My beta was this morning - I just haven't been posting much... been feeling weird. I have had light cramping, and a weird pain on my left side of my uterus for several days that I was worried was a cyst! Gekasbaby, I feel similar to what you're describing... cramps that come and go. No fatigue, boobs aren't sore at ALL, and no spotting.

Anyway, I got a sort of BFP... my beta was a 7!!! The nurse says it had to be over a 4, so I'm hopeful. I go back on Monday to see if it doubles.

The Thanksgiving question made me laugh because my extended family is super-dysfunctional and I probably won't ever tell them I'm pregnant, will just hopefully show up next year with a new baby or 2. :? I did tell my parents already. Also for Christmas this year my brother will be present with their new baby, which I have been dreading...

Good luck to everyone... your posts are wonderful, and I know you will hear good things this week!!!!!!!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

Grace 35, that's GREAT news! A "sort of BFP" is better than nothing! I bet it is doubling as we speak and by next week you will be sure. :D Fingers crossed that you are the first of many BFPs to come.

Grace, congrats on the BFP!!!!!!!! Sticky wishes coming your way.....:)

Cornybaby- are you getting excited to take your test?

Well, I went for beta today... then I go again on Monday. They don't give me the results till then. ahhh, the waiting sucks.

Does anyone know if the progesterone/delestrogen make the veins in your boobs appear more? Also, my boobs are horribly in pain.

Gekasbaby - I'm excited for Wednesday. It's just torture that they don't give you the results of the first one and you have to wait til the 2nd...but, maybe in the end, that's a good thing...a little less of a mind game. Who knows. Well, you only have 1 more day. YAY! I don't know what the side effects of progestrone are, but sore boobs sound like a good sign to me! I still don't feel anything...

Can't wait to hear about your BFP tomorrow. I just know it's going to be good news!!! :D :D :D

Hi All!
I am not testing the week of Thanksgiving but right after - the 27th - so i thought I'd join you ladies!

Geksbaby - I think really sore bbs is a great thing!

I am confused about what I am feeling. Sometimes I think I have cramps but then i think that it might be in my head. Who knows??? My bbs are sore but I think that is the progesterone. Anyway, when I have had bfn in the past I always get AF the day before my test day so it i can make it to test day I feel really positive. right now I just have to make it through the second week (it has already felt like a month since ET)! Yikes!

I thought I'd continue the list on so that we can follow those testing this week!!!

Is there room for one more girl in this thread... ? :)

I am also testing on Friday, Nov 23rd.

We have been trying for 3 years, this is my 2nd IVF, 3 IUIs and first IVF failed.

Today is 7dp3dt(including transfer day). We transferred 3 6 cell embryos. They were graded 1.5 (1 being th best and 4 the worst).

I might do an HPT on Wednesday or Thursday just so to prepare myself for the news, good or bad.

Post transfer days, I have had moderate cramping along with some spotting/bleeding; not sure if they are good or not.

Just wondering, if there is a successful implantation, should the body temperature go up? Will it be noticeable?

Reading the posts, it looks like some people had symptoms and some didn't have any and still got BFP. Let us hope that we all get BFP this time, a wonderful gift for the upcoming New Year!

Love to all...

ammu.

Welcome Ammu and Kellym!!!!!!!!!!

Cornybaby- I am super nervous. I went to a bday party today and people were asking me if I found out yet... I didnt even tell them we did IVF so that was so annoying! anywayz, I keep replaying the dreaded phone call in my head! I hope you had fun at your nieces bday party today!

Ammu- sounds like you had implantation spotting which is great! I am not sure about the temperature ... that is a good question... anyone else know????

Kellym- wow, so you would have AF even though you were doing progesterone shots? I thought progesterone prolonged AF?

Dreambaby- Good luck tomorrow!

Grace- any new updates for us????

Welcome kellym and ammu! The more the merrier! Hopefully we are a lucky bunch this week. :D

Gekasbaby...I am nervous for you! But all of your symptoms sound to me like good news. I can imagine how annoying it must be having everyone who you didn't tell ask about it. Everyone today at the b-day party was pretty good about it. They were all drinking mamosas and my dad had the nerve to ask me if there was champagne in my oj. Hello? Is he crazy? I am dying with excitement for you. Yay! :D

PS- I just got home from the store. I finally caved and bought an HPT. I'll probably do it tonight even though it's way too early. I just feel like I have to. And if it'll help me sleep at night, then it'll be worth it. Well, good luck tomorrow. If you are going crazy with the wait all day, call me, email me, whatever..I'll be around.

