hi Tina - I also wanted to reassure that the EC doesn't hurt. I am a big fan of the general anaesthetic - have a had few in my time (removal of fibroids etc - what fun!) - some girls are semi conscious - but I prefer to be out for the count and then you know nothing about it.

We'll be with you every step. I see you have PCOS like me - often it means a good number of eggs are collected.

I also checked out Lucy , Meg - what a cutie although I couldn't see her duck outfit.

Scan at 9.30am tomorrow for me - I hope I am still preggers - wish me luck ! This week has lasted for an eternity but the good news is our kitchen is being installed today and appliances tomorrow - hooray!

Hellooo!
Sorry for such a long absence, only got home from the hosp yesterday after having an emergency c secion.

was induced at around 5.00pm last Thursday, waters broke at midnight with contractions starting at only a minute apart, struggled on with gas for a couple of hours but then screamed for an epidural by 2.00a.m Was vomiting all over the place from the pain. What a difference! whoever invented the epidural should be knighted!

Laboued until midday last Thursday and was fully dilated, tried to push little nogs out but he wouldn't come! went in for an emeregency c section and nogs was born at 12.55pm on 1 november 2007.

Nogs introduced himself to me by peeing on my face when he was passed over the screen to see me, dh thought that was hilarious so i got my revenge by projectile vomiting on dh....so glamorous!

only managed to paint my big toes due to diificulties reaching!

now i'm sitting here typing with one hand and holding nogs with the other. So happy and grateful!!

will come back and do personals later hopefully! quick shout out to angie, good luck for tomorrow, i'm sure you and wombat will be great!

thanks to all for your support and good wishes, you guys have kept me sane(ish) over the last year and i really appreciate it!!!

Angie you are killing us!!!!!!!!!!!!!!, let us know how are you doing.....

Fee....so Nogs is trying to respect his ticker, that is why he is behaving as a vampire  . How is he doing?, and as Angie said, what is his name???

I had a bit of a scare today, yesterday night I started bleeding bright red, with clots, I thought that was the end of this beautiful journey, so I called my clinic and went this morning for a scan. Thankfully my beanie is still there, with his little heart beating, and it's growing, it was 3mm on Thursday and it is 4mm today, isn't that great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!. Apparently I have a hematoma close to the placenta that was causing the bleed, so I am on bed rest for this week until Thursday when I have a follow up U/S and we will go from there.

Hope everybody is doing great!!

Hello all!!

Fee - Congrats on NOGS - yeah!!! We need pictures!!! :D And I have been meaning to ask - where did this Nogs name come from anyway? I was late to join you ladies.

Vicky - Good news! Bless your heart. You are just going to be one of those ones that has to go through all kinds of stuff before your beautiful baby arrives! I know it has been tough, but hang in there! I am wishing you the very, very best!! :D I am thinking this is a GIRL!!! :)

Angie - where are you? We are anxiously awaiting your results.

As for me....I am on day 5 of my Lupron shots and go back to the clinic on Wed for a scan. Hopefully AF will arrive about that time and we can start our Menopur and Follistim injections soon. :)

Well, first my college roommate gets pregnant, then my neighbor who I have become really good friends with calls me last night when DH & I are getting ready to walk into a movie and guess what? Yep, she is pregnant! She was with me when I got the call from my college roommate telling me and saw how much it hurt me to hear. Well, bless her heart. She starts crying as she tells me. What a sweetheart. Of course, I am happy for her, but I just looked at my husband and said, "What are the chances it would happen for her right now? They have been trying for 2 years?". Oh well, maybe I will get pregnant soon and we can go through it together! :) This infertility devil is a mean one, huh? The sad thing is I am really, really happy for her. I just wish it didn't hurt to hear. She & I go walking together in the neighborhood and the other friend I walk with is 7 1/2 months pregnant. Uggghhhh.....oh well, just got to keep up the positive thoughts, right?? :D :D

Take care ladies!!!

Sorry girls - I was out and about all day doing stuff on the house - it's a full-time job but we are hopefully moving in in about 4 weeks.

Anyway good news, all was A-OK with the wombat - and there is a heartbeat - a tiny flicker and Dr D was happy and congratualted us and said he was very pleased for us which was nice.

So it was a lovely day yesterday.

Vicky - hope all is OK - take it easy now. Will write more soon girls. I am off to yoga - I get special treatment in the class now so it's pretty cruisy but I still enjoy it.

Have great days girls.

Angie....congratulations on your little wombat and the heartbeat!!!!, woohoooooooooo!!!!!

Tina....I know what you mean about everybody getting pregnant around you, it so sucks, and you feel bad about it and then you feel like the worst person for feeling that way but you can't help it.....ohhhh, the story of my life  . But as you can see, it will happen to you too soon, so just keep shooting up Lupron, you will see!!!!. It's funny you said you thought it was a girl, cause this morning I was telling DH that too, I think it's a girl because she is high maintenance already with all the extra studies I am having to do due to the "scares"

Fee......pictures, pictures, pictures!!!!!!!

Vicky - Now I know this is just me feeling sorry for myself....really, I know it is....but.....I get a call yesterday from my grad school roommate. Mind you, I have already stated my college roommate is pregnant, my neighbor is pregnant...and yep...you guessed it. My grad school roommate calls to say she is pregnant. I have to almost laugh as I swear it is like someone is playing this mean, cruel trick on me. It's like I am at a point where every time one of my friends calls me it is to tell me they are pregnant. I wish it didn't hurt to hear, you know? I hate this feeling. I have this wonderful life, wonderful husband, I am healthy....so much to be thankful for and I don't want this to be something that just breaks my heart. It really, really helps to hear all of your encouraging words. I feel like sometimes you are the only women that truly understand! Thank you so much for continuing to give me positive thoughts during this. It means a lot! :)

Angie - so glad to hear you and the baby are doing great. I predict yours is going to be a boy. Yep, Vicky has a girl on the way. You have a boy. That is the way I see it..... :D

Hope everyone is doing well. Thanks fot the sistahood.

Hi Tina - sorry to hear you are getting a run of pregnancy announcements - it really hurts I know. On one of my 2ww earlier in the year, a group of us were away in a house we had rented. I was really stressed and couldn't even have a glass of wine and lo and behold noticed that one of the girls in the group (Wife of DH's good friend) was very obviously not drinking either.

A few days later I got my BFN and they made "the announcement" - it was crap.

But a few months on and now look at me. I'm not out of the woods yet but trying to be positive. A boy would be nice - I have chosen a neutral coloured elephant for my ticker!

Anyway Tina - am wishing you lots of luck for this cycle - when do you start stimming?

Hi to everyone else - hope you all had good weekends. The people who installed our new kitchen managed to drill to far through the wall and shatter the newly laid tiles in our bathroom - grrrrrr!

Hey girls!

Vicky and Angie I am so excited to hear your news!!! When is the next scan? Congratulations! When are you going to tell people? vicky- are you still bedresting?

Fee- What a time you had!!! I'm glad noggin is here and healthy, sorry he is keeping not so fun hours. You have now convinced me to go ahead and get the epidural early! He peed on your face- I'm sure he will never hear the end of that! funny story!! Keep us updated, take care of yourself!

Tina- I know it is hard when it seems like everyone around you is preggers but you. I felt like everyone was on baby number 2 or 3 by the time I got my one. It was like a race and I was losing horribly! I hope your cycle goes great and you get to share the BFP news soon! We seem to be having luck with that lately on this thread. How's the shooting up going?

Gotta go clean. company coming...
Jenn
