ever heard of fibrinogen....

hi,i am into 9th ivf...and always in misery...i always get preggy but not for long then my dr.found out lately that i have a decreased concentration of fibrinogen...meaning very less concentrate in my blood...can anybody help me wd this...what a proper food should be taken or any medication...my dr. will be treating me for this very rare disease he said a very rare disease...(why It have to be like this I am so tired of this life)a blood transfusion...to normalize my blood...pls.help any knowledge about this...

Hi, yes I know what fibrinogen is, it is a clotting factor, basically it is one of the proteins that help in the clotting process. I don't think there is anything you can eat to increase it, I believe the transfussion is the only thing that will increase your fibrinogen levels.

hi vicky thanks a lot,my re was telling me this,transfusion....do i have a blood thinning or clotting since my btest is 69mg and the normal should be 150-350 so i am so much below...I cant figure out what my re was explaining to me...here I am browsing in the web,jus want to be sure if my blood is clotting or thinning...another one is neprinol safe for me coz i want my fibroid to decrease in size....
