Hey girls - I know I have been silent but my DSL went down and I let it go for a bit because I work from home and it forced me not to work! :? I promised my DH I would take vacation since I haven't taken a day off this year and was a bit stressed...He even hid my backberry! Unfortunately, it also meant staying away from you guys!

Wow -you girls have had a busy week - good luck to you all. Boy, it took a while to catch up

Anyone else distracted and having a hard time focusing?
2ww is driving me nuts! I was doing some mail last night and had to ask DH what our zip was - for the life of me I could't remember. This is just crazy, I am never so scattered!

So beta is Monday (2weeks from ER) if BFP then I go back 2 days later to see how the HCG level is increasing. I have resisted testing, mainly because I don't have a test in the house. I am afraid to go to the drug store in case I get weak....

You asked about bloating. My day 3 ET was a week ago Thursday 11/8 and it took me until Tuesday (another 5 days) for the pain and pressure from the bloating to start getting better. I hope you guys are doing better! I had to take the vicodin probably because my high E2 levels at ER (5,000) and 28 eggs retrieved. Pain is gone but I am still bloated - they said it could take a few more weeks. ER's have said no plane water, only things with electrolytes which is tough becasue usually drink alot of water and very little juice, soda, and never gattorade! yuk! I can't wait for a plain glasss of water!

Nicaliw - on symptoms - I am exhausted and (sorry if this is tmi) but my boobs have been unbelievably sore! I can't even take my bra off at night. Not sure if it is from the trigger shot or my own HCG levels - here's hoping!

sorry about the book - result of staying away for so long!

Baby dust to all!

Welcome back dreambaby! It sounds like your symptoms are all good signs. :D

Magic - only one more day! Yay! I just know you're gonna get a BFP. I can feel it!

So how about this 2ww. What a nightmare! I have been obsessing over all of the symptoms that everyone is talking about. I don't have any. Not a one. I am 4 days past transfer, and I am really starting to get worried. No cramps, no bloating, no spotting. Nothing. And they say by now the lil embies should have implanted. I know everyone is different, but it just seems like all the BFPs have had some sort of signs. Heck, I'm not even constipated! And I usually am!!! I haven't left the house since my ET. I am afraid if I go to the store, I will be too tempted to buy a HPT. Geez, listen to me...I'm a mess!

By any chance, has anyone heard of anyone else who got a BFP after not having any symptoms?

Well, in all my boredom this week, I made a list of the test dates for the upcoming week. It's not fancy like on the other threads, but it's a list, nonetheless.

Hugs and good wishes to all!!!

cornyybaby - We all are driving ourselves insane with "symptoms" whether we have them or not. I know I can attribute almost all of mine to hyperstimulation, which you luckily didn't have, but I keep telling myself it is becasue a BFP is coming in a couple days  .

Try to ride out the 2ww. Since you didn't have the bloating and pressure before ER and ET, it would be unlikely for you to get it afterwards. The Progesterone and vicodin both cause constipation which adds to the problems of hyperstimulation many of us had!

Many people (luckly enough not to go through IVF) don't have symptoms until after they miss AF.
Since it is only 4 days post ET I like to think you were just one of the lucky ones that didn't get all the bad side effects of the stims.....enjoy it while you can....hopefully you will get uncomfortable soon!
Did you ever think you would be worrying because you feel TOO GOOD and that wishes from others for discomfort would be taken as a blessing and not a curse?

cornbaby... I thought I posted something in response to your last post, but I don't see it. Sorry if this is a repeat.

I had typed that I know someone who went through IVF and did not feel a thing. She even thought she wasn't pregnant. Come to find out she had a BFP and gave birth to twin boys!! So don't get caught up on not feeling symptoms. Easier said than done. I know I need to follow my own advice.

Also, thanks for making the list of dates! Magic, gekasbaby, dreambaby... your time is almost up. Good luck!! I'm a bit jealous. And know that you have a group of girls going through the same thing and wishing you BFPs!!!

