Tilly-Were you awake for the ER? Why wouldn't your RE go get more eggs? Anyway, I am keeping your 5 eggies in my prayers.
Vickers-Wahoo! great numbers-I know of women that have gotten pg w/ day 3 and 5 transfers-day 5 is optimal.
kellyM-Looks like your new cycle is off to a good start, I don't know how you do it and stay sane.
Jenbabes-Where are you and what is your update?
As for me out of my 7 eggs, 6 were mature. 5 have fertilized and my RE said they are doing really well as of yesterday (Friday). We went ahead and scheduled the ET for tomorrow (Sunday) at 7:15AM with the hopes that we get sent home. My RE scheduled a 3 day transfer just in case but is really oprimistic that ET will actually be on Tuesday. She said that if my embies continue doing well that we will wait until Tuesday to allow for mor cook time. I have my fingers crossed that my DH will be enjoying breakfast tomorrow instead of ET. keep us in your prayers.

Vickers - I once read a great article about the benefits on 5 day transfers. It can be a confronting read if you prefer 3 day transfers.

The 2 clinics I have been with basically do 5 days unless the eggs are pretty low grade. Even at the risk of only having 1 left. I prefer 5 day, because I want the best possible egg to go back.
The doc explained to me once, that it depends on the culture a clinic uses to develop the eggs. We are pretty lucky here in Australia - clinics have to follow pretty strict legilsation and our health system covers part of the cost. One clinic I went to had it's blast culture patented because it was so succsseful in developing eggs to day 5 and they had high success rates in live births.
I am feeling great physically - no cramps and the bloating has basically gone. I go from worry, to "whatever", to sadness. HURRY UP WED!!!!!

Well, we completed ET today of the three embryo's 1 had fragmentation and most likely will not result in a BFP, the other two they said are about as good as they get. So the big decision was to trasfer all three back now we are on strict bed rest for two days, then two days of very limited activities. We will have our first beta on 11/15 with a second following on 11/17.

Tilly-We are 2ww buds. I also had my ET today. I had 2 embies that were good enough to transfer. One was 8-cell, grade 1 or B depending on which scoring system your RE uses and the other was a 9-cell grade 1 also. First beta is on 11/15-Praying for a miracle.
Vickers-Your embies look great. You will be joing Tilly and I on the 2ww very soon. You said they were all grade 1, Does your RE start the grade at 0 or 1? Obviously you won't be transfering them all will you be "freezing" the rest?

wannabe - This is finally Vickersx3s wife. I have been reading your replies or at least my dh tells me about them. You ladies are a great group and it is nice to talk to other people who are going through the same thing my friends who all have kids don't understand the physical, emotional struggle this is.
To give you background about our fertility struggle. We have been married for almost 10 years w/ no birth control. It has resulted in my being pregnant twice both resulting in ectoptic pregnancies.
To answer your question wannabe our doctor will only transfer 2 for my group (under 35). We will freeze the rest and if by chance we get a bfn (were praying it won't be) we will do this over again w/ those. If we get a bfp and it results in twins then we will probably donate our embroys. Because we will be done and we know there are people out there who can use them and we know how it feels to be in their shoes.
I will pray for great answers for you all!!!!

As for me had an app.on friday.Doc said everything is looking good.Today should be my last u/s and EC on Wednesday, 7th.
Keeping my fingers croos for a good result.
Yesterday just had the news that my causin is pregnant.I'm happy for her but now i know that my mum will be in my case now.She doesn't know that we are going thru IVF/ICSI.She keeps telling me when i'm giving her grandson/granddaughter....You know what i mean....
Anyway,keeping PMA!!!!

Hi everyone
I had my first blood test today. Sadly - progesterone was 55 which they said was good, but the pg hormone was only 2.
I am 7dp6dt so a BETA of 2 really is too low to have any hope. I feel just numb and empty. I've had IVF with 2 different partners and the problem seems to be my body rejecting my little eggs.
I have another test on Wed, but have no hope. Sorry for the bummer ladies, I really wanted to post a BFP and give hope.
Hang in there everyone else. I'm taking break from the IVF world.

sorry i have not been on the boards i was away at parents house for my dads birthday and it was a 5 hr drive due to traffic..
I FINALLY got my results back on Friday at 5.45pm and i have a postive BFP!!!! i am so thrilled but keeping ipraying as it was a low beta. Have redone my bloods today so have another 3-4 dy wait until results back. Hope embies are just growing slowly x x x
