the neighbors had it.

Fee- you better not be having that baby. I need to go back and look but I think my predicted day is next week. I believe Nov. 1-- that is All Saints Day and I picked it b/c Nogs will be a saint and cause you NO pain!!

Meg- I am sorry you feel like poopie. I laughed when I read that word and thought only a mom would say that! I hope you enjoyed your pizza. You deserve it!

Sassy- that trip sounds very fun and rewarding! Glad to see BIL is out of your hair (and your finances) for a while! Enjoy your vacation from him!

Well we have company coming tonight for the weekend so I need to finish cleaning... I have put it off long enough.
Jenn