Good luck to you and dreambaby! I can't wait to hear the news. :D :D

omg... you got an HPT!!!! good luck. Let me know either way. I am so nervous for you too!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You do your first beta tomorrow right? I didn't get one bec I am too nervous. I have a knot in my stomach. I just want everything to fall into place for all of us so we can be happy happy happy!!!!!!!!

I dont know if I told you but when I went yesterday I talked to the embyologist and he said they were 8 cell, grade 1 which is the best possible apparently. Plus he said all the ones on ice are the same!!!!!!
Then the nurse said "you are sooo young and you transferred 3 8 cell ... you should def be pregnant with at least one or two" and I was like really you think and she said yes!!!!!!!!! so, I felt really good about things when I left there. But now I just feel blaaaaaaaah. Like no symptoms other than my boobs which totally scares me.

gekasbaby - best of luck tomorrow! Can't wait to hear! I think it is great that your bbs are sore! I remember that was the only symptom I had at the time of testing (cramps had gone away). I know it is different for everyone but that sounds like a good sign to me!!!! All the best tomorrow, I'll be thinking of you all day!!

I had also heard that progesterone prolonges AF but not for me. I asked my RE about it and she said it isn't always the case, and if AF arrives just a day or two before test day than that is fine - no big deal. Anyway, I guess it is natures way of breaking the bad news to me. Hopefully that won't be the case this time around!

Dreambaby - will be thinking of you tomorrow!! All the best!

Grace - hope your beta is doubling as I write this. All the best tomorrow!!

Hope everyone is hanging in there. You guys are in the home stretch!

That's great news from the embryologist gekasbaby! I am sure it is going to be a BFP for you. He's right, you're young and those were great embies! I didn't ask what "grade" mine were...but they look a little fragmented in the picture. Yes, I did the HPT. It was negative. I'm not surprised. It's probably too early. But even if it's not too early, I really don't feel pregnant anyway. I think DH is kind of upset with me for doing it. He didn't know I did and then I just blurted out "I pee-d on a stick and it's negative". Now he's all down about it. I guess I wasn't thinking about how it would affect him. Kind of selfish on my part, and now I feel just terrible. I tried to tell him it was too early, but now he's all bummed out. Way to go on my part.

Kelly- thank you for the encouraging words. :) Good luck to you also. I will be sure to keep you all posted either way.

Cornybaby-I think it is too early bec you haven't even done the first blood test yet. I thought you would at least wait until tomorrow. Plus, those things can not always detect the results so dont worry hun. Tell DH to hang in there only a few more days. It was nice of the nurse to say that BUT she doesn't know for sure. I think that it was just her way of being nice. DH asked me their statistics and I looked on their website it says "under construction" ... ok sorry this is depressing. Enough of that!!!!

We are all going to get our BFP's this week so hang in there and be POSITIVE!!!! (its so much easier to write that than actually do it!)

cornybaby, I have poas like a crazy woman and I'm a day behind you (I think). Don't feel bad for doing it and also don't worry about it beeing negative. My husband doesn't like me doing it either, he says he can't see the point if I know its too soon. I tell him the reason is I have read about others testing positive this early and don't feel like it can hurt to get a BFP early.....and if its negative, then I know thats not really reliable. Only 3 more sleeps for you!!!! I'm keeping everything crossed.

gekasbaby.....I'll be waiting to hear from you on the board tomorrow, GOOD LUCK!

Thanks again guys. Nicaliw - my reason for taking it was exactly the same as yours...maybe it would be positive, and if not, well then, I can rationalize it by saying it's too soon. Even if it had been positive, I probably would have tried to convince myself that it's the HCG shot still in me. DH just doesn't get why I need to do it. I guess it's a chick thing. :D I sure wish I could go to sleep and just wake up on Wednesday. These next few days will be torture.

I too will look forward to your post tomorrow gekasbaby! I so anxious/excited for you I can hardly stand it. YAY!!!
