Hi Dyer

This is just brill news, I was exactly like you it was my 1st attempt at ICSI at it worked 1st time for me I couldn't believe it. The thing is you do get AF type pains well I did and I felt like I just wanted to take my boobs off and leave them somewhere else because they hurt so much but to be honest all this is normal because your body is changing so much.
My boobs are starting to hurt again now but I think this may be normal.

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Love
Shell.
27wks 5d pg
xx

Congratulations Dyer!
Like Shell and you, we got a positive first time with ICSI - isn't it an amazing feeling?! I could hardly believe my eyes.
Don't worry about the twinges, it sounds perfectly normal - my boobs ached for weeks and grew a lot, and I get stretchy pains in my abdomen quite a bit too. Like you I was totally knackered in the evenings too, for about 6 wks - go with it and get lots of sleep and rest. I really perked up at the end of the 1st trimester; I'm just over 16 wks now and full of beans!
Relax and enjoy, and let us know how your scan goes.
Beck x

Congratulations! Fantastic news, so many positives coming over, its fab!

You will get so many tweaks and twinges, try to just relax and ignore them! As the others have said, you will continue getting them for some time!

Enjoy!

D x (18 weeks)

Me 34, DH, 37. Married for 11 years, ttc for 6+, failed 4 x fresh IVF tmts. 5th attempt at Lister Hospital gave us Megan on 5 April 2004 with a very straightforward pregnancy and labour. Attempt number 6 to start hopefully September 2007!

Well done - its the most fantastic feeling in the world isnt it? Dont worry about niggly pains - everything is changing and moving - I'm still getting them now at 20 weeks - sometimes sharp, sometimes a sore feeling when I've done a bit too much. I think they're pretty normal for one reason or another all the way through.

Bet you can't wait for the scan - it starts to get better and better and Christmas is going to be so special for you, to be able to tell everyone. We waiting til our 12 wk scan before we spilled the beans which was brilliant but hard work keeping such a secret!!!!

Lots of love - Jo. XXX

Hi Dyer and welcome to this side!
Well done on success on your first tmt and good luck with your scan on 7th. I'm 10 weeks now and still feel really tired, have nausea for most of the morning which then turns to heartburn, am constantly at the loo - and I wouldn't change any of it for the world!!!
I've had niggly abdo pains off and on and was told it was 'things' growing!! My boobs haven't hurt but I had to be fitted for a new bra at 8weeks!
Enjoy your pregnancy,
Di
