Nikki - Love your colourful fancy posts!!! Mine are traditionally boring as never seem to get the time to glitter! Hope you didn't work too hard this weekend. No snow for us...thankfully as dodn't realise we were due any in Manchester!

Lisa!!!! - Was great to read your post and the update re Mia and your new family. Glad everything is working out and you are enjoying and Stew is delighted and Mia is piling on the lbs etc etc. let me know how he takes to the relocation hint. x

Jen - Hope you are doing ok. How was your weekend?

Kate - Hope work eases. My DH works somewhere that sounds likewise disorganised! Infuriating when you can see what they COULD do if they tried or saw your point of view!

Gail - Are you orgnaised for Crimbo? What plans do you have - are you staying at home or trekking out to family? Bet you can't wait. Realise next year will be tons better for Katie being aware but will be lovely all the same.

Souris - if you are reading this....when is the adoption review? Hope all going to plan.

As for me I am KNACKERED today! had a very easy day yesterday with DH waiting on me hand and foot....taken me 14 years to realise his true home making talents.... had a great night Friday and managed to grit teeth at druken friends antics and also a good night Saturday but both were late and am definately having an early night tonight! xxxxxxxxx

Lisa lovely t hear from ya busy mum...is the nursery working out well now. Mia already on an extra bottle hey...my sis did that with her young uns when breat feeding its the best thinjg to do otherwise you never get a break...11lbs little chunky monkey x x xwe would love more photos on the bucket please x x i am in Glassgow in dec but am so busy i wont make it through to edin...but there is always next year hun as i am doen every 2 months or so. Thanks again for all your words they mean a lot ( and so do you guys )(slushy i know but true)hope you all had a good weekend...
i had a great night out friday at children in need quiz . was on painkillers for MS headaches but managed to have a few vodkas and got totally merry...and had a lovely night....
saturday we went a run in the car and gave the dog a good long walk and did some christmas shopping/ fab lunch... x factor and dvd at night.
sunday we again went out for lunch and had a long beach walk with the dog..played tennis (wii style) all night...

although some tears i really had a good time and am beginning to feel more like my usual self and not numb/angry or full of tears ...
been shopping all day today and bought clothes ( some even fitted well and am not as fat as i was last week with the preggy weight) ...so although not a good weekend for dieting a fab weekend for feeling good for a change and looking to the future ...

bring it on ..Christmas i mean ..not ready for FET yet!!!!!

Hello guys,

been really busy at work. Just popped in to read your news and I saw you were asking about me (which is really really nice!!) thank you!

although the review should have been in nov, it will be a little bit later (it is not bad considering that we live abroad...) and it will be on the 6th of Dec!! so not long!. I am not too worried as I saw the reports and they are positifs
But because of the Arch of Zoe scandal, the proper adoption will take a lot longer that what we were told because we are now forced to go through an agency instead of doing it solo...
so am a bit down because of this , but there nothing we can do about it.

Anyway, will let you know when we will have the answer for the review

got to go guys,
we are also moving ( for a 3 br apartment, to get ready for junior)
and so much to do!

Got a spare 5mins so I thought I would check on all of you and see how you are!

Souris - great to hear from you and that all your reports were positives! Bring on the 6th Dec, bet you can't wait? It must be so exciting although all the waiting gets in the way. Let us know how you get on.

Jen - glad to hear you are starting to feel more like your old self - a vodka or two helps!! Shame about the MS headaches but it sounds like they didn't get in the way of you enjoying yourself!

Julie - what a busy bee you are, no wonder you needed to have an early night!! You make sure you take it easy as there won't be too many more early nights once the little one arrives!

Lisa - Mia sounds like she is thriving and eating for Scotland!! Bless her! I bet she has grown so much since she was born?

Nickie - how's you? Hope work isn't too stressful?

As for me, I have had the day from hell standing outside in the cold and wet for 3hrs for the annual cross country competition!! Oh joy! It brought back so many horrible memories of me running cross country in mud up to my knees while the PE teacher sat in the office having a coffee!! Needless to say I was frozen and bless the girls they were soaked. It wasn't the best day I have had.

Apart from that (and trying to defrost!!) I haven't been up to much. Got a training day tomorrow for my new job with the Senior Management Team - can't see the point as they keep getting everything else wrong!! Time to go home, will catch you later girls

Wahooo!!! Jen, its lovely to hear to hear the old happy Jen is back, Ive been concerned about you, thats why i havent txt'ed you, thought I wouldnt pester you, and let you have time to grieve.... I know how i was after sept's BFN....I am well, pleased you seem to have gotten to a better level, and that everything is panning out ok, Yes, you must look fwd to Xmas, and enjoy it, as after that you wont be able to enjoy xmas, your'll be breast feeding the next xmas after!!!

