Hey there,
Am loving being part of this site, have learnt so much, and do know that everyone has very different pregnancies. Am getting scared though, have felt sick today (know that's normal) but a bit sore as well in my tummy, am frightened re. what this means. Am constipated, so could be related to that...Am seeking reassurance to be honest, I'll probably need this every now and then, so will apologise in advance (am about week five now, so potentially have lots of posts between now and delivery time!)
Belinda
Hi Belinda

You don't have to say sorry about posting, we all want to help each other. I for one post when I feel I need to and people don't mind, this is what this site is here for.

You are going to feel sick and to be honest you will get all sorts of aches and pains in your tummy. What you have to remember is there is alot happening inside.

I know exactly how you feel about worrying, I am 27wks and I still worry but I don't think the worry ever goes away to be honest.

Love
Shell.
27wks 2d pg
xx
hi belinda
welcome to the site of worriers and positive confirmations,
i too had a lot of tummy pains and was doing lots of worrying, i had my first scan yesterday{6wks3days} and my pains are due to my very swollen ovaries, so if mine are like this now yours must be in the same condition, so drink, drink, drink,{i sound like my uncle "father jack"} i was called after him!!!
also being constipated won't help, so try the prunes.
hope this helps
talk soon
love jackie xxx
Hi Belinda,

It's only natural to worry, you join the biggest group og them all, including myself!

I'm 18 weeks now (cannot believe I'm able to write that!) and still have regular pains every day, sometimes very bad ones. My midwife told me yesterday that things are moving, stretching and growing so its all natural and to be expected, in fact, she said she never understood how all women didn't complain of them!!

Jackie is right, constipation won't help, but look on it all as good signs and just remembering what's happening to you!

Feel better soon
Zoe x

Dear Zoe, Jackie and Shell,
Thanks so much for your advice and reassurance, I have always been a worrier, this seems to just bring it out in me so much!
Am pleased to hear that I am not alone in what I'm going through, this site is so fabulous for that, after all that we go through, there are other fantastic women on the other side of the planet that have been there too..Appreciate everyone's kind words and thoughts
Belinda
Hi Belinda, congratulations on your positive result - you must be over the moon!

As the others have said, pains are normal - not only have your ovaries been through the mill, but also your uterus will be growing and expanding so you might feel period type cramps. If you are worried, give your clinic a ring as they will be there to help even after you have a positive result.
Also, get drinking loads of water, and eating loads of fruit, veg and cereals to combat the constipation - there's nothing worse than being bunged up downstairs!!
Hope you're soon feeling better,
love Sally xxx
Thanks Sally,
Appreciate your kind words, am certainly trying hard to do all the right things, just get so scared, I guess that's part of falling pregant via IVF / FET or whatever variation of the theme we've had.
Thanks again Sally
Belinda
