Hey guys
Good info on the swelling. I havent been able to wear my rings and it drives me nuts. People look at that and they seem to say "oh your pg and not married-huh" with their eyes!!! LOL I just have a plain band I got for now.

Christine
You are right. We have come a long way and it is sooo exciting to think that in a few months we will be holding our wonderful babies-speaking of which all of you need to set up a free blog page so we can see each others babies!!! I can't wait!

Rikirees
I also love looking at the blog that you have set up-I go there every day to check on Sarah's progress. I sit in amazement each time I look at her. How wonderful! I am so happy for you that she is doing so well. You must be thrilled at the progress that she has been making.

Malinka
I have also been laying when I can. These days I cant over ride the need to sit or lay down. It is a necessary action. My back is so out of control I sure wish I could get some relief somewhere.

Noodle
Oh I see....sorry I was like who is Josh? LOL I totally understand about the hormones messing up your brain! It is bad these days. I am forgetting things that I would never forget!

Good Morning All...I'm going through withdrawals....I need updates ladies!

TansRN- I think the same thing when I don't have my wedding rings on, I wear my 5 year anniversary ring, normally wear on my right hand on my left...looks like an engagement ring and I still get looks...LOL

ChristineB- everyone at work makes fun of me because I'm still wearing sandals...my feet are so hot, swell at least twice a day and got a size bigger, so my reg shoes don't even fit now....oh it's all worth it when I feel her move...Are you excited for the Pats game this weekend? I'm not a fan of either team and am still excited for the game, should be a fun event!

Malinka- thanks for the advice, unfortunately we've been good for the last couple of weeks...I've been having mild lower ab pains and DH is scared. I'm going to try and get a U/S on Monday, I go for gluecous test and reg check up, I think it's happen just because she's getting bigger. But I would feel better with a scan.

My2LnT- I get the bad swelling when I get really hot or like you said standing too long...do you get the tingling also, that's usually my cue to sit.

Rikireers- I love seeing little Sarah daily...so beautiful!

wannabeone & jovigal...any updates

All is well here, DH Birthday and Halloween went off without a hitch. The concert lasted until 2 AM...sooooo tired, even today. Also alot of heavy movement last night and she would sleep, infact at one moment I thought she was trying to climb out via belly button....cannot complain though if she wasn't moving I'd be nervous. Have a great weekend everyone!

Hi Noodle - I hope you get to have your scan on Monday and a great checkup. Hopefully the pains are just the muscles stretching to prepare you for childbirth. And yes we are excited about the Patriots. It will definitely be the matchup of the season! I'm feeling fine thankfully except for feeling incredibly tired come mid-afternoon everyday. So when our first DD is napping in the afternoon I often let myself shut my eyes for a few minutes. I don't nap long at all - always been a cat-napper. I didn't get tired like this when I was PG with our first DD. And thankfully I'm not working this time - I would find it quite a challenge. My next checkup is Nov 13th. After that I will be on the 2 week or 1 week checkup schedule with time on the Fetal Monitor as my due date gets closer.

Well I hope you have a wonderful weekend. Looking forward to updates from all the other lovely ladies! Take Care!

Hey guys

Noodle
I know what you mean about the baby moving. I feel the same way. Sometimes I am like ok ok I get it! Then they stop and I am like keep moving babies! LOL Cant make up my mind. I love it though because it reassures me that they are doing well. Glad that things went well for you at your concert...lots of fun Im sure. That was funny about the ring! It is weird how people still look to that isnt it? They have no clue my freakin hands are swelled up like water logged hot dogs!!

Christine
Good to hear from you...we are getting closer arent we with the every other week appt's and stuff. They really keep us busy with all of these checks. I am not complaining but it is busy!!!

I stopped into the clinic today and they got their DVD hooked up on the 3D ultrasound machine so they are going to redo mine on Nov 12th. I also have a BPP that day as well as a doc appt. This coming monday I go in for another BPP. I will have the good tech. Not the crappy I dont give a rip one. That is a bonus. After my next appt I will be on the weekly schedule to see the doctor. I am swelled up and my back is killing me. I have also been having a lot of the braxton hicks contractions. Not a lot of fun I assure you. I have been feeling more miserable by the day and now the good days are far and few between. I just want to see and hold my babies. It has to be easier than lugging them around in a big ball in my low front!!!! LOL

Hello everyone....hope you all are doing well. I had DR Monday, gluecous test....boy was that yummy...I almost refunded. all else was good but still haven't heard what the results are, oh well...something else to worry about. Little drama, my sis backed out of registering with me on Sat, doesn't bother/surprise me but with the hormones....cannot stop tearing up! I'm more worried about the shower, she's suposed to help MIL, and if she flakes on that (cannot choose your family, oh well).

Hey guys....

I bought the boys aquadots for christmas and they really wanted them. Anyhow if you dont know they are supposedly coated in the date rape drug. So if your kids licks his fingers or swallows a bead they go into a coma and can possibly die. I am so mad about this. They really wanted them so badly and with the babies coming especially I dont want them to eat the beads...I am not to worried about the boys eating them but I certainly dont want them playing with tainted toys...I am going nuts here. Just when you think you have a good gift for the kids. Look at all the crap that is coming out of china lately with the lead paint and now this....sad.

