Where can men chat ?

Hi, As we did IVF DH is feeling as though it is not also his baby since he did'nt personnally get me pregnant? Has anyone else had this from their partners? Is there a site where there is a thread for men to post? Shell, you had once mentioned another site, which I looked at at the time and think there was a thread for men. Could you let me know the name please ? Thanks ! Susi 15 weeks today

Hello! My hubby doesn't feel that way, but he is thinking of writing a book about it, as men can feel a bit out of it, depending on their consultants, nurses etc. I think the FF site has a page for men, could be worth a peak (can never get on with FF myself, but loads of others prefer it to here). Good luck in your quest! How are you feeling by the way, sickness etc fading? Bump growing?! D x

Yeah I do also use www.fertilityfriends.co.uk and I do like it, it does take some getting used to it and the girls are lovely. I do like may b baby as well and this but its everyone to there own. I agree with Dawn though a man does have a different opinion to us women, but Lee doesn't feel like this and its such a shame your DH does because at the end of the day you just needed a little help getting where you are. Hi Dawn n Shell, Thanks for the information , will have DH look at the sites and then he can take it from there.. It is a shame he feels like this, but I think men do feel removed from the pregnancy anyway but the IVF has just made it more extreme for DH. In the meantime, I feel fine and have no sickness at all anymore. Had a panic 10 days ago since lost 3 lbs in just over a week - was convinced it was all over and now it is all back in the form of a bigger belly ! Have now got some maternity clothes and so feel better as nothing fits anymore. Have been following the posts and it's great that everyone is doing well and more babies are here ! Cannot believe it that we are going to be so lucky and am scared at the same time - do you guys have that too ? Well will see how DH gets on Love 2 all S 15 weeks today!

hi susi my dh has just finished reading an excellent book called "You're Pregnant too mate!" by Gavin Rodgers. Its the essential guide for expectant fathers. Its bright pink with a picture of a preganant man on the front!! You can't miss it if you walk into Waterstones! I've started reading it and its really good. It looks at everything from a male point of view and is generally a really good read. Maybe you could buy it for him as a little pg present!! love nikola.xx

Lucky you Susi with your big bump, I am 16 weeks tomorrow and still not showing when I am clothed - would it offend if I get the train in just my underwear do you think???! Maybe not! Where did you get your mat clothes by the way? Nikola - thanks for the book tip, could be a stocking filler for DH, Amazon here I come! Hope you are both feeling fab - I am still getting sicky, more so now than pre 12 weeks, hope it subsides soon. Best wishes Dawn

Hi Dawn Cannot believe that you are not showing at 16 weeks. Rest assured this must be better than me as I think if I'm this big now what will I be like in 5 months time !? Could be my age as I am 39.5 or 1,896 weeks

Went to the supermarket today and nearly took advantage of the maternity favoured line. Cannot help you about mat clothes as I live in Portugal . Did get a nice skirt at C&A (are they still open in the UK) though. Also H&M had some good things too. Cheap and cheerful for the most part . Too much polyester on the other! On the brite side no sickness .. Hope you show soon Susi
