Hopeful2007 I am sorry that you are disappointed after your FET. But there is a posting on the IVF forum (its called "Shocked") about a woman (Kelley77) who had 2 embies transfer, one was decent quality and one was not great quality. Her RE told her to not get her hopes up for the second one at all and the other one was iffy. Anyway, she got a BFP and then found out in her u/s that she is pregnant with twins. So, sometimes those embies that are poorly graded are fighters and will make it!

Hopealways - how are you doing? what have you decided for your next steps?

JenB - hope that your 2ww is going well so far!

Quick update from me.

Started today stimms on Gonal-F 300.
My next scan is on 30th October then on 2nd November and if everything is ok then the EC should be on 5th November.

I am on day 11 of Lupron. I have Ultrasound and Bloodwork tommorow and am supposed to start Menopur and Follisten on Friday. ET is scheduled for Nov 6th!

It's getting near the end of the month so we should start seeing some BFP's!!!

Hi everyone.

I'm back from ER and they got 8 eggs, so very pleased and a little shocked. The lady next to me also got 8. The nurses/doctors were all very jovial and joking about what a great egg day it had been.

There was lots of joking and fun in the theater, they were all such a lovely bunch.

Fingers crossed my eggs fertilise ok. They have chosen to try andgrow them to blasts.

Hope everyone is ok.

well i am doing okay...very nauseus from the pessaries, progesterone always does this too me. i have had it every cycle x x Hoping i get past day 10 which is tues 30th as i have always bleed on that day on each cycle, Hoping the meds keep it all at bay. x x

Hi Ladies, it's good to read that everyone is doing so well. I went for my 2nd u/s today and we have a slight dominant follicle this time but not near what cancelled our last cycle. We have about 6 follies per side with the largest at 12 and a several others at 10's and below. The RE suggested we keep going with the micro-dose Lupron and 450 Gonal f and have another u/s on Saturday. I'm praying the dominant follie behaves it's self and lets the others catch up or we could once again be facing a cancelled cycle.

Went to the Dr. for my baseline and I have a big fat cyst on my right ovary. They did the bloodtest and my estriodial (sp) level is high as well. So, I'm waiting for the Dr. to call me and tell me what to do. The nurse said he will either asparate the cyst or put me on a higher dosage of lupron and have me back in a couple of days.
Anyone have any experience with this?

Hi Everyone!

JenB - glad that things are going well with you. While it make seem like my 2ww is coming to a close, it stills seems like forever until Monday (I guess it is all relative). I know what you mean about hoping you pass a certain day without a bleed. Mine is tomorrow and Sat. It is nerve racking!

Tilly - I usually have a dominant follie too and my RE typically decide to sacrifice that one follie (it becomes overly mature) and give the others time to get large. I think at one point my largest follie was 3.0 and the others were around to 2.0 mark so it worked fine. Perhaps you can suggest that strategy if it continues to grow faster than the rest.

Talisen_cat - congrats on the great 8 eggs. That is awesome. Are they doing ICSI or natural fertilization?

Another day down in this 2ww. I am feeling less pessimistic today - maybe because I don't have any AF cramping. Who knows!

Hello everyone,
My dh and I are one of the few blessed that ended up getting their evacuation orders lifted. We do know a couple of people that have lost their homes to the fires so we are deeply saddened for them. It has been a very scary situation here the last few days and the fires still rage on. We had both our cars packed and ready to go. I did manage to go to my RE yesterday. They were still open because their office is away from the fires. I had my first u/s and she saw 14 follies. I will be in tomorrow morning for my 2nd u/s. I hope it goes well. With everything going on here it is the only thing keeping me sane and focused. Thank you all for you kind words.

Michelle - 12 follies sounds great, and they are not too varied in size. I had 13 and mine ranged from 7 to 25. You have made an awesome start!! How exciting.

wannabeamomma – thank goodness your still at home. How are the stress levels? 14 follies is also fantastic news. Are you bloated??

7 of the 8 of my eggs fertilised!!! They will give me a grading tomorrow. I am very pleased ,yet still have this cynical edge at the moment.

I think it’s the terrible bloating I am feeling. I haven’t had this so extreme before. It’s not just restricted to my lower tummy but right up to my ribs. Like I have eaten way too much. Has anyone else felt this? I’ve been told just to keep the water up!!

Kelly – I had natural fertilization. This is a first for me. I had ICSI for all the previous IVF’s (it was with my x-husband).

Anie – how you feeling being on 300 gonal – F? That’s my stim of choice!!

Well I am feeling very down today. I did an HPT and it was negative. I know that they aren't reliable but I didn't even get a faint positive. I typically get AF today or tomorrow when it is bfn so I am now just awaiting her arrival.

I am sorry no personals at the moment, I am just feeling so down. I really thought it worked this time.

Hey girls, hope you dont mind me gatecrashing your thread. It's just that I've finally found someone (Jen babes!) testing on the same day as me, 2 Nov...!

Short history, my first ICSI but no ET due to OHSS last month. Did FET this month, transferred 1 8-cell embie and today is the mid point of my 2WW. No symptoms and not very hopeful, just trying to be positive whenever i can.

Jen babes, did you transfer 3 Day or 5 day blast?

Kellym, it's not over till it's over, there is hope yet if you havent done your test, keep the faith!
