Does progesterone make boobs veiny?

Post by nicaliw »

Sorry to get straight to the point, I'm just analyzing my symptoms during the 2ww and my breasts have been a little tender for a while but 2 days ago my nipples became sore and I noticed my breasts are covered in lots of visible veins. Is this a good sign or just another effect of the progesterone? Anyone else have similar experience then get a BFP?
BTW, I'm 5dp5dt
FET April 18th
1st heartbeat 6w3d 115bpm, 9w2d hb 171bpm
MATTHEW ARRIVED DEC 19TH....8 lbs 9.7 OZ

Progesterone has that effect regardless of implantation.

this is supposed to be GOOD news. I researched this as well. I read that when pregnant if you have fair skin you can see the veins more because your body is getting ready to carry additional oxygen to the baby. It isn't supposed to be permanent but is supposed to last through pregnancy. I have it to and am hoping this is a good sign. I will know better tomorrow after my beta!

Dreambaby- do you have to wait or do you get your results right away?

dreambaby, thanks for your words of encouragment but I don't think this is going to be a BFP cycle for me. I'm now 6dp5dt, my boobs seem a little less veiny and when I poas its still not even giving me a faint line.
Good luck with your beta today!

Corneybaby - I think you said that they don't tell you until after they have run and compared both tests - I am sending out good thoughts to you! Good Luck!