Hi jen - we too watched the match - beckham was on the bench but they soon got him on pitch to no avail!!! I am glad we didn't get through as we didn't deserve to. 100 points to Adam for pampering you!!! Hope you are beggining to feel loads better xxx

Nikki - neva mind not losing. You are doing so well and may lose double next week like last time! My social agenda is drying up. I am trying to see everyone I normally would before I go in to haitation when I finish work. Meeting an old friend next Tues for a pub tea and then out with our couple plas on 1 Dec at Frankie and Bennys for a catch up. I obviously had to sell my Take That ticket for 23/12 and apart from an invite to my sis-in-laws for Xmas dinner that is it! What do you have planned? At home/with family?

Kate - I have to agree with Nikki - PE sucks!! i am sooo rubbish. never had any co-ordination - can't even catch a damn ball! wasn't bad at running and did do cross-country but don't have fond memories of galloping in the mud and rain!

MOTO IS BACK ...so we are going off to Aviemore for a Christmas weekend Fair in our moto ...it's been snowing so it will be Christmasy and lovely with hot gluwine ( sp???) to drink x x x Looking forward to egting away...we have a lot to talk about ...
WE are facing a big challenge as DH wants to call it a day ( ie no more tmt) ...Still in discussions and have swayed him a bit on moving forward to 1 last try...i also have written to Dr redenda for advice on fresh versus FET and any tests needed...
For DH its not the result of the tmt its all the stress it puts me and our relationship under ( as well as my health with the MS) for the 18 odd wks that we go through it ...I can honstly see his point but my body and tick tock of baby clock says a big NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! not wanting to stop yet!!!!!!!!! its a hard one but must look at our relationship too and see what his needs and wants are ..its not fair and it is hard ( tears galore girls) but have to stop sometime i suppose and just want to postone iend of tmt for a few more tries ...see what the weekend away brings for us x x x speak to ya monday

Jen it sounds as if you are going through a tough time at the moment. Surely it would be worth using your frosties? Im probably biased because Katie was a little Frostie. I can understand that Adam is worried because IVF does take a lot out of anyone and you have the MS to contend with as well, sending a huge hug your way, hope you have a great weekend and get some talking done.

Nicki what a busy girl, I see your weight is doing really well, don’t worry about not loosing every week you have done fantastic so far. I wonder if you will get snow for Christmas when you are away?

Julie where are you getting your energy from!!!!!!!!!!!!! 7 weeks to go I cant believe it, where has that time gone. When are your anti natal classes? Just me DH and Katie for Christmas day probably do the visiting before Christmas. My Mum lives in Cyprus and Alan’s Mum and Dad died many years ago, so not much in the way of family to visit

Souris glad things are moving on, hopefully they will speed up soon and you can settle into your new home with a bigger family.

Kate I remember those cross country runs well!! Why does it always rain though. Hope you are ok and have dried off now!!

Lisa great to see you on here. I know what you mean about needing family close by, we havent got any close by and its hard. Don’t they look small when they sleep in the cot for the first time, I can’t believe how time goes so quickly, enjoy every minute.

Lucy where are you??????????/ Miss you.

Katie is doing fantastic and can pull herself up on furniture, she is very wobbly which is quite scary as we have a wooden floor, had a few bumps already but she is getting better. She learnt a new trick today, she can now stand up in her cot which is very sweet but not very practical when I have put her in there to have a nap!!!

I have started working, not the job I was doing before, I am still on maternity leave from that (just haven’t plucked up the courage to tell them I am not coming back!!) I have got a job in Sainsbury’s 12 hours a week working 3 evenings , I really didn’t want to miss Katie growing up and childcare is so expensive anyway that working when she is asleep and DH is home is the best option for me and DH. The job is doing customers online shopping so if you order your groceries online the chances are that the person doing it is someone like me that has a young baby or child!!

Gail - Hope you are enjoying the new job and your work understand when you tell them. Tough isn't it really - have to do what is best for you and family. Katie sounds delightful. Sure she will be steady on her feet before you know it and then you will probably regret it when she runs you ragged! Had anti natal classes. Not waht I expected actually (i.e. no heavy breathing techniques!!). Found them quite fun and informative.

Nikki - Xmas plans sound great! We said for years we would do New Year in Scotland and never have. Never been to Scotland, apart from when we got married in Gretna but people say that isn't Scotland....AS for TT ticket. I know which I would rather have but selfishly would prefer to have both!!!!