Thanks guys. I know my irrational thoughts about no symptoms aren't helping matters. And no dreambaby, I never thought I would be hoping for cramps. :D You are very wise about the cramping and bloating. I didn't have any throughout the stimming, so maybe I wouldn't now either. I guess I should consider myself lucky that I didn't have to go through the discomfort you all went through with the stims.

Ann D - thanks for the success story. It helps a lot! I think part of my problem is that I have a friend who went through this in Sept and she kept saying she didn't feel anything...and she got a BFN. So, I am sort of relating to that, unfortunately. I'll try to keep positive. I don't know what I would do without all of you. Thank you all SO much!!!

WOW, you are all so strong not doing the hpts! I admire you.....I-on the other hand-just got back from Target (thought some retail therapy would take my mind off things) with 3 EPT tests in my shopping bags! I have zero will power/patience.

Ann d. I talk to my embies all the time, too, telling them to stay put and hang on cause I want them so dearly.

Magic, sounds like your emotions are as up and down as mine are. Maybe some of the hormones on board. Not sure about you but I'm still taking progesterone and start estrogen patches tomorrow (oh great!, more hormones) Hopefully theres a touch of HCG mixed in there too!

Anie, 3dp5dt means 3 days post 5 day transfer. In other words, 8 days since conception. Sounds like you're going thru all the same worries. I was surprised to hear you are getting breathless at times, could you have OHSS???

Dream_baby, welcome back! Sounds like you're having some promising symptoms, too. Glad you are feeling better from your hyper stim. Your E2 was up there by mine, mine topped out at 5639! but I coasted for 3 days and it dropped down before I triggered. I can imgine how uncomfortable you have been, today is the first day I have felt comfortable in a couple of weeks (apart for sore bb).

Cornybaby, thanks for making the list of test dates, I have a hard time keeping up so this will help. I wish I was earlier on the list, but all in good time. I wouldn't worry about you absense of symptoms, my first pregnancy was unplanned (I have a 7 yr old) and I had no clue I was pregnant until AF was a few days late. If your luck continues the way it has, ie you had more eggs than they thought you would, you'll be happy!

Ladies, I gotta say it feels so good to read about your experiences. Nobody truly understands who hasn't been thtough this. I appreciate all of you sharing your stories and I cannot wait until we start hearing about some BFPs!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Tomorrow is out 1st lucky tester...everything is crossed for you Magic! :P :P :P :P :P :P :P

Magic Magin,

I'm so sorry. You're right. This is a long, emotional journey.

If you do try again in 6 months, like you said before, I would like to know. I may just do it then as well if I have to. Hope to hear from you soon...

Big hugs,
Ann

Oh Magic, I am so sorry to hear that. Gosh, this is just so hard, emotionally, physically, everything. I hope you are able to give it another shot when the time is right and you are ready. And I hope this isn't the last we hear from you. Take the time you need to heal and take care of yourself...

hugs...

Nicaliw, ann d and cornybaby thank you so much for your kind messages...

I'm ok (although a little hungover today - not recommended!) I'm just releived to know so I can have some normality for a few months. I have just resigned from a stressful job and so maybe that will help next time around.

I will keep in touch and check how you are doing, I hope it all works out for you but if not maybe we'll have another thread next year...

Lots of love

Well, I'm a little worried this morning. It's actually almost 4 am where I live right now. I can't sleep. I had cramps while I was sleeping and I don't think this is a good thing. It woke me up, but then went away. I hope it doesn't mean AF is on her way. I'm trying to stay positive, but I can't help but worry. I feel no other symptoms other than a bit gassy. Sorry if that's TMI.

Hi Ann d.

I have been having some cramps on and off, too, but wasn't worried cause I heard that the progsterone can cause cramping (I'm getting progesterone vaginally if that makes a difference?) I can totally understand how you're feeling. Thank God we only have to wait a few more days to find out. I am tired of convincing myself I'm pregnant then realizing that all the symptoms I have can be caused my the meds I'm taking.
I have to confess I have been doing hpt's (I know I'm crazy). Not one has been positive yet :( but I guess I wouldn't expect it to since I'm only 5dp5dt

Well, we're in this together, keep us updated on how things go today.
