Eimear2 - hope you are doing okay. I agree that talking cannot take away the pain and right now we just need to be upset! I asked for a review appointment today but they haven't gotten back to me. They don't usually make review appointments until after the beta but it always helps me to know that my next steps are in the works.

Kelly, I am so sad to hear your news. I know what you mean about having the next steps planned. Then at least you feel like you're in control of something.
Eimear, the DHs just don't understand sometimes. Of course we're down and upset. It does pass but it takes time, crying, and getting angry. I'm sure he was just trying to help because maybe he thought he wasn't able to do a good enough job, because you're still upset. But, it just takes time!!

Well, I heard back from my clinic and they've booked me in for a review appointment on Tuesday which is great. I've never got in that fast so they must be feeling badly for me.
So, I go for my beta on Monday to confirm the negative and then will at least get to discuss next steps the day after. That at least is a plan.
I am still feeling down but less so than this morning.
It is great to see the BFPs on this board. I can't wait until the day that I can be one of them!!

Hoekey - I am sorry to hear about your confirmed BFN but I know how you feel when you already have known. It is still disappointing but at least you were mentally prepared.

Well girls, after a busy morning with some new spotting (some even red, but not too much), and thinking it was over for me, I received the call and my HCG went up from 119 on Wed to 302!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, so I am very very happy!!!!!!!!!!!!!. I have to go back on Tuesday, hopefully I will stop spotting by then......pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
Hoekey.......I am very sorry about your blood test, it is very sad and disappointing to receive that dreaded phone call, I experienced it more times than I would have wanted to. I don't know how do you like to metabolize this things, some people want to get back on the horse right again (like me, I am very very anxious), others prefer to take some time off and then come back with more energy. Whatever you decide, I wish you the best and please keep us posted!!!, it will happen for you, I know it!!!!!

I have been watching this thread for several days now, taking great delight in the bfps!!!!! I just want to say to all of you, I admire your strength and I hope I have half the strength that you all have shown throughout your 2ww. I'm about to be in the same situation, my first IVF with ICSI with a tenative ER of 11/7, so I'll be a 2wwer 11/8-11/21.....arghh, already driving myself crazy thinking about how agonizing that is. I think, do I let myself get excited about the prospect of being pregnant only to have to pick up the pieces when I get a bfn, or do I assume its not gonna work and hang around with down spirits until I know for sure. Neither way is perfect. Anyway, happy pregnancy to all you bfps and big hugs to the others still working on it.

Well, I broke down and took a hpt yesterday. It was BFP!!!!! I am worried it could still be chemical so I will take one everyday to see if the line gets darker. I took anohter one this morning and the line is darker!!! I'm still not going to get my hopes up until I get my Beta on Thursday but it's just nice to pee on a stick (for once) and get two lines. The line was pretty dark today so now I am just praying up until my BETA.
We have been trying for 4 years. This is my 2nd IVF. The first IVF didn't implant so I have been VERY skeptical about everything. I definitely feel different this IVF. Last time I had small symptoms but this time I have a lot of symptoms. I especially have a lot of heartburn and my stomach always feels bloated. It's weird!
Anyway, good luck to everyone! Keep your fingers crossed for me that it's not still the HCG shot!!!!

Congrats on your hpt. I'll keep my fingers crossed for you. What other symptoms have you been having? This is my third time (test on mon) and I've been crampy and bloated and of course sore bbs. The other two times I didnt have the symptoms except the bbs which could be from the progesterone. But I've definitely been feeling different.
