Jen - I am so sorry to hear your news, I know exactly how you feel right now, but time does heal. I don't think it matters when you m/c it hurts like hell whether its at 4wks, 5wks or later.
The positive to come out of it is that you can get pregnant and those embies are obviously little fighters which all bodes well for Jan. Take time out to grieve, take each day as it comes and it hurts a little less each day.
Am sending bigs hugs to you and Adam, hang in there - we will both be preggers in the new year!!

Hi Jen,
In answer to your question it took nearly 3 weeks for AF to arrive for me and then it took almost another week for the m/c to happen properly. It was a real waiting game especially as I didn't know when the embie had stopped growing. My placenta was still growing, the consultant showed me on the second scan that we had that it was bigger even though there was nothing in it.
I hope it happens quicker for you, acu is meant to speed the process up. I was told that if there was no sign of AF after 2 wks to phone my GP and arrange a D & C - thankfully she did show. Feel free to ask anything if it helps.

Mine was so so......Had planned to go up to Lincolnshire, but due to the bad weather and Marks panic attacks, we didnt go.... Long story....
So just been at home, went to rememberance sunday service in our village, and then decided to paint kitchen, which wasnt good, as paint didnt dry in time to get 2nd coat done, so will have to finish that 2moz now!!!
anyway, just thought i'd pop by, before i settle down in front of tv.....

thanks for all your lovely posts ...in laws have left and they were a fab support x x x It was diffiult at times as i had waves of emotion but we coped ok .
Started to bleed on saturday ( kate think it was earlier than you cos i was on support meds since the ET for the implantation and when i came off them progesterone and oestrogen fell. still have hcg in my system but that is falling)The bleed was very painful and emotional to see ( still is) ( TMI i know but you understand) but am taking it all a day at a time. Know the hurt takes a while ( if ever ) to ease and thats why we are waiting until jan for next tmt. day at a time hope and faith in the future x x x
judy please tell us more is it a trial run?????
hun have you had counselling to move onto donor eggs??? you can also post on the ther thread donor egg tmt and get some info. poochie overr there is on her trial run before actual in dec. good lcuk x x

As for me, I am fine. Very tired but fit and well. Been really busy with the in-laws staying with us but they have gone now so had a good tidy up yesterday (anally houseproud and an extra 2 adults in the house damages my karma!!). Had a bit of a sort/clear out too to make such much needed room for when junior appears. Feel like I am nesting early! At the midwife on Friday to have bump measured again. Hope I have slowed down a bit from last time as measuring too big for my term. Not necessarily an indication of a big baby tho...
On countdown to finishing work (5 weeks to go) and everything is racing ahead so quick!!!
Hows your plans coming for Crimbo? Can't believe mid Nov already and SO COLD today!!!! Take care all xxxxxx

Just got back from a weekend trip to Palm Springs with sister, mom, and some girl friends. I didn't feel like going after the BFN, but as it was a planned trip, I didn't want to flake out last minute. Now I am glad I went, the weather was great, did a lot of shopping (why does a new purse rarely fails to cheer you up?
), and rode the aerial tram up the mountains.
Jen - So glad to hear from you. It's great that your in-laws are so supportive. I find it so helpful to talk to family and friends about this. And thanks for the info on the other thread. I have a ton of questions on donor egg selection etc. I'll be sure to post there. Currently my clicnic is telling me if I go through them, there might be over 6 month wait for a donor. But they did refer me to a local agency if I need it sooner. Yes, of course i'd prefer it sooner!
Nicki - How are you feeling? How's the B&B business plan going? The pilot cycle (it's actually 2 cycles) is the test to make sure your boby responds to estrace as expected, I guess. This whole treatment is so mentally And financially exhausting.. I can only hope the outcome is good. I have to keep telling myself STAY POSITIVE. Here's my fertility background:
- 3 natural pregnancies, all miscarried, last 2 was due to trisome 16
- attempted a PGD cycle, not enough fertilized eggs for PGD, converted to IVF, BFN
- 3-4 IUI cycles, all BFN
- The reason we're going to egg donor now is even if I get pregnant with IUI, the chance of it being 'good' is not looking good. I really don't want to go through another miscarriage..

- The reason we're going to egg donor now is even if I get pregnant with IUI, the chance of it being 'good' is not looking good. I really don't want to go through another miscarriage..
