2ndtimer, awesome news! I will be excited to hear how it goes on Friday!! Good timing for an ER because you can rest up on the weekend.

Mandyluckypants - those are evil! Please don't even think twice about it. Good luck tomorrow! The good news is that AF hasn't arrived!

Beachbaby - how are you feeling? I'll bet you can't wait until your scan.

Botheration - how are you doing hun! I hope that we haven't heard from you because you are too busy celebrating!!!

Magic Magin - how are things with you?

Squeezan - are you hanging in there? day 2 and these days don't seem to be passing quickly enough!!

As for me, well things are okay. It is funny because sometimes throughout the day I completely forget about this whole thing and go about life normally - maybe a little too normally. I was telling my DH today that a lot of the DH's on this forum 'spoil' their wives/partners, but not mine... he doesn't change anything! Oh well, I suppose I should be used to it now!

Have a great evening!

MOST CLINICS ADVISE TRYING AT LEAST 3 TIMES. KEEP IN MIND, PEOPLE OF NORMAL FERTILITY ONLY HAVE ABOUT A 25% CHANCE OF CONCEPTION EACH MONTH, AS THERE ARE SO MANY FACTORS THAT MUST COME TOGETHER IN ANY CYCLE, NATURAL OR ART. IT IS HARD NOT TO GET DISCOURAGED WHEN YOU GO THROUGH SO MUCH HEADACHE, HEARTACHE, TEARS & $$$ IN IVF TREATMENT. NOBODY CAN REALLY SAY WHAT IS RIGHT FOR YOU. LISTEN TO YOUR HEART & YOUR INSTINCTS, & IF YOU HAVE THE STRENGTH TO TRY AGAIN, GO FOR IT. I KEPT TRYING BECAUSE I FELT I COULD ACCEPT FAILURE BETTER IF I FELT I HAD TRIED EVERYTHING. BESIDES, YOU HAVE THE OPTION OF PURSUING ADOPTION & ONCE YOU HOLD YOUR BABY IN YOUR ARMS, IT WILL NOT MATTER HOW YOU BECAME A MOTHER. BEST OF LUCK TO YOU.

Hang in there Magic! The two times I had positive betas I was 100% positive that AF was on her way. I actually cried and cried both times because I was sure it hadn't worked, and then I got the call that it was positive. So, don't lose hope! It is unbelievable how much a positive can feel like AF. And the progesterone doesn't help because it mimics the symptoms! You don't have long to go!!!

Hope everyone is doing well! I am just trucking long. Nothing much happening now with me but just wanted to lend my support to everyone who needs it!!!

Best of luck today Mandyluckypants! Let us know how it goes!

Thanks kellym and I apologise for the downer mood in my message

Only had these strong cramps today twice both for about 3 minutes and then they have stopped?! No sign of AF so hanging on to little glimmer that it could be ok... In 2 days time I'll know so just have to hang on in there...

Anyway enough of me going on, how is everyone else? Have we had any results in yet?? Lots due today!!!

Mandy - I'm so sorry

Image

Botheration - Where are you? We're all dying to hear your news

Magic Magin - Hang in there, I know the last few days of 2ww are always the hardest. Kepp up the PMA

Kelly - How are you doing? It sure seems a long time til 27th doesn't it. I know what you mean about forgetting sometimes. Fortunately work is always so busy I don't have much time to think about it.
I don't have a DH to spoil me so just have to be careful what I do at home. The few friends at work that know are pretty good at lifting heavy stuff for me if I ask, I just hate asking as I'm very independent.

2ndtimer - Good luck for ER tomorrow

Hi to everyone else. :)
Not much going on here. Was quite crampy after iui on Tuesday and all day yesterday. Not really bad but annoying. Woke up feeling much better today though.

Mandyluckypants - BIG HUGS TO YOU!!! It is so tough getting that news even when you are expecting it. Spoil yourself this weekend, you deserve it!

Magic - you are doing great and I am glad that you are feeling a little bit more hopeful. Hey the strong cramps for a few mins sounds very positive to me!!

2ndtimer - how are you feeling? a little 'full? Best of luck tomorrow!

Squeezan - well, I sure hope that you are asking people to do your lifting for you! You take care of yourself! I am doing okay but yes the 27th sure feels like a long time away! I like you, am busy at work which is a blessing. We are planning to go away on the 23rd for a week so the last few days of the 2ww should pass more quickly since I'll be down south enjoying life on the beach!!!

Thanks Kellym, not long until I know now... Will be so thankful when the 2ww wait is over, if it is BFN then my sister in law is taking me to the pub for the afternoon - yikes! If it is a BFP then I will have a cup of tea instead

Take care everyone, baby dust everywhere - I can feel it...

Magic Magin - my first IVF I got a BFN and felt nothing. This IVF I got a BFP and I felt very crampy like AF was coming any day. I am almost into my 7th week and I still feel like AF is coming. It's just your ovaries and uterus settling down after all the treatments and if you are pregnant it is your uterus preparing itself for baby! So, do not feel discouraged. I think it is a good sign. Did you POAS?
