Hi Girls

Chriss- Good for you doing yoga, I too do yoga and swear by it, I find it really helps me especially when I’m feeling a bit down. I do a double session on Friday nights its great, I come home so chilled and always sleep so well.

Gill – That is such an amazing thing to do, well done, good luck with test tomorrow.

Rhall – wow great number, rest up and take care. The waiting is just so hard not long now.

Sonia – Hope you had a great weekend away.

Kelly- Good luck for your next scan, great number of follies well done, hope your puppy is OK.

Andrea – Good luck with decision making it’s a tough one, I found it hard to make my decision, the fact DH and I only have 3 tubes of sperm left swung it for me, otherwise I think I may have had a couple more goes with my eggs.

BigJ – Good luck with treatment, hope you have a good trip and all flights are one time.

JenBabes - FANTASTIC NEWS I’m so so so so happy for you.

Carolyn – great news about lining, look after yourself you will be off to Spain before you know it. I know what you mean about waiting I’m crap and so inpatient when it comes to anything to do with IVF.

Jen1- Sorry to hear your feeling down, good luck with your appointment.

Lucy – your first appointment will be here before you know it.

As for me, I’ll start by apologising for being such a crap poster lately, I promise to be more supportive. I Know its no excuse but things have been so busy lately, plus been feeling peed off.

My trial finished AF took its time to come and brought the most horrendous PMT ever, I’ve been the most miserable bad tempered cow for about 10 days, I was glad when AF arrived and I started to feel normal again. Anyway IVI phoned to say sperm arrived safely, I gave them my results from trial which they were happy with but informed me it may even be March before I get a donor and therefore ET would be April, not great news to get in the middle of raging PMT I can tell you, and to top it off every post I’ve been following on girls at IVI Madrid say they don’t seem to get many eggs and hardly ever freeze. Freezing was something I was counting on especially with my sperm situation. I know there is never any guarantees when it comes to freezing which ever clinic your at, but it left me feeling is this the clinic for me! So DH and I have decided to email Mr Trew my consultant here with our concerns before we make any further decisions. Watch this space the sperms travels may not be over!

Anyway enough of me moaning, take care.

I still can't quite believe it My beta of 13 dp fertilisation was a low 20 so bloods have been taken again this morning...I now have another 2-3 day wait until i find out if beta is doubling...
BUT...as I have been here at this stage twice before ( tho not in the womb) i know its a waiting gane ans stressing aint gonna help...
I HAVE SO MUCH HOPE and FAITH in this fighter embie...we are gonna make it x x x

Real quickie as at work. Hope that you all had a good weekend

IM sent me a response this morning to my e-mail from Friday. Simply said that my donor is doing fine and that I should expect to be there at some stage this week. CRICKEY! Theylll call me the moment that they know more.

Better that they focus on the donor rather than me at this stage. Way more important so just trying to take it a day at a time and get as ready to go as I possibly can. DH even got some clothes ready last night and he never plans anything. Wrote an e-mail thank you to our donor and translated into Spanish. Made me very emotional. Hope that it finds its way to her. They said that it would but you never know.

Rhall - guess I may be away for your test day. All the luck in the world. Let's hope that the BFPs keep coming

JB - so hope that the number doubles and they don't keep you waiting too long for the result. Everything crossed for you hun

Poochie - so sorry about all the waiting. If you want to know about IM instead then just shout. Hang in there babe and hope that Trewster can help out

BigJ - thanks for the info. Sounds very similar. Given me hope that it worked for you guys. Hoping it is not too bad as IM have said that we will have to use Fresh each time so dh knows that he will likely have to go through it again! Much luck for this week for you both. Our dates could be very similar

Sorry that I am going to have limited time to do personals and they are going to be 'me' posts over next week but sense that it is all going to get rather busy for me & dh.

I went in for my day 10 u/s and things are moving along for me, albeit a bit slower than usual. They say 4 follies on the left and 6 follies on the right so I have gained a follie. They are all pretty much in the same size range (1.3 to 1.6) with one being 0.8. So I am pretty happy with that! I go back on Wednesday for another u/s and then my guess would be that trigger would be Thursday or Friday with ER on Saturday or Sunday! I am putting a lot of faith into this round since it'll be my last with my eggs! Have to go now and order the DS.

its all go here, I'll do my best but please dont be offended if I miss you out, I read it all promised!!

Carolyn - we are cycling together , thats nice we can be belly buddies, and TESE buddies!!! (John Wayne walk is quite sweete really). Sounds like you are off then, super.
Jenb - I am praying for you, I have 2 m/c's behind me, so I do understand that a bfp is only the beginning in your world, but try and enjoy it for what it is. I look back on the last short but sweet pregnancy, and at least I had 4 weeks of euphoria before I landed with a thud, that's whats keeping me going now. This will be the one for you, its your turn babe.

everyone else, I am thinking of you all, keep at it and keep believing.

We had a bit of a blah today, ISIDA have abandoned our donor as she was not responding as they like, so we now have a replacement donor.
I am impressed as when I called they said she was responding but not enough, and they do not believe in cranking up the meds to force things, so they move to a new back up donor. Dont ask me how they do it, I am dead impressed. No extra cost to us, just means EC will be a bit delayed. However they go ahaead with TESE on 10th, so EC not far behind, they said I dont need to change my flights ( we had booked a 10 day window to b sure, unlike with IM as last minute flight to Kiev would be OUCH!! (plus youd never get an apartment). I guess thats one of the differences if you are still uming and ahing where to go - IM, IVI etc "promise" 1 good cycle with in and out timing which is brilliant if you are careering and leave is tough, ISIDA aim to give cycle plus frosties for 1 cycle if they can but no compromise on the biology, you need to book 10 days or so for a fresh cycle and get it really optimisd. I will meet a girl out there this time who is doing her whole stim there too -

neway - we are sorted for the moment just pray dodnor nr2 does the business bless her....this is our last fresh go thats for sure.

I had my blood tests done this morning for the bone marrow thing, I'll have to wait up to 12 weeks now to find out if I am the best match.
Nothing else happening with me, Im jut in limbo at the moment and not a very happy bunny(whats new! )

Well they called this evening. Dr Walker who we met when we were out there rang me. She had just mailed me as had written a short e-mail to our donor (made me very emotional). Managed to translate it into Spanish - sort of. She said that she would make sure that the lady got the note although they had to remove our names. The main thing is she knows that I thought of her.

Well she said that just after she had mailed me, she got news that another dr had seen my donor and she was ready to go! WOW. I felt like I was having a palpitation. So she said that we needed to be there for egg collection on Thursday when dh will have his TESA. Then I will have egg transfer on Saturday. Only bummer is that Valerie is away so no acupuncture after nagging everyone else to go

So called dh and got him on the case with travel plans. I have cancelled all meetings after tomorrow already. By the time I got home dh had found a hotel for us to stay - quite near clinic. We decided to stay somewhere nice and make a bit of a holiday of it. Places near the water were too expensive. Booked flights on air miles. Sorted. I am now finally quite excited about it all. Need to change my ticker and the board too.

I shall keep you all posted.
