Hi everyone!

I have been MIA for soooooo long. I half expected to log on and see everyone's babies born and eating solids already!

I want to send Dixiegal a mililion prayers to keep her little ones tight and snug inside. I'm quite emotional after reading what you are going through. You and your dh are in my thoughts and prayers. It's amazing how precious these little ones are to us all.

My twins are doing very well. Both dh and I are finally realizing we are having babies. We had a very detailed heart scan a few weeks ago with our fetal cardiologist and they are both in excellent health. We are having a little girl AND a little boy. Sabine Bronte and Zachary Sebastian. We finally ordered cribs last weekend and are starting to get hte nursery ready. Only 3 months left!!!! They have been kicking for some time and are really building up strength!

Anyone have good advise on twin strollers??? I've been recommended the Bob jogger and Macleran for everyday....Any others?

I'm going to try to be a better buddy and stay updated. I just started a new job and can't seem to get enough sleep. I wasn't nearly this tired lat pregnancy. I'll try to stay in touch better

I keep thinking we all still have 9 months left!

Baby blessings to everyone :D

Daly, good to hear from you. That's so exciting, a girl and a boy, congratulations!!! Yes, it is hard to believe that we are past the halfway point already!!! Now we're all getting exited to see our little bundles of joy and hold them in our arms.

I had another ultrasound on Monday and our little girl is still small for gestational age, so we're just going to keep an eye on her. I'll have another ultrasound in 3 weeks then will start bio-physical profiles soon after, partially due to my high blood pressure and partially due to her size.

Hope everyone is doing well. Keep us posted!

michelle, you hang in there... we are fast approaching the time where even if they come early they will be fine. just make sure your docs keep an eye on you!:)
DALY it was great to finally hear from you!you as well annag and sher.
I am so glad to have all of your support. The prayers and thoughts and well wishes are wonderful coming from all of my family and friends, but everyone here can truly understand and sympathize with me over all of this.

Now for the update :) i'm almost 24 weeks!!!!!! yeahhhhh! the docs say thats fantastic. ( especially considering the were giving up on me at first).
the babies are at least 1 pound 4 ounces each. still no sign of infection and very few contractions. I still need a couple to three more weeks to feel like things are easier but i'm calm and feel like it will all work out. heck its been 17 days already I can make it another 17. my mom is already planning to bring thanksgiving dinner here to the hospital! LOL.
Please keep us in your prayers! and keep me updated on how all of yall are doing. Its pretty boring here :)
thank you all

Hello everyone,

Sorry that I did not write earlier. dixiegal1 I am so sorry to hear on what is going on. My toughts and prayers are with you. I am sure you will get through this and you little ones are going to be ok. Just stay strong. I am glad that you made it to 24 weeks. Hang in there.

I went to see my midwife, 3 days ago and everything looks good. My little boy is kicking a lot and it feels great. According to U/S and my uterus I am measuring 24 1/2 weeks but according to my dates I am 22 1/2. Soo I guess it's better to measure ahead than behind.
I am also having a lot of leg cramps during night when I am asleep, so during day my calves are sore. My midwife reccommended to by arnica creme and use that.
Any of you experiencing anything like this?

Thanks

Tajma

Hello everyone!

Everybody's very quiet these days. I wanna bump us up a little to the top so we March mommies don't get lost down there.

Dixiegal, I'm so happy you're doing great. Keep taking care of your babies and yourself. I constantly look for updates from you. How are you dealing with the hospital stay? I hope you're not too bored.

As for myself, I'm doing good. The baby has been moving a lot and it feels great. I've been getting constant bouts of heartburn at night. NO leg cramping though. The belly's definitely gettng bigger and bigger and feels stretched all the time. Has anybody tested for the glucose tolerance test yet? I'm scheduled in a couple of weeks. Have any of you guys bought anything for the nursery or have gotten things ready? With the holidays just around the corner, we're probably gonna do the nursery after the new year. We've also decided to name our little girl Ava Madelyn.

Anyway, hope everyone is doing well!!!

Hi everyone,

I am glad everyone is doing ok. Dixiegal1 how are you doing?
I am doing ok. Getting bigger everyday. I still have leg cramps especially at night. I have not bought anything for nursery yet. Our plan is to do it in mid January so that way it gives us 4-6 weeks before my due date. But I have been looking around and I love babies r us. So probably I will get a lot of stuff there.