Noodle
i know what you mean about the tears-I have been crying a lot lately...partly due to hormones, partly due to dealing with this unrelenting back pain! Cant get comfy...you know how it goes. anyhow-I am sorry that you are having trouble with the shower. Some people. I had a hard time with some of my family members coming through for me and I did most of it with my friend. Fun Fun. Hey at least it was how I wanted it to go! LOL I started using a motto I saw somewhere.... Friends are the family we get to choose for ourselves. I have gone by it since then and it has made my life better and more managable. Then I dont have to count on people who let me down all the time!

Hello everyone,

It's been a long time.....I know! I try to check in and read your posts and I only get to be on for a min. at the most. Things have been really busy with my daughters school work and projects....It's so difficult with twins and all the work this year. They have separate teachers that are both very demanding. I've also been really busy at work training my replacement and working with auditors on year-end stuff.

My pregnancy is going wonderful. I'm 32 weeks now and have had no complications dispite what I was told I would because of my Type I diabetes. 'Sweet Pea' is 4lbs 1oz as of today and doing great. I'm very uncomfortable at night....but, it comes with the territory! I've gained 26 lbs. and counting. I'm sure I will hit about 35 before it's all over, but I don't mind. As of this week I will have weekly visits at both my OB and perionatologist....ooohh joy! They will be doing the NST and BPP (NST at OB and BPP at the specialist). So I'm looking forward to meeting my baby soon.

Have any of you had baby showers yet? I've had one and am having another one this Saturday and another one at work Dec. 6, a week before I leave. So exciting.....

My C-Section is scheduled for Jan 4, but I'm hoping for a December delivery date.

I see everyone is doing well. Rikireese, congratulations on your daughters arrival. You and your family have certainly been through so much and I'm so glad you had such a happy ending. I will try to catch up on previous post to see what I've missed.

Mattie

That is great that you will be able to hear the hb's of your babies. That is a sound that never gets old eh? I liked being hooked up to that monitor to be able to see both of them at the same time. Its neat.

Mattie
Glad that things are going so well for you. That is great that you are cooking right along! My friends are doing a baby shower for me tomorrow and I am really excited about it. I can't wait to see everyone together. It is a good feeling to have all of your friends in the same room to celebrate with you. I know what you mean about a December birthday for your baby. My doc was like you can have the c-section on Jan 2nd and i was like what and miss out on the tax deductions? I dont think so! LOLOL just kidding....I wanted it to be the week that all of my family was off of work- A-so they can help me and B-so they could come see the babies. It means a lot to me to have them there. It is exciting tho that the day is fast approaching! I hope that you have fun at your shower. I am looking forward to hearing how it went.

I have a doc appt on Monday as well as a repeat 3d ultrasound. I am so excited about it and to be able to see them again will be great. I dont know when I will add the NST into the BPP. I will have to ask. I have still been having bad back pain as well as contractions here and there and they do not feel too good. Oh well. At least the babies are doing well. I will give an update over the weekend I m sure. Hope that the rest of you are doing well.

Hi Ladies,

I am 33 weeks this week. All is still going well. I think about you all a lot, but just haven't checked in lately.

I have this weird feeling that I'm going to go early, but it's based on nothing except I can't imagine growing anymore.

Malinka - how do you know how much the baby weighs?

Hi Ladies,

Just checking in and it's nice to see some good updates. I have my 32 week checkup tomorrow so we will see how I've progressed. We went to a Childbirth Refresher class last week since there have been a few changes at the hospital since we had our DD. I'll send an update tomorrow. Take Care Ladies!

Hey guys...
Christine
Glad that you went for the class eh? That is great that you got the latest and greatest at the hospital!

Wannabe
When I go for u/s they do certain measurements of the babies-head, femur-etc. Then they can estimate a weight of the babies. My tech thinks that the babies will be about 7 lbs. each. It is only an estimated guess. I understand what you are saying about getting so big. I really do....

Hi all...we are doing well. Went to breastfeeding basics yest, vey good, I would highly recommend to all. I want so badly to be able, I've read 3 books and now that DH got some education around it, I know he'll be very supportive and an advocate.

Christine- we also have been going to the child birth classes at our hospital, we have to go 4 weeks though...1st timer. It goes through lamaze and basic child care and boy oh boy the videos......

TansRN- wow that's great 7lbs, my GF had twins 3.5lbs each taken at 31 weeks. the pics are great!

wannabeone- I keep thinking I'm going early also....so does everyone else (I'm huge!), oh well, I'm still exercising but that just usually causes me to eat more.

Malinka- I love hearing the HB...now every 2 weeks, very comforting.

MDTerry- hope not too personal, did they schedule C, solely based on your diabetes? since the preg is going well??

Rikirees- hope your doing well and your baby is growing and growing

We watched Knocked up over the weekend...very funny movie but of course I still cried...FYI I have cried during both the labor video and the breatfeeding video----
