Nuchal scan went well

Hi all, Just wanted to share that my scan yesterday was brilliant - we got to listen to the baby's heart, and watch him/her for ages. We've got a laidback little one in there - refused to jump when the doctor poked me in the tummy, just yawned instead, then batted him away with one little arm! My Downs risk has gone down from 1:720 to 1:2240 (I'm 29) and all is going as it should, so we couldn't be happier, and feel safe to tell the world. Just feel so so lucky. hi becky how exciting. I'm so pleased everything is going ok for you. I'm about to have my first 6 week scan on Friday and I guess until I've seen something its hard to believe I'm pregnant!! You go shout it out and tell everyone!! love nikola.xx

Just want to say that I am glad everything went well with your scan and it does give you peace of mind when you know all is going ok. You can shout it from the roof tops now its all just so exciting. Love Shell. xx

Ohhh, isn't it fab seeing the little one, and for such a long time too! We had ours last Tuesday, and like you had good results etc etc. Now got to wait for the Midwifery appt next Fri 17th, and then the 20 week scan! How is your bump doing? I have just ordered my first pair of maternity trousers on the internet, hope they arrive in a week, as I have a feeling I will be needing them in a couple of weeks time! Sickness has now all gone for me - you too? Enjoy, starting to feel a bit more real now! D x

Hi Becky, I am really glad all went well. It's a real milestone isn't it? and such a differenece from the 7 weeks scan.(looks like a real life baby!) Now you can really enjoy your pregnancy! Take care of you both, lots of love Kirsty x

Hi Becky, Really pleased to see hear your scan went well - must be such a relief for you! I just had my 7 week scan on Monday and all was well - can't wait for the next one although abit apprehensive as at 10 week scan last time there was no heartbeat! But the Dr tells us all the signs are postitive this time - baby was really samll last time! Di
