i asked further down the board if anyone ever had any pains or twinges (period like) when on stims and i've not had one reply, i need a bit of reassurance and support and it seems like i'm just alone in this, i have had these pains on all my ivf's and each one has failed and just wanted to know if anyone ever felt anything or had any symtoms when on these stim's just so i know i'm not going mad.

i saw your original post but never had anything like that with stimms. i did have the most awful AFs on stimms (and i mean awful!!) but cant remember any other painst than that (except the usual bloating and the odd pain where your ovaries are growing!).

i really hope someone else has experienced this and will respond soon!

Hello cath

On this last cycle, I had definate twinges in my ovaries after about 4 days of starting stims. At times they were quite sharp.

There was lots of bloating and was very uncomfortable. The bloating has just gone down 3 days after egg retrieval. I was high dosage of stims too.

I had sharp pains after egg pick up too.

Hope that helps. Everyone responds so differently to teh stims.
