Spotting/Bleeding in 2WW - period or other reason

Hi,

Anyone get spotting/ light bleeding in the 2WW? I am testing on 11/15 and have been spotting since Sunday, 11/11. I have been using the progesterone suppositories 3 X per day. This is my second IVF. My first ended in early miscarriage this past summer. I did not have spotting with that one before test day. I am wondering if this is my AF wanting to rear her ugly head and the progestrone is just not letting it happen fully (keeping the lining in tact as much as possible). I am wondering if it could be irritation from the suppositories, too. I think it is too late in the cycle for implantation bleeding. I only had one embryo transferred, too, so it can't be that one is detaching. Any ideas/experiences/opinions???? Please let me know what you think even if it's not good.

Hello , I know one of the girls from the other board was spotting for a few days before her blood test and the test came out positive .Some people have spotting or even a period when they are pregnant . Unless its heavy I wouldn' worry to much about it . Don't drive yourself nuts over spotting.

Hello,
I am also on the 2ww and set to test on 11/15. I have experienced both cramping and spotting. They say it is normal but who knows. I guess we will just have to wait and see. Good Luck on Thursday. Also, If you look on the general forum under Oct/Nov cycle buddies there are 3 of us there all testing on the 15th if you would like to join.

thanks for the replies, guys. the spotting has pretty much subsided...we'll see.

wanna....good luck testing tomorrow, too. i have a big all day meeting tomorrow. i'm going to add it to the notes on the sheet they have us fill out with our phone # that they call me after 4:30pm. i'm praying for us!!!

CALL YOUR CLINIC. THE PROGESTERONE SHOULD KEEP AF AWAY EVEN IF BFN. HOWEVER, YOU COULD BE PREGNANT & NEED MORE PROGESTERONE. GOOD LUCK!

dcu917-We are in the same boat. I have a meeting I can't get out of tomorrow so my dh is gonna take the call and he will tell me when I get home at 6:30. So we shall see. Good luck and here's to our BFP!

I got a BFP !!! Beta was 105!.....this is much stronger than my first cycle (14) that ended in early mc. Over one hurdle. Good luck wannabeamomma!!!
