Liverpool Womens hospital

Post by Popsy »

Hi,

We have just been referred to Liverpool Womens hospital as we have been trying to get pregnant for nearly 2yrs. My husband has motility and morphology problems. We don't know yet if there is any problem with me. Does anyone have any experience of this hospital? Is it good or bad? Any recommendations? Where in the North West is best place to go?

Many thanks

Hi

We're at LWH. We've seen both Mr Kingsland and Mr Drakely. Mr Kingsland was mentioned in Harpers & Queen in their Best Doctors review recently.

We've had 5 attempts at LWH and prior to that we had 4 attempts on a transport scheme from Leighton in Crewe (Mr Armatage was the consultant) where we still had the transfers done at LWH. We've found LWH a lot more organised than Leighton.

It seems no different from other clinics people mention on here - sometimes you can wait for ages in the waiting room and sometimes they see you early if you've arrived early. The nurses are great and you can call them directly instead of leaving messages with admin staff.

What specifically did you want to know about LWH? Sorry i'm not a great example, seeing as we are currently considering our 10th go!! But I'll try to answer any questions for you that i can.
