There are no frosties BUT SHE WONT NEED THEM.
Donor is 21yrs, not proven and embies are grade 9, 9 and 8.

Hi All

Doing this laid down from my Blackberry so hope it will work as don't want to go on my lap top today.

Firstly thank you for all the support. It has been so helpful for me. Especially to my IM buddies, Jen1d, gill and JB, for all the texts and e-mails. You have been fab girls

Well the short version is I am PUPO with 3 embies back on board. Two grade 9s and 1 grade 8. Two four cells and 1 five cell. They collected 10 eggs. 7 where good. Only 4 fertilised with ICSI and the TESA on my dh. 1 stopped over night. Waiting to be called in by the dr this morning having not had a call yesterday and then his first words being 'we have a difficult decision to make' must rate as the most stressful hour of my life. We talked through 2 or 3. But was not sure about coming back to Spain for just 1 frostie that might not make it. Dh thought that we should have 2 back until we asked and were told donor is unproven. So all back but no frosties. Donor is 21 year old university student. Similar weight(shame!!) and height to me. Hazel eyes - same as dh. WOW. Cannot believe it has actually happened. Dh was quite emotional afterwards and told me how brave I had been. He is still sore but getting better each day.

Thanks again to you all. Sorry this is just about me. Will catch up with everyone on Tuesday when we are back home. Will try to chill and take it easy the next couple of days.

Well, I had ER yesterday and they ended up getting 10 eggs so I was thrilled. i am anxious to hear how many fertilized!!! i expect that call in a few hours. The problem is that my RE left a note on my chart (which I didn't know about until yesterday) that said if we get 8 or more embies he wants to freeze on day 1 and then do a double transfer into a natural cycle. That sounds great except that I want to do a transfer this month. I suppose it isn't an issue if less than 8 fertilize so I should start to worry about this now. But if we have 8 or 9 fertilize then what do i do. Do i hold back 3 embies for transfer this month and then freeze the other 5 or 6 to use in a natural cycle? But will that then ruin the possibility of doing a double transfer? Geez! Since it was the weekend I couldn't even discuss this with my RE. Oh well, we'll just have to see how they fertilize today!

Jen1d, I think about you lots even though I have never met you and just hope that every day it will become a little bit less painful for you.

Along time ago some one told me that I would become a mummy, somehow. It took a long time and a lot of tears but she was right and at some point and I know it will happen for you too.

I'm doing well, 15 weeks tomorrow and starting to feel human again. As strange as it sounds it's all starting to feel real now and I am allowing myself to get excited. Blood clot is still there but no longer seems to be posing a threat as both twins are strong and growing.

Hi girls

So how is everyone doing? I have been trying to catch up but hard with visitors around but i have been thinking about you all.

Dont know what to say really, am having a tough time at the moment but dont want to bring the mood down.

The in-laws have been and gone. I had a difficult night last night. Over dinner they were discussing if my neice looks like the mum or dad and it went on for a while, i just sat there and felt so sad that i will never have that feeling with a child or dh. I went through to the kitchen to wash up and then burst into tears----dont know where it came from and i was so embarassed in front of the other but i just cant help my emotions just now

We will be doing our FET in January but at this moment i am very negative, so will wait and see---hopefully this mood will go. Until then we have our meeting on Wed with the social worker but i dont know if i have the strength just now to battle with them for a baby----they keep trying to say there are none but i know differently after talking to a friend who works on the family placement team so we will just have to continually telling her its a baby we want and stick to our guns---seems like another mountain to climb

Dont know about you guys but i am finding this time of the year so hard as i keep looking at everyone with bumps and kids (more than usual) and longing for it to be me. Another Christmas without a baby

Hi all

1st of all thank you all for our love and suport at this hard time...you have all been wonderful with all your lovely thoughts. i am doing ok...as well as can be expected. started a bleed on saturday which was so painful and distessing but it had to be. My parents in law have been wonderfully supportive but not overly too emotional. Good grounded support , the kind i like it has been both a help and a difficulty to have them here the last 4 days (bless them) but glad they have gone and i have my home back to myself. at last i can have a good drink now

jen1d- sweetie you sound so low ...I do hope you manage to get some more counselling soon, you have been through so much in such a short time x x its a hard one for you to decide to go again or take time off? As you know i took a year ut to sort out a whole load of emotions and although it was much longer than i needed the time out did help. But as IM say 90% chance out of 3 transfers is the stats so your 3rd is the one x x hang in there and take your time to decide as frosties are safe x xx
We are going late jan for FET so maybe we will be testing around the sasme time if you decide to go then too.

To everyone else I missed, i am thinking of you!

Got my fertilzation report today. Of the 10 eggs, 8 were mature, of that 7 fertilized. The lab said that 6 are looking great and one not so great. I guess we'll just have to wait and see how it goes tomorrow. We are hoping to transfer 3 embies on Tuesday and then have some frosties to transfer into a natural cycle if it doesn't work this month! I just hope they are all in good shape on tuesday.
