hey ladies,

I am glad everyone is doing great. I have also heard that there are a lot more boys born with ICSI. I don't have swollen feet yet but I do feel him move a lot everyday. It is awsome.

Can not wait to hold him in my arms. 19 more weeks to go.

Hi!

I'm 20 wks and still haven't felt any movements or gas bubbles. Is that normal? Anybody else feel the movements later than 20 weeks? My stomach is definitely popping out more. No swollen ankles yet though. However, I've been having lower back aches from laying on my side at night.

Hi Ladies
Not been here for a while as weve had computer trouble but back now and have just been catching up on everyones posts.

Wow cant believe we are all nearly half way there..if not further.
I had another scan last week and both babies are doing very well. Heard the hb for the very first time which was truley amazing.

Have had some slight movements...which feels very strange...there def not kicks more like a tightning of the tummy but from the inside and some bubbling, cant feel anything on the outside of my bump yet..dh cant wait till i do.

Have my next scan...the big one where they measure everything on the 7the Novenber and then evry 4 weeks from then till im 32 weeks then every 2 weeks.

Getting very big already can only fit into maternity clothes now and have finally started buying baby things...this is all sooooo exciting.

By the way anyone who cycled in june/july...carebare kerribell ect,
Just read mybabys message! how fantastic, so pleased it finally happened for her :D :D

Lots of love

Just got back from my 19 week ultrasound and IT'S A GIRL!!!! We are so thrilled. I secretly wanted a girl, but would have been happy with either. They said everything looks good!! We saw her feet and hands- 10 fingers!!
Annag, I haven't felt movement yet. The sonographer said today that my placenta is on top of my uterus (near my bellybutton) so it will be longer until I feel movement- the placenta acts as a cushion. So, I'm not worried. Hope everyone else is well. I'm so happy to hear about mybaby- will try to find her post.

Congrats on the girl jennifer.
I don't have any problem with swelling as of yet. One complaint so far is pain in the area of my gall bladder. I have heard that pregnancy can lead to gall bladder problems. I only hurts when I sit, and usually about 1:00 pm on. Standing and lying down does not cause problems.
Anna, I too have back pain from lying on my side. I also have a problem staying there. I keep waking up all night lying on my back. I've tried pillows as wedges and in the end I seem to maneuver around them. I know your not suppose to lay on your back, but does anyone know if it will cause a big problem if I keep ending up there?

Kerri- I keep waking up on my back, too. I have read that it's okay if you do, just flip on to your side when you wake up. I am a huge back sleeper, so it's hard to get used to side sleeping- my arms and hands keep falling asleep and I wake up with tingling. I'm not even sure where the gallbladder is, but I do have little cramps almost everyday- just little twinges that hurt a little. I hope that's normal. I also have pretty bad round ligament pain- that's a sharp stabbing pain. I am trying to be careful when standing up quickly. You might want to call your OB about the gallbladder.
Laurie- are you going to find out what the twins are?

Hi All
Im too having the back sleeping problem....im constantly waking up on my back, ive tried pillows, cushions even my dh props himself up behind me but i still end up rolling onto it.
Hant heard it causes any damage though, just thought that it was cos its harder to breath when on your back!

Talking of breathing, im getting out of breath in the evenings quite a bit, like not being able to catch my breath, does anyone else have this?
And heartburn has really started to kick in now, again mostly in the evenings.

Jen...i personally would love to find out the sex of the babies when we go for our next scan,,but dh is really really against it!
He says that we should wait and enjoy the suprise when there born.
But after having 2 boys...1 husband...and 1 male dog!!...i just want to know if im getting a girl

Love to you all

hey girls, i'm sorry i havent posted in a while.... i have some news . I am in the hospital... i have been for the last 10 days when my water broke on the baby boy. right now the babies are still doing well and growing. unfortunately they will be born probably within the next few weeks. ( and i am here in the hospital for the duration of my pregnancy) they really need to make it at least two more weeks before i go into labor but it could be at anytime. I am optimistic now that i am hitting the 23 week mark... I get the steroid shot sunday at 12 30 am...
Anyway please keep us in your prayers. if will power and prayers have anything to do with it they will stay in for several more weeks!!!! my long term goal right now is thanksgiving.

I dont want to upset any of you... i just wanted to update. the odds of this happening are so remote... its so crazy. If i could have chosen my worst nightmare this would be it.
Anyway, i am confident the babies are going to make it to viability, but they will have a long fight. so please like i said, pray for us and our babies.... It would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Dixie
Just read your message and had to reply. Im so sorry that your in the hospital but my thoughts and prayers are with you, dh and your little ones.
We have been blessed this far with our little ones and i know your strong and you will all come through this, just keep them in there for a little while longer.
You are in the best possible place and i know they will be doing all they can for you, but i know you must still be going out of your mind with worry.
Hey just think, 15 years from now when you catch them smoking or bunking off school you will look back on this and laugh :)

Dixie..rest, and please keep the happy thoughts going...i will be thinking of you.

Dixie- Hang in there. Don't those babies know they are southern? Southerners are stubborn and have a lot of fight in them!! We can get through anything!! Please know you're in my thoughts and prays here in Atlanta- please keep us posted, if you can.

Dixie,
I'm sorry to hear that you are having to go through this right now. My thoughts and prayers will be with you and your family. I guess those babies figured out what a good mom you are going to be and want to come on out and meet you.

Hi Dixiegal, I'm sending my prayers to you & your babies. I too have spent some time in the hospital due to my pregnancy. I was only in for 4 days due to my blood pressure getting extremely high, 170/130. I'm now at home on bed rest for the remainder of my pregnancy. I've been told to expect an early delivery as well. Good luck to you and your babies.
