Bad news for me. I got a BFN. I didn't realize how much it would hurt to hear my ER say it. The ER sounded reassuring that it could work on round 2. He says that the 8 frozen embryos we have are really good ones and we can try again. Something about on a fresh cycle it's harder to control my lining and it's easier on a frozen cycle?? Not sure what that means exactly. Anyone hear this before? However, we're not sure that was the problem the first time. The good thing is I have my family with me to comfort me. I feel so sad that I'm even in tears typing this. I know I will feel better later. Sorry girls.

Good luck cornybaby and jenilu today. I really hope you girls get good news.

Thank you everyone for your support. I don't think I could've stayed sane without you girls.

Ann D - I am so sorry. I can only imagine how hard it must be (although I may know in just a couple of hours). Cry all you want and spend time with your family, and try to focus now on the next try. It sounds very promising.

Magic - I'm so glad to see you're still around. Hope you're hangin' in there.

Nicaliw...yay! That is great news. I am so glad you were able to show up that darn stick! I had to fight myself yesterday to not stop and buy another HPT, but I am glad I didn't and now I only have a couple more hours to wait. Congrats! What a great Thanksgiving you will have. :D

2nd Beta was today and it went from a 45 to a 119 in 48 hrs. YAY I finally feel that I can say BFP - next milestone is us on 12/3

Nicaliw - YAY good luck on your Beta - At least one of those evil sticks decided to play nice!

Cornybaby - GOOD LUCK!

Ann d - My heart aches for you and your DH. Let yourself grieve because you have indeed suffered a loss. Rest up and take care of yourself until you are ready for your frozen embies to come back to you. But, don't wait too long. After my first IVF I spent all last year worrying I was never going to be able to have a baby and here I am with a BFP. Looking back it would have been a much easier year if we hadn't waited so long.
Enjoy your family, let them console you, and be thankful you have a FET to look forward to that will be a little easier on your body.

Well ladies, I hate to be the bearer of more bad news, but it's a BFN for me. Gosh, this sucks. Anyway, I'm going to cry for a while and then pull myself together and maybe go get drunk. :D Thank you all for all of your support. This was a journey that would have been unbearable without you. I'll check back to see how everyone else does. I really hope I am the last BFN, and I hope you all have a Happy Thanksgiving.

Hugs...

Cornybaby...I'm so sorry to hear about your BFN. I can relate to the sadness and disappointment you're feeling right now. Thank you for your kind words. I know this is our first IVF and our chances will most likely increase if we do a second round, don't you think? I've been having my ups and downs all day long. I know that I will be fine in the end, but it will take time. I might just run into you at a bar in OC!

Magic Magin and dream_baby thank you for your kind words as well. Dream_baby, thank you for your advice on the FET. I know I won't wait too long to try my second round, and I'm hoping I'll be as lucky as you next time.

Hope everyone has a good Thanksgiving! Good luck nicaliw and anie tomorrow!! I'll still be checking the forum for future BFPs!!

Ann d and cornybaby, I am so, so sorry about your bfn's
It is so sad to read and place myself in your shoes for a minute. I can only imagine how hard it is. I don't know if there are any words that can be said to make this any easier, this is just so horrible.
Magic, good to see you still around, I hope you are healing well from the horrible emotional roller coaster that is that 2ww you just endured.

Sigh......such sadness......here's hoping for happy futures!

Nicaliw - thank you. Sigh is right. But, we will perservere! DH and I will try again as soon as we can. I am supposed to call the RE as soon as I AF shows up to talk about our next protocol. So hopefully by January we will be back on the road again.

Ann D - well, we are in the same boat, and it's crap. But I guess it just wasn't our time. Be thankful you have some frozen for your next go round. I hear FETs are very successful, and your RE sounds encouraging. I will have to start from scratch, as we had none to freeze, but I am hopeful it will be easier, at least mentally, now that I know what to expect. Oh - and if you're out and about tonight, I'll be somewhere at the Newport Pier I think...probably Blackies or the Beach Ball. Not the classiest joints, but good to let off a little steam nonetheless. :D It's the strangest feeling. I am so sad, but at the same time, I have a sense of relief that the whole thing is finally over...even though I would give my left arm to have had a different outcome.

Again ladies, I can't thank you enough for everything. DH thanks you too, as he knows how important you all have become to me. I will keep you in my prayers, and will continue to lurk out here, to see how everyone's doing.

Anie, I'm so very sorry. Again, such sadness. You're in my thoughts, as are all of you who weren't bfp's.

i'm still not in the clear, today is my 1st beta, so we shall see how true the pee sticks are.

Hugs for everyone.

Message for those who has BFN on this thread:

Hello. Hope you all are well and recovered from the sad result. I know that deep down there we never recover fully but....hope you are feeling better.

I just would like to know when are you thinking in doing the next cycle.
Will it be a fresh one or FET?

I'm thinking doing a FET in february but it's not decided yet. I still need to see the doctor and ask about it.

Anie
