First of all CONGRATS MELINDA!!!!

That is GREAT!!! SO EXCITED for you!!!!!!!!!! I knew you were BFP!!

Sorry I've been gone so long!!! We had a family emergency, so I haven't been able to be on here! I got my beta done late, which made me get the news today instead of yesterday. Unfortunately we are a BFN this time around. I pretty much expected that, but I've had lots of time to accept it, and I'm doing well. It's already been such a LONG road for us, but it'll just have to be a little longer.
Thankyou all so much for your support, kindness, and prayers. I do believe in the power of prayers, and to me, when it's the right time, God will do his work! It's funny, even though we all have never physically met, I feel like I've known you all so long! I know you are all wonderful people!
mimi77, I'll still check this board everyday to send you my thoughts, hoping for it to be your month!!
Melinda--let us know which board you go to now that you are Preggo

so we can see how your pregnancy is progressing!
As for me, I do believe we are going to try FET as soon as we can!!

fhl-i am so sorry about eveything that has been going on for you i do also belive in the power of prayer me and dh has had a very long road ahead of us we have been trying for 8 years but our 1st attempt of ivf! i feel like i do know you also i told my dh tonight i had been doin a lot of thinking of you these last couple of days hoping everything was fine!!!!please keep me updated on how everthing is going for you and i will keep you and your family in my prayers!!!!!!god bless melinda

fhl, i too am sorry to hear of your trying times. i am a firm believer in everything happening for a reason and in God's time. so hang in there and remember despite all the doctors and procedures God is in control. "we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him". romans 8:28. (read this recently in an infertility article). let us know when you know about your next cycle. i have been thinking a ton about you the past few days.

As much as I am trying to stay positive about all this, it is hard, but coming on here and talking with you all makes it much easier being that you all know what I am going through! I have a follow up appt. in a couple weeks, so we'll discuss having FET then. Definetely just have to move forward!! I do believe everything happens for a reason, and God will only give me as much as I can handle. Those two meanings get me through a lot!
Ok, on to the positive side!! How you feeling Melinda??? Wow you said 8 years of TTC...this is DEFINETELY your time!!!!! We've been TTC close to 5 years and I thought I was going crazy!! Have you told anyone yet or are you waiting a bit??
Mimi...how many more days of waiting do you have??? Should be getting close now!!!

fhl, we do know what you are going through and are sorry for your pain. you sound like you are doing well and keeping the faith, that's the most important thing.

melinda, it's fun to hear you talk about the shock of it all and how excited you are. you probably won't believe it until you start to show or feel the baby kick! big smile on my face.

well, only 4 more full days until my b/w. i will have b/w on monday, but they won't call until the 2nd on wednesday. just trying to keep busy and not think about it too much. to tell you the truth, i have a good feeling about this one...hoping i'm not setting myself up for too big a fall, but they always are aren't they?

Well just an update on things....
I had a total of 30 follies!!! 20 in the left, and 10 in my right!
My retrieval was on the 11/01 with a total of 9 eggs.
Today I got a call from andrology telling me that 8 were successfully fertilized and doing really good! Next week on Tuesday is the big day! 2 of the embryos will be transfered, and the rest of them stored away...for some other time.
I guess the 2 weeks deal is horrible, but hopefully everything works out.

Just a question, since I've started my progesterone shots it seems like after about an hour I get itchy skin on my arms and legs. Is this normal? I'm just a little concern that I'm having an allergic reaction or something.....

full of hope, it sounds like you are having an allergic reaction to the progesterone. it probably isn't the progesterone itself, but the oil it is in. is it in sesame oil or peanut oil? i had this happen to me with sesame oil and was switched to olive oil, no problems now. the longer it goes without you talking to re or pharmacists the worse the itching will get...i waited a long time because i went a whole 6 wks before using sesame oil with no reaction, so i didn't think i was allergic. call re or pharm. right away!

well, just 3 more full days! ahh, they seem to just drag don't they? i'm really hoping for bfp, but am nervous even then. i am afraid of another m/c so i don't think i will rest easy until i hear a heartbeat. my re doesn't do that until 7 wks, so that is still another 3 wks IF i get a bfp. will we ever relax?