Everyone else please let us know how you are doing.

Hello all!

I have started looking at things for the nursery and strollers, etc. It seems so overwhelming. Especially when I go to babies r us...they have so many things there. My dh and I have been pouring over baby name books...also very exhausting. Anna, I like the name you picked out for your daughter. Tajma, I too have been having some leg cramping at night while sleeping. It seems worse the more I have been on my feet that day.
Dixie, I hope things are going well for you. I've been looking for an update.
I hope all is well for everyone else. March will be here before we know it.

Hello All,

Cute name selection Anna.

I am feeling pretty well these days. Had some back trouble last week (couldn't walk) and called the doctor. He said I must have pulled something since I did not have any bleeding or contractions. I was relieved since I thought it might be something serious.

Our little girl has seen my belly and knows that "something" is up. I will begin to tell her that she will have a baby brother or sister soon. She is going to go nuts for this baby! She just loves her pretend babies.

I feel so big already and cannot imagine what I will be like in the last few weeks. I'm measuring a little bigger than last time. This baby is quite active also. DH thinks it's a boy this time.

My glucose test is next Thursday. I'm not anticipating any trouble with that. Good luck everyone.

Hi ladies!

I just had my glucose test last week and was told they would call me if any problems. So, I'm feeling pretty good. Yeah, I dont' knwo what I would do with sugar restrictions! It tastes absolutley disquisting. (but I'm not a coke/pepsie/orange cola drinker - so maybe I'm a harsh critic)

For any of you with leg cramps. Ask your ob-gyn if you can take a calcium magnesium supplement at night. It can work magic.

Dixiegal - Sending you tons of prayers for your little miracles. Grow babies grow :)

Huge hello and happy belly rubs to everyone.

Hello all :)

Its been a while since i posted but then everyones been pretty quite....
Hope everyones well.

Well im nearly 25weeks now and seem to be growing by the day....honestly im HUGE!!.
Both the babies are moving alot, esp at night when im trying to sleep, but i dont mind its lovely to feel them. My dh didnt feel them for a while, every time i said ooh there kicking he would put his hand on my bump and they would stop...haha...but now he feels them all the time.

Im having scans every four weeks and the moment but will be moving to 2 weekly scans from32 weeks, as long as i go that far.

Everyone keeps telling me how early twins come and its making me nervous...as im 28 weeks on christmas eve!

We have nearly finished buying everything for the babies now(i started early)..just waiting for my Phil&Teds Twin pram to arrive which will be here the first week in Jan.
Dh has bought so may toys its unreal, think these babies might get spoilt a bit.
Im feeling kinda ok in myself...quite tired alot...all the baby books i read say i should be feeling great with lots of energy now, so i dont know if it differs with twins, and im having terrible pains in my hand/wrist/arm at night. Its starts with my hand going numb then the pains start. Apparently according to my midwife its called Carpel Tunnel Syndrome and is supposed to go once babies are born....its not very plesent.

Anyway, ive rattled on long enough now....how is everyone?
Dixie how are you doing, how are the babies. My thoughts are with you evey day, and im always looking for updates from you.

Hope to here fom you all soon

Can I possibly be pregnant???

Post by sharishu »

Hi, ladies, sorry to butt into this pregnancy thread, but I have a question re: symptoms during 2ww post ET.

1) Did anyone have cramping during the 2ww? Mine is moderate to mildly painful pressure at times <'similar' to pre-period cramps>

2) Okay this is admittedly silly, but we are wont to be silly during the 2ww. My hair shed a LOT today in the shower, and I was told that during pregnancy hair does not shed. Is that later on in pregnancy, or even in the first few weeks?

Thanks for any and all help!!!! I know y'all remember the pins and needles of that 2ww

Shari

P.S. Congrats to all you guys!! I love reading your stories, they are so freakin' inspiring! Lots of luck with your pregnancies/births/mommyhood!

Shari,

I did not have many symptoms and the ones that I did have I think were related to the progesterone supplements (low back pain, sore bbs). My lower abdomen was sore in the beginning, but I think that was from the ER. I did not have any cramping, but I am not usually a cramper during AF. I mainly tried not to overanalyze everything and just tried to take it easy during the 2ww. I wish you the best of luck.
