I know it is a little bit “no-no” subject, but I would really like to now how much weight have you guys gain so far. I am almost 16 weeks and gained 7 pounds. It seams as it is only in my stomach which is great because I am a bit overweight to begin with. Also, luckily I didn’t have problem with vomiting during my first trimester. I am also in a state of alert (regarding me being overweight) and am still waiting for those weird cravings to kick in (so far only Ramen soup)…
Hi, I'm 20 wks and today had my OB appt. According to their scale, I've gained about 14 lbs so far. I gained only 6lbs for the first trimester and like you, didn't have any sickness at all.

OK, I'm preggers with twins and, Friday, it'll be 14 weeks.
Multiple pregnancies are a different ball game than singletons...
Drum roll:
I've gained anywhere from 14 - 17 pounds so far. Twin pregnancies are different, you're supposed to gain 20 - 30 pounds in the first 20 weeks because the babies grow differently than singletons (ie: twins are born early, and don't continue to gain at the rate of singletons toward the end, cuz there isn't any room).
I'm tall, was TOTALLY into working out with a personal trainer and spinning prior to getting preggers...I'll pick all of that back up again, but I want these babies to pack on pounds! It bummed me out at first, but I don't want to do anything to risk the babies' health...
So far I'm wearing it well...my guess is I'll gain 40 - 45 pounds during this pregnancy...we shall see.
One thing that probably added to my weight gain: I felt nauseated, but only threw up 3-4 times during my first trimester...carbs helped me keep M/S at bay...
Now, I just wish I'd be able to eat fish and meat again...I still shy away from them...

This is book that I refer to determine the weight gain goals, nutrition needs etc. This book is available in our local library.
"When you're expecting twins, triplets or Quads" by Dr. Barbara Luke and Tamara Eberlein.
Its chapter 3, "Weight gain goals" has a many charts that can be used e.g. pre-pregnancy body mass index or pre-pregnancy height/weight/frame and the number of babies one if carrying.
I am 21 weeks and my doctor has been seeing me every 2 weeks. In the last 2 weeks I gained 7 pounds and when the nurse told me she said "Wow, thats alot in 2 weeks" I talked to my doctor about it and he said that it can still be all the IVF meds that I took. I also did not get any m/s lucky me but I always felt really big, full, bloated the first 12 weeks. Little by little its going away but now I feel my little man growing and moving alot. I wish everyone luck and GOD bless you all!!!
When I was pg w/ the twins I gained a total of 28 lbs. I actually gained 8 of those on hospital bed rest and although it doesn't seem like much the only place I gained was in the stomach. My OB said I was just a very efficiant incubator and my babies were actually big for their gestational age when they were born at 34 weeks.
I think everyone is so different and although it's great to know your in the average range just remember your normal will be different. I needlessly worried over not gaining enough but later got to enjoy being back to normal in 8 days.
Good luck to you and congrats!

I am almost 25 weeks pregnant with triplets and have gained 35 lbs so far! I probably only have 9-10 weeks left if I can make it that far. But I have steadily gained about 2-3 lbs per week since I was about 18 weeks. I lost lbs in the 1st trimester due to M/S and just not feeling hungry. But now I eat all the time! OB wants me to gain at least 60 lbs total! But I have heard some women say they gained 60 lbs with 1 baby so everyone is different!!
I have really only gained it in my belly and hips, arms and face still look like me! But I am sure that will change the bigger I get!!
You guys all seam so well behaved with you weight...I understand that with twins and triplets there must be difference in expected weight gain... I will soon start my prenatal yoga classes and then I might feel little bit better regarding extra munchies.
