Hi Everyone,

This is just a quickie for me. Well, you know I got my hpt bfn yesterday and today AF arrived with avengence so I know it is over. This has been my pattern for all my other bfns. I have bounced back from yesterday and am feeling okay. I got a review appointment for Tuesday (shocked that they squeezed us in that quickly) so I am feeling like we are moving forward. We'll see what the RE says. We are ready to turn to DE but I have a feeling he'll suggest one more round. We'll listen to his reasoning before making a decision one way or the other.

JenB - you are doing great. Can't wait to hear about your BFP later this week.

Rhall - that is incredible news about your fertilized eggs! Let's hope you don't need to use the frosties for at least 9 months!!! Good luck for ET tomorrow.

Carolyn - glad to hear that you are now on the patches and on your way to your scan - almost there!

Hi to everyone else! I am thinking of you all!
7 IVF cycles - 2 chemicals, 5 BFN
1 FET cycle - BFN
9th IVF cycle - BFP!! Twins born Sept 18/08
Trying again May 2010!!!

Hi

Poochie Glade your trail run went well, Jan, Feb will be here before you know it. We could be having ET same time as my 1st appointment @ IM is at the beginning of December. Positive sign is we can have a drink or two over Xmas. Sorry to hear about your friend but I am sure you are doing all you can to help.

Jen1d Pleased you have your op on Tues will be thinking of you. One step nearer to those frosties waiting for you. Also good luck with the adoption process. Sounds like you are keeping busy. Hope your night out went really well and that you had a fab time :D

Kelly Soo sorry to hear your bad news but pleased you have your appointment sorted so that you can discuss the way forward. Sending you lots of HUGS .

Rhall Lots of eggs thats fantastic. Good luck with your ET today.

Gill Hope your enjoying your weekend, amazing stuff being a bone marrow donor, its such a lovely thing to do.

Jenbabes Not long to go now keep that PMA, BFP will be with you soon. Hope your chilling.

Carolyn Hope you had a nice time at Brighton yesterday and that you are chilling today. Glade you have started those patches and hope your appointment goes well on Friday. Sounds like you are very organised getting your currency ready. What a load of money :( . I am thinking of obtaining my currency for the 1st appointment let alone the 2nd. Carrying the cash around does worry me but it has to be done. Not long till ET it will soon be here.

I have now booked all my flights and hotel and am staying at the Atenea. Not long to go and am really excited but nervous at the same time. I am hoping to have ET either Jan or early Feb but not sure whether they will be able to do this, but I really hope so.

Chris Treatment will be with you soon, but glade you are taking your time to prepare.

Hi to everyone else that I have missed.

Speak soon

Love Lucy xxxx :D

Oh Kelly, I'm soo sorry!! I can only imagine what you're going through. I wish there was something I could say to make it better, but I hope it helps to know that we're all here for you.

I hope everyone else is doing well. The ET this morning went really well. Transferred two 8-cell embryos and the RE was very happy about the fertilization results (already know that we're freezing at least 10, we'll find out about the others in a few days). DH is very happy that we will have multiple tries, but hopefully we won't have to try for a while. So I'm just taking it easy today and my pug is more than happy relaxing next to me. Next step is testing on Nov. 8 which is one week before my birthday. Hope I get what I want this year!

Hi to everyone I've missed

Very quiet weekend for us, we've been busy for weeks now with the fencing, flooring, decorating so we decided to have a lazy relaxing weekend and it was fab!
Have sent off the medical form they sent from Anthony Nolan and they've booked my blood test for the 5th November, not sure how long it will take to find out if I will be the best match but I know it takes about 3 months if you are picked to when they actually do it. Glad I havent arranged another tmt yet, but I have told them that I've just had tmt and that I want to have another soon too.

Take care everyone
Lots of love

jen1 how are you feeling about your op tomorrow ???

Lucy good on ya for getting everything booked..when is your date of appointment ...

much love to everyone else x x

thank you all for the postive vibes and sticky baby dust...to tell you the truth i am struggling a bit...yesterday was my day 10 and on ivf usual usual bleed day. Was told by IM i WOULD NOT get AF on these meds so wass very surprised to see brown then bright pink yesterday in knickers . I called the clinic and thank goodness they were still open and they upped my meds. They said it could be a number of things but they did say mainly it was either the progesterone pessaries or the fact the embies needed more meds ( there is some good news)...Trying desperatly to hang on to this but still have bright pink 24 hours later :? ( as well as sore back ( of mt type) and hot sweats)
Gosh i hate this 2ww stuff...Hoping and praying embies are okay and it's just a mother nature thing  4 days to test day ... and am hang in ther just ( or on there don't know which) :?

catch ya all later

love to everyone jen x x x x

Hi girls

Sorry have been missing. Saturday night was to much fun and i'm still suffering--my own fault though. We didnt get home until after 4, would have been 5 with the clocks changing--very naughty but everyone said i was just like my old self and then arrived Sunday---wow, couldnt get out of bed. I am just not a drinker and wont be doing that again.

So op is tomorrow, not really bothered and not worried as i will be asleep. Once they put the needle in the back of my hand then i can chill. Should be out by teatime, just depends on what number i am on the list. Just hoping they dont find any problems.

Jen - Oh Jen, i know how hard it is but you are nearly there babe. As IM say this could be anything and probably a good thing. Remember we are all different. I didnt bleed but still got a bfn, your spotting and cramping IS something GOOD. Here if you need me babe.

Carolyn - So glad your doing fine on the patches, cant believe its going so fast and you will be pupo soon, bet to you it feels like you have been waiting for ages.

Gill - How you doing babe? What are your plans now, will you go for another cycle at IM before Xmas?

Rhall - Lucky girls with so many eggs, you want to rent some outlol. Glad everything went well for you.

Kelly - Hugs to you, know how hard it is but glad you have an appointment set up for Tuesday, good luck.

Hi to everyone

Forgot to say, i spoke to the lady at the party who deals with the fostering and adoption. When i told her we had applied, she said "i know", as she had seen my name and address. Anyway she said there are babies and your children and after 6 months of all the paperwork then they will match us up, this can take anything from a month to a year, depends on what children are available. She said to continue the process and dont give up as the s/w try to get the older kids adopted and push for this but she said to put our foot down and go for what WE want not them. Just waiting on first visit, might be in the next couple of weeks.

Love Jen x

Hello brave ones, its me fellow brave one back again

before I say anything else, just Jen, hugs and kisses and hang on in there I have now added to the brave ones thinking of you.

Wanted to let you all know that I had to go off and lick my wounds after the m/c in Summer, as it meant the end of the hope to give Joshi a true sibling, however I have come to the philosophic conclusion that as we are apatchwork family anyway (dh has twins aged 19 they are super, and an important if not so often here part o the family) that its not important and its love that counts. So we are doing a fresh cycle this November at ISIDA Kiev, travelling 8th to 18th with expected EC / TESE for dh on 10th November. Our donor is fantastic, sounds perfect, so I am very up beat about it all. Am on a long protocol so that runs (is running) 15th october onwards, very clever got me an 18mm endometrium last time. DH is a complete hero going thu TESE again, taking the VITs and abstaining from all that can harm...

Love and kisses to all, stay cool and stay on it!
