Hi ladies I you are all doing fine. It was sadly a BFN for us. My dh and I are really devasted and don't know if we will be continuing in our ttc journey. It has been a long 7yrs and we need to regroup and come to terms with reality. I will check in from time to time and I truely wish you all the best.

Hi Ladies,

BFN for me too I'm afraid. I had half expected it but still disappointing. It's a long old emotional journey to end with nothing.

I'm back off to bed and then doen the pub later...

Take care all of you...

Hello!!

Post by MBG »

Adele

Hello! My name is Marybeth. I just started Simulation this morning and am hoping for egg collection sometime during the week of Nov.25th!

Are you currently on lupron?

I am new to this message board thing, and have found it to be rather adictive. I have found myself smiling and crying while reading the journeys of all these women. It is an emotional roller coaster that many people do not understand, unless you are going through it!

Anyway the 27th is right around the corner!! Good Luck!!

Sorry to just jump in . I know some of you gals from the other post . I have a questions for Fullof hope . You suffer from Oshs which I do too .whAT are the symptoms you are experiencing ?
This is my 3rd IVF and it wasn't as bad as the other three . I'm still on the Oshs Protocol which is 2 slim fast a day ( i reduce it to One ) 250 ml of V8-go juice instead of gatorade (which I think makes a big difference )and at least 1 to 2 litre of either water or jus a day. In the morning i"m fine but by night time I'm bloated like crazy and I'm getting heartburn alot and recently started headaches. My lungs are still hurting ... I just feel FAT. ARe these symptoms anything like yours? Before the transfer my estrogen level was 14,000 which according to the RE its high that is when he made me stop the puregon . My ovaries are still tender , they hurt when I stretch .

Dear MLIFP,
I totally feel your pain!!!! The main thing that is bothering me is the bloating. I have a ton of cramping in my stomach and lower back. I get Kidney Stones quite often and it feels a lot like that when my back starts hurting. I have also been having some heartburn, which I have never had before, but I didn't know that could be an OHSS symptom. The doctor that did my transfer has been keeping a very close eye on me. I have to measure my liquid intake, output, weight, and abdomen measurement everyday and report back to them. They have also put in an IV catheter and given me fluids and every other day or so they run bloodwork and u/s. Are your doctors keeping a close eye on you? I hope you feel a lot better very soon!!!!

Thanks to everyone for the congratulations. I'm sorry to hear about the BFN's. I can imagine the disappointment.

Wanna and MM- I'm so sorry. Have you decided what you'll do next?

Mimi- I stick with the same dosage of med and go back in to RE Monday am. Dh has to fly to SD for his aunt's funeral. He's coming back Tuesday at noon so he won't miss the big day. I figure worst case scenerio- RE is shocked and we have to trigger Monday night. I'll just pay a nurse to come over and do it if need be. Nurse on Friday thought Er wouldn't be until end of next week. Plus with them not having me come in until Monday, I think we're pretty safe.

Thanks for your kind messages, I'm going to have a rest for a few months before having another go. I've just resigned from work to have less stress so hoping that will help!

Best of luck of your journeys, will check in and see how you are all doing...

Well, I go back for U/S and B/W tomorrow morning too. They measured 18 follicles again- 14-19 mm so they're growing! I told them I have a big football game to watch Saturday (VA Tech vs. UVA) so we'd really prefer to have the retrieval Friday! :) We'll find out tomorrow if all will go according to plan!

FHL- any estimated date for you FET? That's exciting though. BCP means you're getting closer!

Well well here we are....how are you all doing?
My update is that yesterday my hcg level was 700! So it's a really good pregnancy so far and maybe there's 2 little ones in there. My next u/s will be on Dec. 6th by then it should be visible. My OHSS is starting to subside a little, wich is nice, approximately 2 more weeks of it and it "should" be gone.

Good luck to everyone.... :D
